There is a dominant note in this that reminds me somewhat of brown sugar. Or butterscotch as others have mentioned. It's quite heavy and sweet. Underneath it is a faint tartness from the apples, but I'm not getting any fermented mushrooms. It has decent throw and lasting time. I actually quite like it, and I didn't think I would.

This one has a light floralness about it, but nothing too distinct, actually. As it dries down, it gets sweeter and sweeter on me (could be the sweet herbs?), and I am liking it a lot. It is indeed a very wispy sort of scent, very light and fae-like, and it doesn't have much throw. I am glad I have a little imp, because it truly is a beautiful scent, but I also (luckily) don't need to hunt down a bottle, because it's a little too light for me to want to wear regularly. I WILL treasure the imp, though.

This one is very sweet, unfortunately almost plasticky so. I get a lot of the honeycomb, sugared pear and sweet pea (I LOVE sweet pea!). It is indeed a very "pink" scent and it would be good to wear on a day when you want to have some fun and silliness in your life. It is pleasant enough, but it IS verging on the edge of being plasticky, so I probably won't be wearing it too much.

I am SO excited about Reflected Vulva! Little Flora was a surprise hit for me and that's peony (I think) and cream. So I'm kind of expecting it to fall somewhere between Little Flora (for the flowers and cream aspect) and Mouse's Long and Sad Tale, which I also love (for the lovely sweet pea in that and while Mouse's is a creamy scent I don't get actual cream like I do from flora.) I can't remember if I already ordered Love and Sleep or a different one (there were two tied for the spot I was filling) in the small luper order I did. The plan is to make a larger one before they go down. I am actually getting decants of all three of the cream blends! I am very excited about testing them, and depending on how well I like them, I might do another Luper order before they come down as well. Come to think of it, I am actually extremely curious about the "abalone accord" in Plovers Above the Waves...

This is the creamiest, prettiest orange blossom I can remember smelling! The other flowers are there in the background, but at the center stage is the orange blossom. The cream really sweetens up the blend and gives it an almost hazy quality that fits quite well. Overall, it's one of the prettiest floral blends I have tried, and a new favorite for me!

I am not sure what oudh actually smells like, except that it is a resin, so I apologize for that in advance. In the bottle and wet on the skin I get a warm blast of resins, but not much in the way of vanilla yet. But I LOVE resins, so I am happy. Upon dry down, the blend sweetens up quite a bit (must be the vanilla), and all the notes settle in perfectly on my skin, enveloping me in a cloud of sweet incense. It is not unlike Hope and Fear Set Free, but also not quite as sharp (on me, at least, frankincense goes sharper than amber). So if you enjoyed that one, you will also love Hesiod's Phoenix! Overall, I am very happy for my bottle and look forward to wearing this great, smoky blend some more in the future! It would be perfect for a day when you need a bit of resinous comfort, or just when you want an air of mystery about yourself.

This scent is a big morpher throughout, so I'll try and see if I can pin it down properly. In the bottle, it is light and almost a little floral, and I can smell the pomegranates quite clearly. Wet on the skin I am starting to get a lot of almond, but it doesn't actually last long. After a while I am getting doughnuts and coconut, and still the pomegranate is there. After a bit more time I am starting to smell the white chocolate as well. This is a very interesting scent full of surprises! I was expecting it to be heavy on the foody qualities, but it's actually quite light and fresh (this must be the pomegranates). The many different notes blend together very well and nothing overpowers the blend. It definitely is a morpher, so if you don't like it initially, I would wait and give it a chance to dry down and show you its many stages.

The leather is the dominant note in here, but I am also getting some hemp. The leather note really evokes a well-worn suit of leather armor, it has that worn quality about it that I quite like. The blend is a lot softer than I would have guessed initially, and I'm sure it blends magnificently with the other RPG's, though I haven't tried that yet.

2008 version. This is pretty good stuff. It's a lot of tobacco and rose on me, but I'm also getting wafts of the spices and the copal. I probably wouldn't detect agave nectar, since I'm not sure what it smells like. The tobacco is a soft and sweet kind and gives the blend a smoky overtone that I quite enjoy. The rose is just barely there, but it gives the blend a nice juicy touch nonetheless. I probably don't need a bottle, since I wouldn't wear it very often, but I'm glad I got to test it!

In the vial it is heavy on the florals. At first I was a bit disappointed, since I had been looking so much forward to the sugared incense. But as soon as I put it on, it started changing, and the flowers became more subdued. After a while I am really getting the sweet, sweet incense I was hoping for! There is still a floral backdrop, but the whole blend has become sweeter and smokier and kind of "murkier". It is absolutely gorgeous. I will treasure my little decant for a long time to come!

Dry grasses bathed in amber light, muted by gentle shadows. In the vial and wet on the skin, this is a citrusy (amber, I'm guessing) soft scent with a hint of grass. Very nice. As it dries, it becomes more pure amber, but retains some of the citrusy-ness from the wet stages. It doesn't have a ton of throw, but stays close to the skin like a soft, smoky cloud of resiny goodness. This has been a surprise hit for me. I was a bit worried about the grass, as it doesn't always go very well with my skin chemistry, but in this one I have no such problems. I like it very much and am a little sad that I didn't get a bottle back when it was live!

This is one of the only patchouli blends I would wear on a regular basis. It's sharp and orange blossomy goodness with only a hint of the smokiness from the patchouli. Now, this is just how I like my patch! The ginger really gives it a nice fresh kick, but mainly I'm getting the orange blossoms that I love. An indeed very flirtatious and yummy scent!

In the vial and wet, this was all patchouli all the things! I am normally okay with patchouli, but it can sometimes overpower a scent, so I was cautious. On drydown, however, the patchouli goes a lot fainter and I'm getting more of the other notes, fig, and the oakmoss grounds the scent fairly well. I'm not sure what would be the mushrooms in this, but I'm sure they're there somewhere. Overall, it's a soft and smoky and a little dirty patchouli blend with a bit of morphing going on once it dries on the skin. I probably don't need a bottle since I don't wear patchouli blends all that often, but it was surprisingly good on me nonetheless.

I'm curious about the new milk/cream blends from this year's Lupercalia collection. We have: Love and Sleep: Fig milk, vanilla, orchid, and ylang ylang. Plovers Above the Waves Rice flower, white cream, tea roses, abalone accord, white moss, beeswax, tuberose, and red currant. Reflected Vulva Sweet pea, cherry blossoms, and sugared cream. There might be some great blends among them, so I thought I'd mention them here!

This is a very cozy and sweet blend of cinnamon, spice and rose. The rose is very light, but it is definitely there underneath a sweet veil of spices. Even though the spices are dominant, they are not actually very strong. I don't get a lot of tea out of it, unfortunately. But the spiced rose is gorgeous! It is a very light scent, overall, and the different notes blend together well. In the bottle it smells mostly like it does on my skin, so it's not a big morpher. I will definitely be wearing this whenever I need a little cloud of coziness to envelop me on a rainy day

This starts out very much sweet pear. Delicious both in the bottle and wet on my skin! Then it starts morphing, and the pear almost goes away, leaving mainly a coconutty scent with some indistinct floral that I'm not sure what is. It is extremely light and doesn't have much in the way of throw. It's quite good, but I also wish it had stayed more like it was in the wet stage, since I absolutely love the pear note!

This one was a lot less "green" than I expected! It starts off rather sharp, but soons dries down to a softer foresty scent. I am definitely getting the delicious maple, and the fur note lends a fuzziness to the blend that is quite comfortable. Overall, I would say it is green, but not too much so, and in a very sweet and snuggly way. I quite like it!

There are a lot of great suggestions in here already, so I'll just chime in with one. A slightly different aquatic I can think of is The Sea Foams Milk. It has a strong aquatic note - but at the same time the creaminess from the milk note underneath. Not sure I would call it sexy, though. But it's certainly different.

I was curious about this one, because I often have problems with pumpkin, but I also love Alice, so I felt I had to give it a try. The pumpkin is dominant. Or, actually, it's more like pumpkin spice; it's certainly a very spicy pumpkin note. Unfortunately, I amp it like I often do, and it takes over the blend completely. I can't detect Alice underneath. If I really concentrate, I get an Alice-like feel, like a sweet milkiness, but in general the pumpkin drowns her out. It's a shame about the amping pumpkin, because I'm sure it's a very pretty blend if your skin can balance out the notes better than mine can.

I was frimped this by a very nice forumite, and as I love Labyrinth and David Bowie, I of course had to try it! This is perfect! I can definitely see the comparison to Dorian. This is light and gleaming, not unlike a good earl grey blend. It also reminds me quite a bit of the Carnaval Diabolique blend Theodosius the Legerdemain, which I also adore. It has a similar feel to it , I think. The leather is dominant, and is smooth and a bit smoky. It's a very sexy blend, and one that works very well as unisex, in my opinion. I would love to try it on a guy, but I also absolutely love it on myself. Overall, a very fitting blend for the sexy Jareth, and a blend that really lived up to my high expectations. I will probably get a bottle at some point, but until then I will be happily hoarding my imp!

This is straight up yummy cake! I was a bit worried at first, because I don't really like overly cakey blends. However, the currants enter the stage and sweetens up the blend, also making it a bit fresher. It's still a fairly cakey vanilla scent, but not AS cakey as I first feared. It's really quite pleasant, I think. I probably won't be wearing it much, but I might as well keep my imp for those days when I want something foody and berry.

This is a beautiful rose, ever so faintly tinged with coconut and orris. It's soft and pretty, and the rose gives it a juicy freshness. It's a rose blend I can definitely see myself wearing. I love it!

Thanks for all your recommendations! Also, vthesiren, a scent that actually has "bog water" listed as a note is epic. I'll try and find some imps.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! Now I have a good list to work from.

Wet, I get mostly the lavender from this. Overall, a very masculine and fresh smell with a lavender bite. Dry, the lavender fades quite a bit, and I'm especially getting a lot of the thyme. But there is a lot of notes in here, so I'm not good as distinguishing each one. While it was still wet I was a bit concerned, because I'm not into overly masculine cologne-y scents, but the drydown is quite beautiful.
