    Absinthe

All I can smell in this blend is lemon it seems, to the point it smells like pledge on me. I kind of knew the lemon and mint would be killer (as some people with the same tastes/skin chemistry have shown), but I had to give it a try because of the name. The anise is also a killer as I absolutely loathe black licorice.

    Autumn Coolness

This is one of my all time favorites, and I wish I had been around for its release. I would've ordered so many bottles of it! It's cool and relaxing, sweet without being overly so. It's complex in that it has quite a few scents, but they come together so singularly that I cannot pick one out from the other. Late summer blooming flowers blowing in a sweet breeze. Utterly wonderful.
  3. I highly recommend Lawn Gnome if you like sweet vanilla. Molasses, vanilla cream, moss, and patchouli. The moss and patchouli ground the vanilla and molasses and keep it from being a cloying sweet smell. It also makes it a bit heavy, and not light. I'm usually not a fan of sweet (give me dark and musky any day) but I simply cannot get enough of Lawn Gnome. Also from some of the Will Call reviews, Boo might be another good one. Supposedly the cotton in it grounds the spun sugar and keeps it from being overwhelming also.

    Lawn Gnome

I just received this from the lab today, and boy am I glad I got a bottle before it goes away! This is very vanilla cream on me, which is awesome. It's not the cloying sweet vanilla, though it does add a sweet tone to it with the molasses, but the red currant and patchouli (which is very minimal in this) keeps it from just overpowering. I did expect a bit more of a 'dirt' feel, but I am really, really pleased with what came of it. No dirt, just a sweet, very slightly spicy, bit earthy mix that is just wonderful!

    Earth Phoenix

Pine, pine, pine, and just a bit more pine. Underneath that, I catch a sweet/dirty smell. Must be the cherries and moist soil. I get very little floral scent from this until way past dry down. I must be amping the cypress from here to kingdom come. It nearly drowns everything out, but that's okay. I really, really like forest-like scents and this is definitely something I like.

    Dance of Death

Definitely a scent I've wanted to try! So glad I got an imp of it as a frimp. Wet and in the imp, I get a strong smell of Cherry 7-up (it took me a minute to place it, definitely a fruity soda). Not quite what I was expecting ... but not a horrid smell. I like the smell of Cherry 7-up (though I really don't like drinking it). After a few minutes, I still get a faint fruity soda smell, but it's deepened with something darker and more sinister. Half hour later and I still get that fizzy, fruity soda smell. Hmm. It's okay, but not at all what I was hoping for and not anything I'd want to wear. To the sell/swap pile. Actually, I might try aging this. I'm not sure how old it is, but it looks fairly new, almost fresh from the lab. Hopefully that will help some.

    Languor

This scent delivers everything the description says and more. I put this on just after getting to work and my how the day has just passed me by. I even missed my 10am break!! Tuberose and I are the bestest of friends, and I tend to amp it just a bit, but not in this one. It seems to be hanging in the back, giving just the barest hint of wet floral. Instead, the opium and white/black narcissus seem to be enjoying hanging out and wafting lazily in the front row, giving you the barest glimpses of floral notes before secreting them away again. Langour is truly a scent for those lazy days where you move at your own pace, which in comparison to others, is just this side of slow.

    The Caterpillar

Just the idea of this being worked around the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland made me want it. And now that I have an imp, I want more! It is a very outdoorsy scent on me. It reminds me of walking in the woods when I used to live in NC and SC. Very damp earth smell, with hints of floral and a barely there smoky/incense smell that wafts in and out. This will definitely go on my 'need a bottle' list.

    Nocturne

I bought a bottle of this before ever testing it out of impulse (love tuberose), but ended up with an imp as a freebie! I'm not disappointed I bought the bottle. In the imp, it's very strong, sharp floral. Almost too much. On the skin, it's still very strong, but it takes on a wet smell, like flowers floating in water. The tuberose is very strong on me, but it's not so overpowering that I can't smell the other florals beneath it. Dry it is like a sweet breeze through flowers just after a rain. I'm not getting the 'powdery' scent at all, mine is a very wet floral - deep, and sweet, and lovely. I may have to get another bottle of this, just to have for a long while.
