i am not sure what floral this is at all. it's a sweet floral but there is an aquatic edge that burns my sinuses...it reminds me of a perfume i've smelled before but i can't place it. the slight ozone/aquatic part of the scent is working for me so i will have to swap it.

at first this smelled like musty cinnamon on me. cinnamon is OK to me but not amazing, as a skin-scent. now that it's dried, it smells a bit better, but i get pure cinnamon and cassia. it's kind of unremarkable with my skin chemistry, so i will swap it.

at first i get airy sweetness with a bubbly pepperminty smell. once it dries down i get a powdery sandalwood (i think) possibly mixed with a subtle floral. the sandalwood is going all pencil-lead on me and giving me a headache, unfortunately.

i am on the fence about this one. it smells pretty nice, but i can't really pick out any of the notes. it's warm and has an almost rubbery scent to it, which isn't actually all that bad. perhaps it's the elemi? rosewood can be hit or miss but i think it works here. a very strange scent but i kind of like it...i'm just not sure if i would really wear it much.

this doesn't smell all that great on me, though it sounded like it would. it smells like generic sandalwood incense on my skin. as an incense that's ok but i don't really want to smell like it...it is very "headshop" on my skin. i'll definitely be swapping this one.

something in this just isn't working for me, but i can't put my finger on which note it is. there is a nice incensy quality but then there is a sweetness which smells a little sickly sweet and fruity on me. i think i'll swap this one.

this one is very nice, not exactly what i was expecting, but light and pretty. it smells like incensy-lemon to me, reminiscent of midnight on the midway but less sugary and much more citrussy. i suppose i am getting the mandarin and maybe peru balsam the strongest. i dont seem to get much ginger or leather, and thankfully the jasmine is subtle on me. i really like this scent, i just wish it had more throw. re-try years later after receiving a frimp from the lab: i think i smell mandarin, tea leaf and a hint of slightly sour rose. a little bit of opium and tobacco come through, and later on, some vanilla. this one is ok, but still remains a bit sour on me, so i think i will swap it.

this reminds me of bengal too, but is more spicy-cinnamony. it smells like cinnamon with some sort of musk, perhaps and maybe a honey or vanilla? i'm not sure, it just smells very cinnamony to me. not really wowing me scent wise, but i will try it out for it's suggested purpose soon.

i get a buttery pumpkin and i definitely smell blood orange and vanilla in there as well. at first i thought this was too buttery-foody for my tastes, but strangely enough, the longer i wear it the more it grows on me it's a citrus-pumpkin-vanilla. gorgeous for fall.

this isn't what i expected at all. i expected more of a dirt-moss scent like zombi, but this is more green/ozoney and perfumey. i cant pick out any notes at all, i can just tell its perfumey. it's nice but not sure if its a keeper for me.

i just want to say i am continually amazed by the snake pit scents. i am not a big snake oil fan, but so many of the snake pit scents are doing me right habu is one of them! this is a gorgeous, warm, musky, sexy scent. i can't really pick out individual notes, but i can smell the musk the strongest. it is not as murky as black musk usually is, however. in the beginning there is a sweet fruityness (bamboo?), but it fades quickly and i am left with a gorgeous warm musk. this may have to be a big bottle purchase.

this is a very nice citrus-herbal on my skin. i definitely get the green mandarin and crushed green stems the strongest. also a herbal-sweet floral seems to be in there. this reminds me (along with empyreal mist) A LOT of calyx by prescriptives. except i like this better because it isn't as cloying. it's fresh and i also think it's capable of being a unisex scent.

wow, this one is really good. at first sniff of the imp, i wasn't so sure because i got a foody note and i am not to keen on foody notes. i guess that was the caramel. however, on my skin, the caramel is faint enough to add just a nice warmth in the back. i definitely get the musk, nicotiana and sage, but i can't seem to detect the mint. this scent is very warm and sensual...reminds me of a more masculine version of thirteen, but isn't super-duper masculine, and i love it

the dodo is a fruity-citrussy musk on me. i can barely make out the cassia. the red musk, lemon and mango are most prominent on my skin. i think the agarwood makes a faint appearance. this is nice, but not amazing with my skin chemistry so i will probably swap it.

it's hard to place my finger on what is in this. i think there is lilac, gardenia, cinnamon and dragon's blood with maybe a dash of vanilla? either that or it's creamy from the gardenia. it's a very interesting scent...i think i tried a voodoo blend that was similar once, but i like this one better. i'm not sure i would wear this all that much, i do like gardenia but not dragon's blood so much. luckily the gardenia seems to be the strongest on my skin. i might have to test this again to decide if it's a keeper.

i had mixed feelings about trying this one, but i recently got it as a frimp from the lab and now i've had a chance. i love rose and it is hit or miss, but frankincense often doesnt work. the rose in rose cross smells like a rose when it is wilting, it has a sour undertone, possibly from the frankincense, but i'm not totally sure. i usually get a lead-like scent from frankincense, but it's not coming through like that here. unfortunately this just doesn't work with my skin.

wow i love this one. it's a creamy-violet-rose to my nose. it reminds me a LOT of arcana soaps rapunzel, too. the calla lily comes out more as it's faded and adds a slight floral-sweetness. i dont get any lavender from this at all, like others have. i'd put it in the category with hope, faith and pink moon 07- sugary/creamy-florals.

this smells like spicy-incensy musk. it reminds me A LOT of the cracked bell, but the cracked bell has that metallicness to it and is a bit stronger. i like this one a lot, but i think i have a lot of other scents that are similar that i'm not sure if it's a keeper or not.

the wine is very strong on my skin along with the red musk and sandalwood in the background. i get a hint of tobacco. the wine smells very cherry-like on my skin though, sort of cough-syrupy. i kind of like it once it really fades, but the initial strong cherry scent doesn't sit well with me :/

i received a lovely package from my switch witch today...one of the imps from the lab she sent is titled "ah'duno" (i dunno?) i can't seem to find it anywhere by searching. it's bright red and smells like dragons blood, so i searched the website for that too and nothing came up. does anyone know what/where this is? thanks a lot!!

at first the rose in this blend is quite sour, once it mellows out some, i mostly smell rose and plum with maybe a little black cherry? i was personally hoping for more carnation, but i can barely sense it. this is nice, but the fruits turn a bit plasticky on me, making it a bit underwhelming, so i think i'll swap it.

this reminds me of a softer, warmer, less complex buck moon. it's very soft and animalistic and a bit powdery. i am having trouble picking out notes though. it's powdery in a violet-coconut sort of way...not sure how else to describe it there is also some sort of soft musk. i dont get much leaves or wine though. i may keep my imp but i don't think i'll get a bottle.

wow this is interesting. it really does evoke october/autumn. it's a slightly bitter herbal with an underlying aquatic. i definitely smell leaves and sap, and it has a slight cologne-y scent to it. it's so interesting and evocative but i'm not sure if i'd wear it much...hmm. eta: once it's drier i smell some sort of floral but i cant place it all...it reminds me of rose but it's not rose.

i got the massage oil in the fire element because a. i'm an aries and b. tend to like spicy sorts of scents. the scent is very nice, i think i mostly get sandalwood and king mandarin with a hint of patchouli. the consistency is nice-it's thin and silky and soaks right into the skin nicely. after trying this one, i definitely want to try some of the other scents now!
