Nostalgia encapsulated. A soft, wistful blend of dry flowers, aged linens, and the faint breath of long-faded perfumes. this smells like soft florals, vanilla and 80s musk. i think that's the aged linens, i'm not sure. though i like this scent, i'm not sure it's really "me". will have to try again. 2017 version: this is very vanilla-y. i can't remember if original antique lace smelled like this because i tested it so long ago, but i do get mostly vanilla and the aged linens. the vanilla in this turns a bit plasticky on me. i don't seem to get any florals. i think there may be a soft musk in this as well.

i got this as a frimp from the lab- not something i normally would have chosen. not that i don't like lavender, i just don't wear it in perfume much. this smells like lavendar + something herbal, which is the pennyroyal, but prior to this i'd never smelled pennyroyal. it seems all most grassy-minty-tea like. but not minty in the traditional sense. it smells better as it fades, but then my skin eats this one right up.

i got this as a frimp from the lab, which is nice because it was on my wishlist! this is a beautiful warm and sweet scent. very summery. on me it smells like florals and amber- not sickly sweet florals but warm and summery, kind of tropical, and the amber warms up the florals nicely. definitely a keeper, if not a big bottle purchase.

this is spicy, but in a kind of foody-exotic way, but not TOO foody, or else it wouldn't be for me. the cinnamon doesn't overpower, as it often does on my skin, which is nice. this reminds me somewhat of desire, but without the patchouli/floral aspect, and is less deep. i can sense the skin musk, which adds a bit of sexiness. so all in all it's a warm, subtly sexy scent. very nice.

ooh, another (of the few) honey scents i can wear! this is very faint, it seems to fade fast, which is my only complaint about it. on my skin it smells like lemon, tea, milk and ginger. like a lighter and less sweet and cakey dorian. but it kind of gives me a similar feel to dorian. i love this one!

none of the other xmas descriptions really wowed me, but when i saw stardust, i ordered it immediately. besides sounding like an interesting scent, i <3 glam rock, so i HAD to order this. at first stardust smells like hairspray and slightly sweaty skin (not in a bad way), then the champagne and florals come out. it kind of reminds me of the final net hairspray i used when i was younger. it then dries down to white musk + florals + a hint of hairspray. i really like this a lot, yay!

i had great hope for this one- i love complex florals. i think i mostly smell the blood orange, gardenia, tunisian amber and toasted vanilla. it's the last note that i dont like- if the vanilla had a less 'toasted' quality to it, and was a more sugary vanilla, i think i'd like this better, but the toastiness overwhelms the rest of the scent on my skin.

i was really excited about this one- the description intrigued me. unfortunately, i am pretty ambivalent to it. to me it smells like coconut, almond, powder and a soft soft violet or other floral. it is a nice scent. just not very me.

the only word i can think to describe the unicorn is precious. it smells of soft, sweet herbs with beautiful sweet florals. i normally like dark dusky florals, but this is a beautiful scent for a sunny day- like the first day of spring when the sun finally begins to shine after months of overcast.

i got this as a frimp from the lab. it smells like powdery herbs with frankincense. it doesn't do anything for me, as i have no love for frankincense. but even beyond that, the herbal/powder smell isn't that great on my skin either.

i get mostly violet from this, and the vetiver is very very faint in the background. violet plus an earthy/herbal scent. my skin eats it right up too.
-
in belladonna i can smell a soft grassy scent with a sharper more herbal scent in the background. unfortunately my skin eats it right up within 20 minutes. an interesting scent if you like herbal scents.

this smells almost exactly like irish spring soap on me. must be the jasmine and thyme, because i generally have good luck with the other notes. bpal's jasmine seems to overpower on me generally. i am not sure that it does in this, though. this is a clean fresh scent, but reminds me too much of irish spring to be able to wear it.

i had high hopes for this, as thus far, none of the moons have worked on me. this one doesn't turn, but it doesn't smell remarkable either. sort of like powdery cinnamon with a touch of musk.

Based on a Romany incense blend reputed to induce sexual dreams: Somalian rose, Moroccan rose and Bulgar rose with a sultry dribble of cinnamon. this is very rosy with a powdery undertone. roses + cinnamon don't seem mix well on my skin, which seems strange, but there it is. i think i'll hand this off to a friend who might like it.

at first sniff, this smells pretty much like dirt and wine, but that's a good smell. after it fades a bit it smells like a softer wine, like wine with a less acidic flavor. maybe dessert wine? it's a really beautiful scent. i also think i pick up some sort of floral? what, i dont know..but when it dries down it has the most beautiful soft wine scent with a touch of herbal/dirt in the background.

omg omg omg i am in love! with severin. it smells like tea, lemons and leather just like it says, with the lemon and leather coming out strongest. it *is* a bit masculine, but i think leathery scents on a woman can be really sexy. even more so than on a man. so that being said, this one may become one of my favorites. i dont find the leather to be of the 'dusty old book' variety like some have said. i think it's a much more sexy leather and i think the name severin goes perfect with this scent. i must get a big bottle of this.

i wanted to like this one so much. there are elements that smell divine, like the soft, creamy milky smell i get, but there is some note in this that has a urine-like smell on me...ick. this note (i have no idea what it is) is so overpowering that it gives me a headache and turns my stomach when i sniff it. i am having the worst luck with the moon scents thus far.
-
this smells like milky bubbles! reminds me of milkbath stuff i've tried. pure, clean, innocent and fresh. not really 'me' but maybe nice once in awhile. it certainly is soft and comforting. few honey scents work on me, but this is one of them!
-
alice smells like milk honey & tea with a touch of soft spices. i guess that's the carnation. a beautiful, soft comforting scent. i love all the notes in this scent, except honey- honey scents usually don't work on me, but this one does- yay! i'll probably use this sparingly, but i admit it's really soft and pretty.

if i do say so myself, this smells fabulous on me. it's a woody-black cherry with other berries coming through as well. i am not much of a fruity-scent person, but sometimes i enjoy the berries. this seems like a wintry/xmas scent to me. very nice- not sure it's 'me' or that i would wear it often, but it's a pretty pretty scent.

silk road is a warm spicy scent. i smell almonds, sandalwood and spices. it kind of reminds me of lush karma. warm and exotic but fresh in a way.

ugh. this one does NOT work on me. and it sounded so fascinating. :/ i think i can smell the leather and tonka, which are both notes i like, but perhaps the rosewood doesnt work on me. it's very strong on me, and when i first put it on there is a weird foody smell, but not sweet-foody, more like meat-foody- like some kind of non-dessert food cooking. which to say the least, is pretty gross. after awhile that aspect mostly disappears, but this scent gives me a headache. im disappointed because a lot of the notes in this are ones i like, but the rosewood or parchment must not work on my skin.

this is a sort of golden and musky aquatic scent on me. but smells like masculine commercial cologne on me, and burns my nostrils. so off to the swap pile r'lyeh goes.
-
in the imp i immediately smell the jasmine. my skin tends to amplify jasmine in scents as it is, so i wasnt sure how this would work on me. but on my skin the jasmine is this is less overpowering. yay! mostly i smell jasmine, vanilla and/or tonka and the coffee bean. this reminds me of something but i'm not sure what exactly. nevertheless it's a warm golden floral and is very pretty.
