So Weit Gebracht, Daß Wir Bei Nacht

At first, I'm confused and I think it's a light floral scent but it's not. This feels like a nice summer blend. Cardamom really leads the way and is supported by a light bouquet of resins. I get mostly Cardamom and a husky vanilla that is not overly sweet more dry. It reminds me of the color of a cardamom pod mostly because I'm mostly smelling cardamom throughout which is nice. I love Cardamom!

Hippie love nostalgia. Hemp magick. Before you know you'll be learning macrame and permaculture. Utopian and delicious. More suede than leather to my nose. Softness. Kind of disappears, just like all my ex boyfriends 😥 then lingers just like all of my ex boyfriends 😖 smells way better too 😂

Minamoto No Yorimitsu Cuts at the Earth Spider reminds me of Tobacco Flower by FRESH. LOVE it.

Minamoto No Yorimitsu Cuts at the Earth Spider

The standout of this blend is for me the tobacco flower. It provides a smoky soapiness with a hint of green. I love tobacco flower this reminds me a lot of one of Fresh's colognes for men aptly titled "Tobacco Flower" . I wanted to slather that over every man I knew, and myself. Sadly that was discontinued and very HTF so this blend is my new BF. The sandalwood is very light and the patchouli I would never even suspect to be in there. On my skin the tobacco flower, vanilla and sandalwood are the standouts and the dry soapy factor of the tobacco flower mellows out maybe 10 minutes in. The drydown is beautiful, not overly sweet. I can see how this would make a fantastic unisex blend. This does remind me of Black Lace w/o the cotton note which goes sour on me. They have a similar vibe but this is my fav.

Scent similar to "Sugar" by Fresh?

Dorian reminds me so much of Sugar by fresh. Try it! Dorian :: A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea

    Cottonmouth

I second the mention of Snake oil and dryer sheets. I find this combo of Snake oil and florals a little unsettling. On my skin is mellows to a chalky resiny floral that is not my fav of the Snake Pits. The drydown an hour into the scent is kind of growing on me though.

    Nemesis

My first impression of this was that it was very sharp and green smelling. This rounded out to a soapy smokiness within 5-10 minutes. I found that the cypress and rose in combination remind me of cleaning products and soap shops. Unfortunately, this is one blend that has really given me a headache.

    Black Pearl

This is a great coconut blend and probably my favorite that I've tried so far. Tiki Princess and Ashlultum turned sort of plastic-y on me but this blend perhaps tempered with a cool iris and white musk scent is truly lovely. It surprised me that hazelnut was in this blend. That note is usually a no-go on me but in Black pearl it seems to bring out the creaminess of the coconut note. This sort of reminds me of an improved version of Black Coconut by Auric Blends, Black Pearl being more complex and less sweet. This is definitely a perfect lush coconut scent for spring/summer. It's longevity is unfortunately less than I'd like it to be but I think it would be perfect for warmer weather when you want a coconut scent without too much sillage. I want some.

wiffcat: Maiden is the closest thing I can think of to the Stella line. They both have a nice soft rose note. Notes are ; white tea, carnation and Damask Rose.

On trying L'artisan's Havana Vanille it reminds me very VERY much of Inez by BPAL. Though Inez dries to a buttery musk and HV stays truer to it's powdery vanillic gourmand side and is a tad sweeter. I am really amazed by how they have such a similar feel though.

they share patchouli and vanilla I think. Angel seems to be more of a gourmand bomb in the notes though. This makes me want to try Banshee Beat now...

Just got a sample of Histoires des Parfums Tuberose 2 Virginale - from their Tuberose Trilogy and it smells very much like BPAL's Dark Delicacies on me. Both are amazing.

I don't know if it's been said before but I just smelled Dorian and it reminded me Sugar Lemon by Fresh - SO MUCH.

    Gypsy

This was an epic fail for me as it didn't remind me of any of those beautiful sounding notes. Once applied on my skin the oil smelled slightly musty and vaguely spiced. I couldn't get any vanilla at all! This reminded me of the smell of a book left out in the rain for a month; it had an overwhelming sweet moldy paper smell. I'm guessing the cardamom may do this for me because other blends i've tried that contain it (crib girls) have done the same thing.

    Lurid

smells like pastilles soaked in white musk. It's a fresh cool lavender with a serious powdered bleach edge. I want to like this but something about it gives me a headache. It does dry down super musky, muskier than my other white musks have. This reminds me of Ultraviolet and an oakmoss/violet perfume by DSH called Veridian.
