Now Im leaning towards it being delivered to the wrong house/ stolen. That sucks soo bad!! I guess Tiki Princess and i were not ment to be. I didnt have insurance on it so i guess its just a straight loss?? You mentioned that CnS tracking showed that it was delivered "yesterday." I assume that you mean Saturday, but have you received your mail today? I'm asking because this has happened to me before and sometimes they mean delivered to the station or distribution point, but not to the end recipient. I would give it a day before I contact the USPS because mine turned out fine and it ended up being delivered to me the next day. Just for the record, I knew that it was not delivered to me that day because I know my carrier and I had been home and sitting near my porch all day........stalking my mailbox. hahaha sounds like something i would do. I wasnt home on sat because i was at a gaming convention. But my parents were there and they said no package. The mail did come today and all that was in it was the electric bill. =S I cant help but thinking that my crazy neighboors across the street took it. I hope they enjoy the wonderful coconut gift I have bestowed upon them lol Im going to head to the post office today and see it maybe someone returned something. I feel for you! I always get so nervous about getting packages especially when our mailman constantly gives us our neighbors mail! not just our next door neighbor but I've received stuff from neighbors a few streets down. Yeah our mail person is notorious for getting our street mixed up. on the plus side...I have the best boyfriend ever! He's getting me a new one

I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to put this but I received my CnS and I've been tracking my order. But it said my order was delivered yesterday and still no package. Should I just wait it out because maybe the post office is screwy or should I email the lab? I'm scared that the post guy sent it to the wrong house or someone stole it O.+ I don't live in a very good neigborhood. Any ideas would help tons thanks!

This is my first time participating in the chaos. I dont excatly know how trained my nose is so bare with me =) #332(The most full bpal i have ever recieved) Bottle: It was very very faint i only got faint traces of anything but im thinking it was leather. It reminded me of this one time I was rummaging through leather scraps at this fabric store. The smell almost made me sick. Not because it smelled bad though, because it reminded me of that day. (no air conditioning in phoenix + leather= Sick Surena)=/ wet on skin: I figured Beth is magic so i tried it on anyway and the scent really morphed. I think it belongs in the same scent family as the illustrated woman, but with added leather. So i tried on illustrated woman on my arm to make sure i wasnt insane. Nope, i was spot on. I got pine, smokey vanilla, and leather. Its really a cool scent. I think im going to let it age though and hope the initial leather of doom scent goes away. Though if this bottle were a general catalogue i think it would be quite popular Number 332 I now name you: Biker Chick

ciaobonefish- I totally thought of high strung daisies for you!! Its sweet, sugary and tons of fun! Its one of my signatures =D Banyangirl- I second dorian and maybe unveiled! Its a spicey peach tea on me. Beckie- Something with cinnamin jummped at me first. Like Chimera maybe? Also maybe Horruer Sympathique because it is a beautiful and complex smell. Diva Urd- I see miskatonic university working out for you. Its the smell of a late night study session =) No big university for me (at least not yet). Im looking at some conservatories in California though. I am an actor, makeup artist, and pin-up girl. Dont be fooled though im one of the biggest geek girls around. My favorite thing in the world is to make people laugh either with me or at me. Im not good at sports in fact im pretty accident proned but i do love dancing! I've been called cute,hyper, and chaotic. My favorite bands are:The killers,deathcab for cutie, rancid, and most boadway musicals. My favorite playwrights are Jean Paul Sartre,Neil Simon, William Shakespear, and Christopher Durang. Im a wierdo soo good luck =)

in the bottle: Yummy cake its creamy and sooo good! wet on skin: almost instantly the cake goodness goes away and is replaced by...SOCKS! yep dirty gross socks. wtf?! this has NEVER happend to me before Dry: ok this is the craziest scent ive ever used now its light cucumber. Its soo much better but im not 100 percent sure i love it. 20 minutes later: pooof gone. *sigh* I wanted to give it another try because the bottle art is soo friggin cute. AND im actually happy i did 4 days later everything decided to mesh better. The sock thing didnt happen this time and it turned into a creamy nice cucumber. Perfect for foodies and those who like fresher scents. I dont know how long it will stay on my skin but i dont think id mind at all re-applying this one. I think this is a scent that is only going to get better and better. =)

I have the same problem with those types of scents (everything goes really overpowering and it seems my least favorite note works its way to the top), though I find in general my skin is really finicky. I did. I made the hat with a buckram form and leftover fabric from the dress. (I wanted to make the buckram form, too, because the one i found locally was slightly off, but I ran out of time!) The theme doesnt match but its a PINK scent and for some reason it turns into a soft vanilla after awhile.

I had the opportunity to try this thanks to the lovely bheansidhe! In bottle: light and fruity...not sure what kind of fruits but fruity none the less. wet on skin: wow its like a cinnamon apple. dry: the spices really come out to party. this is SUCH a trigger scent. It reminds me of going to this annual christmas eve party that my parents friend threw. Ive been doing that ever since i was around 5 and this perfume smells like the candles they burned. It reminds me of running around with the other kids dragged there by their parents. Sneaking christmas cookies drinking cider, and trying to impress the boy you have a crush on while your mom is keeping a keen eye on you. not really loving it as a perfume but will keep it for the awesome memory...PS it has LOTS of throw

I was Dr. Girlfriend for Halloween last year, she is ridiculously fun to portray! I think "Liz" would be perfect for Dr. Girlfriend. (Unfortunately it doesn't work very well on me... Ugh.) Mostly vanilla and floral, but also leather and smoke. However, given her fashion choice, I could see her wearing a really classic fashionable perfume, like Chanel No 5, so something similar in the BPAL collection like Ozymandias might be a good choice. this is very true. Trouble is most "classic" perfumes dont like my skin. BUT its Bpal soo I could have way surprising results. i will look for an imp of both. =) By the way did you make your own costume? Hi all!! I am *hopfully* going to the phoenix comic con in May and I was wondering what scent would best fit my costume! I'm going to go as Dr. Girlfriend from venture bros! So I was thinking something pink and creamy...but with a tinge of masculenity* if you have seen the cartoon you will completly understand why. Haha! If you haven't seen the cartoon Dr. GF is a very attractive super villianess with an all pink lab coat dress, a matching pill box hat and a raspy man voice. She is wife to the villian called "The Monarch"-a skinny evil butterfly themed super villian.(My real life boyfriend is going to go as him). Looking forward to seeing what ya'll come up with based on my crazy description.

For me it depends what kind of club you are going to. At rocka-billy bars I like to wear something like the illustrated woman (because the theme fits AND its oh so yummy) For clubbing with the girls, where there's LOTS of bodies in one space I like to wear something that isn't too heavy. I looove the way Les Bijoux heats up! Salsa clubs maybe something like O, snake oil or Bad Luck Woman Blues. You can tell I go out a lot huh? Lol Hope I helped some!

Hello all!! Now that summer is aproaching I was trying to put together an imp pack that makes me feel like a hula dancer!! I thought def about pele but what else? I don't really want to smell like a beachy beverage but more like the care free island girl I feel like...although technically I'm Thai so maybe the carefree beach girl with flowers in her hair I am. I would love love love any scent recs you can give me.

I bought this in a swap and i am soo glad i did! It starts out like a big cup of peach tea. the dy down is pretty simular, but i do get a hint of more spices. But for the most part its light and lady-like. I do get a strange after smell with this one though but im thinking that its just my wierd hormones today.

Mmm tangerines...*drool*...oh where was I? This scent it really citrus in the bottle! on my skin it turns to a smooth creamy tangerine musk. Almost like a dreamsicle. This def makes me want to try more citrus blends! Im not entirely sure i need a bottle though(not a whole lot of bpal funds so i have to be really picky!) but I'll wear it for a few more days. who knows it may move to my NEED list!

THANKS for all the great replies!! So last night i decided to be brave and try snake oil again since i hear it gets better with age and lo and behold it's not dirty playdough!!! AND its pretty nice So im completly stoked now about trying the snake pits. and now Wulric. You guys rock.

Hello lovelies!! I had the fortune of trying some carnival scents through some lovely forumites and i think im hooked! my problem is that its soo big i dont know what to try next. So far my favorite has been the illustrated woman. i love the dry down stage how its creamy vanilla. I also enjoyed cytherea and faiza. I like foody scents too and was thinking about trying boomslang...but the snake oil scares me. I can only wear it after its set for a few months. my favorite scent list includes: Bastet Les Bijoux Enchanted Florist two five and seven All help would be MUCH MUCH MUCH appreciated

A very yummy spiced amber!! A royal and strong lion. Although i think this blend is a bit Man-ish for me. Thankfully the bf likes it and i think id really like him wearing it Also when the mood hits i can sneak some when i need the extra warm fuzzy feeling.

imp: yum cherries!! wet on skin: The wood and the cherries are fighting in a battle royal!! Come on cherries! dried:...*sniffle* the wood gave the cherries the "People's Elbow" then ran out of the ring for a chair, to bash the cherry in the head. leaving my skin smelling of pencil shavings.

imp: mmmm chocolate hazelnut *drools* on skin: holy smokes! this one doesnt really morph. It stays rich chocolate hazelnut yummyiness on my skin. My boyfriend though said it smelled like dirt though...but he isnt huge on chocolate like i am. After awhile it turns into a delish chocolate frosted cupcake...excuse me now while I go bake *rushes to kitchen*

In the bottle: Very sweet and flora, kinda fruityl. A bit sharp though Wet: lots of wet stems and grasses. Its like putting white flowers in an ice cold vase next to some fresh fruit. drying: uh oh it turns into a hair spray smell. a good smelling hair spray like from a higher end salon but still...perfumey... Overall: After the initial "what the heck?" stage, it turns VERY VERY VERY lovely!!!! Right now i think it is my fav floral so far. Im very glad i got a bottle of this. the hair spray thing only lasted a few minutes (thank god) or it just couldve been my wierd nose. Bottom line though, if you like sweet florals run, dont walk, for this one.

My first big purchase from the wonderful people at bpal was the scent Bastet. When i first smelled it i couldnt believe how warm and inviting it was. It smelled safe and nice...like a good hug. That got me thinking, what other scents smell like hugs? Or kisses Or just really give you big emotions? I know everyone is diffrent so i guess im more curious than anything

Yes!! that totally makes sense! I think that what i look for in a comforting scent too. Something that really surrounds me. foody is good for me too...considering i tend to be an emotional eater....id much rather smell like something warm and yummy...than to eat an entire Krispy Kreme out of business
