A drug-induced vision of grabby, gore-slicked tentacles erupting from a facade of thick buttercream and lemon sponge soaked in cherry-flavored goo.

A rare portrait of innocence and integrity amidst the corruption of Caligari’s asylum. Tart hibiscus, skin musk, shea, and the faintest whiff of nicotine.

A lusty, bubbling cauldron of black tar spilling forth from a pile of dusty straw and secondhand clothes.

The scent of full-blown nympho housewife hysteria: a smear of flushed, pearly skin musk splashed by a sophisticated vintage aldehyde perfume and drenched in the secretions of high-pitched arousal.

A simple scent for a quiet memory: white sandalwood and sweet amber.

I was hesitant because orange blossom can be very soapy and unpleasant for me (though I can tolerate it at times), but the rest of the notes were so perfect that I blind bottled, and this is the best thing I've smelled from BPAL in a while. Beautiful caramelized tobacco with the red musk and amber. Instant favorite. Not getting much orange blossom.

Swirled with a cinnamon stick.

BPAL’s Troll perfume (vetiver, pine pitch, troll musk, black basil, clove smoke, and scorched cumin) with a squirt of Lilith’s lovely lavender and my signature Dorian.

The horrors of our current political landscape can feel truly overwhelming; utilize this oil to help you refocus righteous rage into concrete action. This oil contains dragon’s blood resin, galangal, high john the conqueror root, passion flower, lemongrass, rosemary, wild ginger, and frankincense.

Our annual peppermint candy Lick It blend, now with a dash of mid-pandemic ennui. (Please don’t actually lick it.)

This was a standout of the Lupers for me, BUT the downside being that it fades away fairly quickly and becomes almost soapy at that point. It's a beautiful floral with that hint of velvety red musk and oakmoss that deepen it into something incredibly sexy during the wet phase/initial phase. If I could just reapply all day it would be perfect. Every time I put it on I marvel, and then as it dries down I decide I don't need to upgrade after all.. it's a struggle.

This was instant love. I typically go for the deeper darker scent families, but occasionally something sweet and girly appeals, and this is right there and an instant bottle upgrade. Highly recommend if these notes call to you. Sweet, sugary, creamy rose.

Truly the scent of autumn itself — damp woods, fir needle, and black patchouli with the gentlest touches of warm pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, sweet red apple and mullein.
-
Highland wildflowers, peat, decaying wood, and faded incense smoke.
