in the bottle - strong, warm floral. 10 minutes after applying to wrist - lemon, maybe eucalyptus? i think i smell currants. raisin maybe. cinnamon and clove. 20 minutes later - sweet pickles, clove, currants. something stings the nostril, it really smells a bit like eucalyptus meets a pickle meets a raisin. not for me, but not horrible. it's interesting. off to swaps you go, little pickle raisin man.

in the bottle - aquatic, tangy, and sweet. i don't know what dragon's blood smells like. after 30 minute drydown - lily. sharp lily. going a bit soapy. the saltwater comes through beautifully. after a few hours - this one has crazy staying power. it's mostly lily now, a bit of the saltwater remains. it is delicious. i want to lick my wrists. love the salty with sharp floral.

Agony and ecstasy: black leather and damp red rose. in the bottle - all i smell is ROSE. but a fresh red rose, and maybe a hint of greenery. very sharp. after a 30 or 45 minute drydown, i smell a fantastic leather, fresh leather, like the inside of a new...something leather. (sorry.) with a hint of rose. a couple of hours later it seems the rose has turned a bit soapy. but the leather is still there and going strong. i will probably layer this with de sade.

in the bottle - strong, sweet, cloying, complex floral. first sniff after applying to wrist - jasmine and maybe a touch of incense. i smell another floral but it doesn't smell like rose. i can't place what it is. after 30 minutes - it reminds me of taking walks with my mom as a child on hot, muggy summer nights. we would always stop to smell the mimosa blooms and tickle our faces with them. maybe frangipani smells like mimosa? very nice. takes me back to a sweet spot in my childhood. great summer fragrance.
