Raven Moon is very medicinal to me in the bottle ~ sort of cough syrupy/herbal lozenge kinda thing. It mellows on my skin, but in my scent locket if stays pretty much the same medicine like smell all day.

Roadhouse, Pa-Pow and my ulitmate Envy are the top outdoor/grassy/meadow scents that I've tried and loved. And as an added bonus Envy is a sleep aid to me.

This reminds me very much of one of my favourite LE's, Faunalia. It has that same fizzy, effervescent quality but only much sweeter. I don't get any dirt or leather just bubbly gingerale goodness with faint hints of blood and a very uinisex cologney vibe. I actually really like this and may have to get a big bottle OR just maybe layer Unfortuante Shopping Cart and Faunalia to get a similar effect.

Left His Nurse While In a Crowd

The lovely catseyes gave me a tester of this and I was beyond thrilled, being it was the one Inquisition scent I was bonkers to try. In the vial: pure chocolate goodness On my skin: The chocolate lingers for a moment before the lemony tea takes over. As it settles the chocolate disappears entirely and the cream in the tea strengthens with the fainstest hint of cake and berries in the background. I was hoping for more chocolate so while this scent is enjoyable, it's just not what I had hoped for. -
I'll echo the mention of Phobos. It's a very citrus start that fades to basically white musk. It's a new fav, actually.
-
In the frimp: faint mint, citrus and a bit of tingly ozoney On my skin: Dries to a light, faint, clean lemony scent ~ ultimately too much like a cleanser on my skin.

This is mainly pine mixed with CLOVE, giant shiney CLOVE that my skin actually eats until there is nada left but soapy spice.

This is love. On me it's a sweeter, softer and more spicy version of Raven Moon. My little decant will not be enough ~ I am definately going to have to track down a bottle.

Someone before mentioned Canada Dry Gingerale and that's it EXACTLY on my skin. Bubbly, tickly the back of your throat gingerale mixed with woods and greens and this amazing soft musk. GUH. This is even better than I what I was hoping it would be. Eventually the pine/forest smell leaves my skin and all that's left is this soft, fuzzy musk. I am soooo glad I bought a bottle and I may have to start tracking down a second one.

Sweet, pink and sugary ~ but still manages to be flirty without being too bubblegum. It's a fun, happy scent and will definately enjoy my imp. The only downfall is that it doesn't last at all on me.

In the decant: Plasticky and cold, cold enough to burn my nose On my skin: The cold is intense, a deep chill and thankfully the plastic has mostly dissapated. It's definately a strong herbal or eucalyptus. Once it dries an almost, sweet creamy floral comes out, still covered by winter frost. Overall, I like it. But even after more than a month the plasticky note is still there. I'm going to tuck my decant away and revisit this in the summer when I want to cool down.

Ladon is my most fav apple scent, it even trumps Lambs-wools spicey, cidery goodness. It's got a decent last and throw and I love that the Dragon's Blood is so subtle on me ~ the apples win overall. I did try Eve and like it, but the rose was too much for me. I gifted my frimp to a co-worker and she reported back that her BF is obsessed with it on her.

Of all my Yule decants I was most excited about Snow White. Everyone had raved about how amazing the previous years were. Unfortunately, all I get from smelling amy imp after applying to my skin is plastic. Plastic enough to give me a headache and want to immediately wash it off. It does have in the initial stages a slightly wintery scent (no coconut/vanilla at all) but is so overpowered by the plastic that it doesn't really matter. I'm going to keep my decant though and tuck it away for a few months and retest. *fingers crossed*

On me, Sin is very much the same as one of my fav layering combinations: Scherezade and The Lion. It's so similar in fact that the only difference I can detect to my nose is the faint hint of cinnamon. So naturally I adore this. Sin is warm, sultry heat ~ this is something you dab on all the places you want someone to lean in real close to get a whiff. This is going to be added to my need a bottle list.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
sarandipitee replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
My last order from the lab was paid for on the 4th of November and delivered on Dec. 14th. This time of year can be extra long at customs and Canada post (says the girl with 3 generations of family working for the post office). Good luck and I hope you all get your orders tomorrow! -
In the imp it smells very sharp, boozy and spicy. On my wrist it's all pot pourri and gives me a head ache. Thankfully it fades quickly. It's sad, I really enjoy spicy, boozy smells like Devil's Night, and I was hoping this would be a winner.

This one is very true to the lilac, and one of the few florals I can wear. The resin is more subtle, peeking from behind the perfect lilac (my favourite flower of all time) and lily. Towards the end it becomes an almost creamy, milky blend ~ but for me unfortunately, the scent fades within the hour. I will keep and use this imp because I love the smell on my skin and it's a floral that doesn't go soapy on me.

I love this scent. I've completely emptied out my frimp from a generous forumite in a few weeks time. Mainly because I use this most nights as a sleeping/relaxing aid. I've never really been into lavender before, but the combination of that mixed with the glorious, fresh, "feel like rolling out in the fields" green herbs is intoxicating. I get very little mint or lime, just a faint bite of something on top of the lavender and it's pure heaven. Simple, special and long-lasting on my skin. So very, very glad I purchased a bottle a few days ago.

Play-Doh (really STRONG play-doh) and sour baby powder is all I get from this one. And I had such high hopes!! Definately going to the swap pile.

I was nervous about this one, since I've never been a rose fan, but the description and character drew me in. Sadly, this one's not for me. In the imp, I get pale rose, sharp spice and something almost sweet underneath. Very good start. Wet: Sweet, sad roses, no spice and a dust on my skin. Dry: Soap. Just old lady soap. Verdict: I may try this one again, let it age a bit or since I've only had it dry about half an hour, see if it changes at all on my body. Still, glad I did try it out, now I know how my body likes a rose scent. Though anyone who does well with rose and wants something soft and delicate will love this.
