this starts out a sweet floral and i don't get much rose, the lotus tends to overwhelm. when it dries the rose comes forward a bit more, but it's still primarily lotus. this is a nice, sweet perfumey floral. just not sure i'd wear it often.

ahhhh this is the closest scent i've found to real rain. it smells like rain on the pavement when you're walking outside, when the rain first starts falling. it is a strange scent, aquatic+vetiver, and i am forever changing my opinion on vetiver, but i think on certain occasions i'd love wearing this one, it just wouldn't be all that often.

this is a sweet, green perfumey floral. it reminds me of dirty with sweet floral added, so basically it smells like perfumey dryer sheets on my skin. not really the kind of scent i'm into so i'll have to swap it.

this starts off as a bright lemony scent with a slight creaminess. later on i get a sort of woody-floral from it, which may be the heliotrope, since i am not too familiar with it? this part sort of turns bad with my skin chemistry, so i dont think this one will work that well for me :/

i dont get any rose or gardenia in this at all. i am not too familiar with the other notes, so i am not sure about them. basically this smells like white florals on me- ylang ylang and maybe a tinge of honeysuckle. i cant pick out anything else though.
-
at first i get a strong-cherry almond. once dry it's anise with a tiny hint of cherry. after a few hours it's a spicy cherry. i like this part the best, but i'm not gonna wait 3 hours for it to get there, so i'll have to swap this one.

i got this as a frimp from someone. wet, all i can smell is strong, strong jasmine, which my skin tends to amp. after it's dried a bit the honeysuckle comes out more, tempering the strength of the jasmine a bit. i can sense a slight spice in the background, but it's mostly pure jasmine and honeysuckle. jasmine is hit or miss for me, and this one seems to be more of a miss because i just amp it a lot.

im mostly getting plum and amber from this with a slight hint of grapefruit. it actually reminds me a lot of plumeria. pretty, but probably not something i'd wear all that often, so i think i may swap it.

first this starts out as cherry-almond and seems sort of promising, but now that it's dry it smells like musty baby powder on me
-
i smell the tea, tangerine and amber musk, and i get a hint of spiciness, but not pure cardamom or cinnamon. luckily the cherry blossom is tame! the musk in this is a bit perfumy, but i like it that way. it reminds me of the musk in theodosius a great deal. it definitely has a warmth to it that is like the warmth of skin. i love this one!

i had a feeling i'd love this one, and i truly do. it's musk and vanilla on me with a slight slight spicy leather. it reminds me of smut, but is not so musky as smut. i am in LOVE with this. now comes the trial of finding a bottle...

this was a frimp from the lab. thisone is very sweet, and i think i smell wine, honey and dragon's blood. or something that reminds me of dragon's blood, because it's sweet and almost fruity with a hint of spice and smells very red to me. unfortunately, this is way too sweet for my tastes, so i'll have to add it to my swaplist.

this smells like soapy lilac and/or honeysuckle with a very slight tinge of rose. i dont get an overwhelming feeling of rose from this scent at all. i usually like rose, but this is all out white florals on me (which i dont like), so off to swaps it goes.

this is such a strange scent. it's aquatic but musty smelling to me, if that makes any sense. i think i smell the juniper mixed with a shampoo-ish scent, which becomes a bit powdery. it reminds me of industrial soap they have in public bathrooms, and doesnt work on me at all!
-
this smells like ylang ylang and herbs to me with a slight musky/spiciness. i don't smell any dragon's blood, but maybe it is very very faint. it's pretty soapy on me and not really my style.

i love queen gertrude. at first i thought i was smell violets and rose with some greenery, but then i read the description and realized there is no rose. perhaps it's the wisteria? i love florals and all the florals in this, so it works for me pretty well. only thing is, it fades quickly and gets a bit powdery for my tastes when dry. i'd still get a big bottle though.
-
all i smell in this is cardamom and rosewood, or some other kind of wood and a slight hint of patchouli. at first i thought i was cinnamon, but now after reading the description i realize it's cardamom. i really can't smell any black cherry or verbena at all. interesting, but not really my style, so it's off to the swaps with this one.
-
all i'm getting from this is plum and opium, which are probably my least favorite notes in this scent. it's a cloyingly sweet fruity-floral on my skin, which isn't really suited to my tastes. i'll have to swap this.
-
yep this smells like gardenia and aquatics. it's very light and clear and smells a lot like a mainstream perfume to me. it's very pretty but not really my style, so i think i'll swap it.

omfg i love this. it's like a deeper, darker more complex haunted on my skin. i get lots of black musk and amber with touches of neroli and bergamot. thankfully i cant smell the frankincense at all! i may need a big bottle of this.
-
when first on my skin, this was very acrid and pungent. it smelled like burning bathroom cleaner. now that it's dried, there is a very familiar note, but i can't place it. it smells dry and grassy, but there is still a strange flammable type scent to it.
-
oh i love this one. why do i have to fall in love with long-gone LEs? it smells like a musky-floral with tobacco to me. it actually reminds me a lot of what gypsy queen and horreur sympathetique would smell like if they reproduced. wonderful...i will hunt down a bottle of this!!
-
i got this as a frimp from the lab-it;s very interesting, a bit of a soft aquatic with a soft mint (no sharpness from either) and an underlying sweet tea-like scent that i've gotten from many of the mad tea party scents. this is a little bit soapy but i think it'd be nice for summer.
-
i got this as a frimp from the lab- smells like gin with an alcoholic edge/slight citrus. smells almost piney at first. not very me, but very evocative indeed!
-
wow this scent is truly evocative. it smells like an old, dusty, slightly damp house that's been locked up for 50 years and hasn't seen the light of day. i get sandalwood and a slight cinammony-hot-spiciness and the cardamom. maybe faint patchouli, but i dont sense any florals here at all. it's a very strange scent to me, i don't think it's one i'd wear, so off to the swaps.
