To me, this one smells like luxurious and softly scented, gardenia and rose soap with soft peach.
-
I get the sage and also a green leafy scent which must be the ti leaf, slight fruitiness, patchouli and soft amber. This one started out strong on the patchouli but it settled down after a short while, the sage amps with time. Not something I would wear but I find it very interesting.

Initially I get a soft, nutty lavender and bergamot blend, which actually smells much nicer than I'd imagined they'd would together, it's a very interesting scent. The tonka really starts amping after a few minutes and the blend settles into a creamy, nutty, sweet soft, herbal and citrusy scent. At times it makes me think of Earl Grey with milk. I actually find it reminiscent of Sudha Segara.

This is starts off as a very juicy, unique scent. I get sweet mango, which actually smells like mango candy to me, it's a little artificial, the tomato leaf is present (I'm really surprised I like this in a perfume) and keeps the blend from getting too sweet, the fig is soft and well-blended, the red musk is barely there but I occasionally get whiffs of it the background. After a little while it gets sweeter and slightly sharp on me (I think the mango is winning out). The blend ends up reminding me of mango Hi-Chew.

This one's a morpher one me. Initially, I get bright tangerines, "O"-type honey and white musk. The blend goes powdery shortly after and the tagetes amp (and get slightly sharp for bit). After that, it's soft, powdery, musky honey, soft tangerine (but it has lost most of it's initial brightness) and tagetes. It finally settles into a powdery floral.

This is mainly a dusty orris and soft, sweet coconut scent on me, I get hints of cherry blossom once in a while. It reminds me of a sweeter, softer Black Pearl. I had high hopes for this one, but though it's a pretty scent, the orris is just too strong for my tastes.
-
Strong jasmine and slightly softer gardenia and ylang ylang. This reminds me of the florals in biggerCritters, I think it might be the same type of jasmine.
-
At first I get lime peel, spiciness, orange blossom, cedar and musk. As it settles I also start to get a soft, spicy, almost peppery carnation scent? I find this one a complex, slightly citrusy, resiny and spicy musk.
-
This is a mainly oakmoss, blood orange and dark patchouli on me.
-
This is a dark scent on me! At first I get resins, dark figs, green tea (which is tart and citrusy) and dark, but not gritty, vetiver. It settles into a earthy dark fig, green tea and vetiver scent that's a little smokey, bitter and slightly astringent on my skin. ETA: This one didn't last very long on my skin.

I mainly get florals (mostly orchid), musk, plum and grapefruit from this one. It settles into a well-blended and heady floral musk, with hints of fruit. This one strongly reminds me of some oriental floral perfumes you find in dept. stores.
-
2011: I get a spicy, clovey scent (it might be the combination of the notes?), strong smokey resins, and a bit of olive blossom. After a short while I start getting the blood accord, which usually works really well on me.

This starts off as a sexy red musk, patchouli and champaca blend. The red musk here has a sweet, slightly fruity, almost juicy quality on me. As it dries I start to get some gardenia, but the red musk and champaca are still the main players. I find this a sexy, sultry blend that's also a little young and playful.
-
2011: The resins in here are almost medicinal on me at first, the white rose softens them slightly. It settles into equal parts resins (still a bit harsh) and white rose.

At first I get sweet fresh water and soft hints of resins, as it dries the rose and a bit of amber start to amp. It settles into a fresh, watery rose, with soft olibanum and hints of amber.

2011: I found this version much stronger on the osmanthus and lily, whereas the 2007 was stronger on the frankincense and white musk (I hardly got any florals). This has a tart, kind of apricot fruity scent on me, I'm guessing it's the osmanthus, the lily blends with the osmanthus and create this tart fruity/floral scent, the frankincense peeks through and I start getting some white musk, but I find it a bit too cloying in here.

2011: I've tried previous versions of Red Lantern and remember it being way too heavy for me and the lab's caramel just doesn't work on me, this version is pretty much the same as I remember but perhaps even heavier, probably due to the fact that it's fresh. I mainly get a strong boozey, heady caramel and tobacco blend, with soft, dark coconut and amber in the background.

2011: I find this pretty much the same sensual floral as the previous versions. Mostly champaca flower, sandalwood and date palm, with honey and vanilla, which help sweeten up the blend and give it a slight creaminess. I get soft hints of rose and tuberose after a short while. Heady, lush, a little smokey and sweet with an almost boozy feel.

I get sweet(almost juicy) fruits, strong coconut, soft florals and some green musk in the background. I think this will make a wonderful summer blend.
-
This is a very nice, simple, fresh tea blend. I get white tea, lemon verbena (which starts amping almost immediately), and soft honeycomb (but there's hardly any sweetness). It somewhat reminds me of Spirits of the Dead, but tarter and papyrus-less.
-
Wet, I get grains, lemongrass and honey. It quickly settles into a a really nice lemony honey tea with ginger.
-
In the decant this smelled like tobacco to me. On my skin I still get an almost harsh smokey tobacco scent (smells slightly ashy), soft vetiver, woods (I think cedar), and hints of rose, honey and vanilla that soften it up just slightly.
-
I get a lot of sweet rum, woods and vetiver. After a short while I also start getting some soft musk.

I get strong mahogany and a hint of apple. -
This starts off as fizzy gin and slightly cloying white chocolate. However, it settles into a lovely, sweet, creamy, soft, fizzy scent. I think this may be the winner among this year's chocolate scents for me.
