all i really seem to get from this is the crisp grapefruit, which is very zingy, with maybe a bare hint of lavender and musk. it's a very fresh, clean scent, and i find it perfect for spring and summer.

i adore dorian, and i adore dorian soap. the lather is nice like all the soaps and the scent is wonderful and comforting. i kind of wish it was stronger-scented actually, because dorian is a very subtle scent. i definitely will get a full bar of this at some point in time.

i love this. very crisp, citrus tea. i like it a bit better than the perfume, because i think it is softened in the soap. it's good for summer and is a very soothing, cooling scent.
-
i got this from a sample circle. i love the bordello perfume so i was excited to try the soap. it's very nice and smooth with a great lather, like all the bpal soaps. it smells like bordello but is more subtle somehow, to my nose. maybe the vanillas and wines are stronger than the fruits in this, i'm not sure. it's lovely and i think i will have to buy a whole bar.

i love true reds, and mme. moriarty is just that. a true, deep, classic blue-red. it goes on smooth, while not being so thin that it doesnt fully color the nail, but not being so thick that it clumps. it dries quickly, and it is the PERFECT consistency. i am very excited to try some other colors now

i took a risk trying this one, with all those fruits included, i wasnt sure i would like it, but i love the coffin and the whole aesthetic. plus the florals in it work with my skin chemistry. anyway, yeah it's fruity, with an underlying peppery-musk. it almost makes me want to sneeze a little due to the pepper. the fruit isn't TOO sweet, but it's definitely there. i don't seem to get much florals at all, and the patchouli is very subtle. this is a very autumnal scent, and i do like it, i'm just not sure it's something i would wear much because of the fruitiness. i'll probably have to try it 1-2 more times before i make a final decision.

hmm this reminds me of one of last year's halloween scents...i think it was wilhemina murray. i get a powdery floral sort of thing going on, which i think is moonflower+honeysuckle. either that or the amber or musk is turning a bit powdery- it's probably the grey musk. also, the orchid makes a faint appearance as well. this is nice but it smells a lot like other scents i've tried. i will keep my imp but probably won't buy a bottle.

this scent is very evocative of the artwork! it's very rosy, indeed. the calla lily and red currant sweeten it up a bit and the ambergris and vanilla add a nice warmth. at first i mostly get rose, but once it dries the depth of the scent comes out more. it smells very classically floral and feminine. it's so pretty, i will definitely keep my imp.

i got a sniffie of this from a swap with a bit to test. it smells like honey and sweet fruits, with a hint of something warming underneath-must be the sandalwood. this is a pretty scent, but fruity scents are really my thing.
-
in the imp this smells like cinnamon and some sort of resin. on my skin it's cinnamon with other soft spices. once it dries down, i get a sour herbal scent that i cant place. not many of the voodoo blends work with my skin chemistry, and all night long is no exception.

got this as a frimp from the lab and it's a surprise hit with my skin chemistry. i saw "dark fruits" and immediately assumed it wouldnt work, as mostly fruity scents dont work on me. however, this one is gorgeous! the fruit isnt sweet or cloying. i get amber with subtle fruits and a warm almost vanilla-scent. this is so warm and pretty and not foody on my skin at all. i may have to get a bottle of this one!

this smells like dragon's blood, cinnamon and almond. at first it smells like smoke with a weird nuttiness to it, then that fades and i am left with smoky sweetness. it does embody the meaning of the card quite well-it is very firey. not sure i'd wear this ever, so i'll put it up for swap.
-
i kind of like the smell of this, but am not sure i would really wear it. i am getting pine, vetiver and eucalyptus from this. it has a very antiseptic quality to it, and is a bit cold, almost like mint, but not mint...must be eucalyptus? very clean and piney overall.
-
this is pure lemon and resin/woods on me. i am getting lemon + pencil shavings, so it's either frankincense, cedar or some kind of sandalwood. i had high hopes for this one, but my skin just doesnt like it, unfortunately.
-
i think this is possibly honeysuckle with daffodil and maybe a touch of sweet pea and grasses. the honeysuckle doesnt go too sour on me as usual, and it is quite nice. this is a pretty light, sunny floral-this would be very nice for spring. i will definitely keep my imp.

wow, this scent is beautiful! it's a creamy musky floral, and there is something that reminds me of vanilla in a way, which i think might be the olive blossom? luckily the cedar makes no appearance on my skin. i think i am mostly getting black amber, black orchid, blue musk and olive blossom. however, the notes are blended so well, i can't really be sure. this sort of reminds me of love and pain from the salon, but the lavender is subtler here. i love this scent and i am so glad i bought a bottle!

this is an herbal-aquatic to my nose, with a tinge of floral and grasses. i dont think i get the smoke note. it's got a very grassy feel that never seems to cease. it stays strong on my skin and doesn't morph much at all. i like this ok, but wouldn't wear it often so i'll swap it.
-
hmm, i've made friends with vetiver recently, but i am not really liking it in this. perhaps it's the combination of it with the patchouli, but i get a sour earthiness from this and something is sending off that pencil shaving scent.
-
wow this is very sweet and floral. i get a vanilla-orange-plumeria. very lush and tropical with a warmth behind it. it's almost foody but not quite and all the notes are blended very well. this is very pretty, and isn't really my style. that being said, i could see myself wearing it occasionally.
-
this smells like a soft masculine fragrance to me. i mostly get the musk with a hint of sage. the moss isn't too strong on my skin. nice, but not really my style, so i will probably swap this.
-
i dont even know how to describe this one. i definitely get tonka and lilac musk with a crisp hint of lime. this is a clean masculine scent with a hint of almost-foodiness. once it dries the blackberry leaf comes out more and sweetens it up a bit.
-
at first i get a slightly sharp berry note, like unripe berries with a tinge of sourness, which overwhelms everything. it smells like some sort of air freshener i remember my grandmother having. once dry, however it smells much better, more like spicy amber with a hint of sweetness from the berries. i will definitely keep my imp, but probably won't need a bottle of this, as fruity scents aren't really my style. though for a fruity scent, i really like this one.

Snake Oil with oakmoss, sea moss, and olive leaf. wow this is beautiful. in the imp it smells quite green and leafy but on my skin it's very warm and almost vanilla-leather-like. at least to my nose it is. i definitely smell the olive leaf, which is warmed by whatever is coming out in the background. the leathery smell dies down after awhile and i get a stunning but simple vanilla-olive leaf combination with a touch of something tea-like. i am coming to find i am liking the snake pit much more than i thought i would, and i may have to get a bottle of this one.

in the imp this smells floral with a hint of almond. it starts out as a light floral but gradually builds to a floral with a spicy intensity. very exotic, pretty and sexy!
-
i get a pale, watery floral from this. i definitely smell the moonflower, cucumber and hyacinth the most. unfortunately, this turns very soapy on my skin and ends up smelling like watered-down white florals.
