The clay note is very distinct as is the juniper and the olive wood. The blood kind of sweetens things up a bit. It's very unique and quite nice. I'd love to smell this one on an outdoorsy rugged type.

I like DBR, sandalwood but orris is usually a no go on my skin. This one is no different. Bit of a headache on the drydown. Basically dragons blood resin meets soapy floral. Orris lovers should give it a try though.

This is so so pretty. Spicy fig and hazelnut with this beautiful floral background, courtesy of the rice flower. It's such an interesting scent - almost juicy from the fig, with this subtle kick from the spices and softened by the rice flower. I really hope I'll be able to finally track down a bottle, but I'm so happy to at least have this little 1/2 decant. ❤️

This is quite pretty. Very foodie vanilla initially, but the sandalwood and patch help to temper the sweetness. On me it belongs in the same vein as Pediophobia (minus the part that caused my stomach to turn) and Zorya P. Feminine, floral, soft musk with some vanilla. Very happy to have tried but this on me is a little high pitched.

Fake suntan lotion meets coconut oil in a frying pain. Kinda bummed, but I really should just buy a bottle of Obatala which is awesome for my coconut needs.

I cannot stress how much rose hates me. I amp it to SN status EVERY effin time. This, and the GC Phantom are the exceptions. It's a tad soapy but the myrrh is still darn glorious, so IDGAF. Bottle worthy.

Praying the jasmine doesn't take over as the plum is DIVINE in the imp. Wet, it's still plum with some daffodil and orchid. The jasmine is starting to come through but so far it's manageable. This is so pretty. Plummy floral and actually kinda sexy - like Bordello with and Asian kick. This is super nice. I'll keep my imp and see how often I wear it in case I need to upgrade to a bottle.

Oh my gosh, I wish I had just bought a bottle of this when I had the chance. This is stunning, and the red musk scent I've dreamed of - one where the red musk doesn't overpower everything else in the blend. It's super super strong though - I might be able to get away with a decant or low partial. Oh who am I kidding? I need a bottle.

When wet, this is very similar on me to Phyillocrania Paradoxa v1 or Elf v4 - a light, dry vanilla blend. Sadly, it disappears quickly, and there's a bit of a plastic stage. After about 10 min there's not much left, rather dusty and dry faint smelling vanilla on my wrist. Very happy to have tried but kinda thankful this was a failure as I can knock off a rare from my potential wishlist.

I like this one. Honey, mead and blood are the notes I can pick out. It's a slightly powdery honey skin scent. I think I'm ok with just a decant, but I'll age it for a bit to see if I'll need more.

Smoky cassia and clove. Very even - one note doesn't overpower the other which makes sense as cassia and clove my skin likes to amp. It's a bit much for me, but I'm happy to have tried.

Sweet, dark coffee that poofs after a few moments. Then a dusty afterthought. Weird, but while it was wet it was nice.

I love the Lab's metal note (unfortunate shopping cart is amazeballs) and this one doesn't disappoint. It's a classic metal meets classic magazine sample page - you know, the ones advertising Gucci or DKNY or CK? You'd lift the tab and rub the scent all over your wrist. This is that scent. I'm keeping my decant for sure but I'll wait and see how fast I use it before committing to a full bottle.

I didn't like Alan McMichael but I adore this. I think this is the only bay rum note I've ever been able to wear. It's close to the skin and even though the rum and Amber are warm there's this cool, silvery vibe from the oudh. Shadow-like. Very happy to have a bottle. I wish that my other half liked perfume oil because I would love to snuggle up and smell this on his skin. Even though it's masculine I feel good wearing it.

Oh god this is chocolate heaven. Nice spices, smooth coffee and a litttle bit of smoke which is awesome as smoke can be headachey. The curry comes through and it's more of a tickle your nose spice vs an overall like curried takeout. The fruit is very faint in the background. I'm torn on ordering a bottle because drydown has none of the delicious chocolate. Instead it's all spice, with a bit of coffee and smoke. It's completely different from anything I've tried in the BPAL collection. I'm going to try my tester again in a few a days and see if the chocolate stays around more. Everyone needs to try this one, though. So unique.

I adored the original and the new version does not disappoint. Chocolate snake oil with a cool vibe (almost minty in feel like others have mentioned). Some teakwood coming through but no rice milk that I can identify. I really need to get a bottle because this one ages spectacularly.

Fall leaves and ambergris with a tiny hint of currant. Cologney and rather faint on my considering the type of notes. Pretty and powdery in the end. Happy to try but not for me.

This is very nice - smooth and sweet resins and musk. I didn't upgrade to a bottle because of lack of funds and I'm happy I did pass (only a little though, this is quite nice). I have so many resin heavy blends that outshine Ill Omens a bit more because they lack the red musk element which ends up overpowering everything into single note territory. I'll for sure keep the decant and try it out in my clocket to see if I can pick apart the notes more.

This just happened to a shared order myself and another forumite had last week. I had my Canada Post employee family member check on it and all was fine. Also, the alert notification was only on the USPS site, not Canada Post's. Basically I was told it had something to do with the information on the package not being entered into the system properly at time of shipment. My fam member thought it was likely customs double checking or requesting said info before they put it into Canada Post's hands. Literally cleared customs the next day. So I wouldn't worry.

This is so lovely. I actually prefer it to the 2017 oil release which goes a wee bit doll's head on my skin. There's definitely more vanilla in here than in the oil and while it starts off faint and wispy like, it grows with wear. To me it smells better the next morning after use. When I wake up and catch a whiff of something yummy and realize it's my hair. Very happy to have a bottle and know it will get heavy use.

Salty snake oil, perfect for Summer and the beach. I get very little nuts, and nothing like Mouse Circus (which was straight up plastic on me, so I really can't compare them). The salt does lean to the aquatic side, but I like it. I don't think I'll need a bottle but a full decant to age will be great as this one will be so good in a few years.

mmmm, cola sweet resins and a touch vetiver and some cedarwood (thankfully as cedar is usually pencil shavings on me). The tangerine is so subtle, that the cola note I find some resins to be could almost be orange crush. BOTTLE ME UP SCOTTY. Guh, this is awesome, as long as the damn cedar behaves, which it SO FAR seems to be doing but that cedar is an asshole. Can't trust him.

Dried roses, rose leaf, Spanish moss, oakmoss and deep brown earth. I don't know how to feel about this one. I don't enjoy any dirt or earth not - feels very jarring and unnerving to me (unless it was mixed with like, tomato leaf or something that reminds me of digging in the garden). And rose is in my top 3 worst notes list because it just screeches over EVERYTHING. But oakmoss is my jam. So I dunno - there's potential here but I think I'll just pass this on as frimp because it looks to be pretty popular and someone else will love it more (and appreciate the dirt).

Like it's name, this one is pretty viciousin the imp. When wet It's a dark vetiver and deep dragons blood which is doing that weird thing and going super floral, so it smells like smoky lilacs on my skin. Red musk normally is right there at the forefront but both vetiver and DB are pretty long lasting on my skin so it's still faint. Even the cinnamon is barely detectable. To me it's almost like a cinnamon bark since it's so entwined with the vetiver. It starts to mellow after about 20 min and it gets gooood. Like an older brother to Chimera. I think I need a bottle to age because this stuff in 5 years will be so so good.

Fuzzy peach candies when wet but turns much more grownup on dry down. A perfume peachy blend. I kind of liked it, especially for summer. I'll have to test it again to be sure but this might need a bottle upgrade.
