#216: Maple syrup. I swear to god, that is maple syrup in there. Must not spread this on pancakes. On my skin, vanilla maple syrup. Oh god, yum. Barring any freaky changes, this one will probably be a keeper. Vanilla syrup, and pending a full skin test, probably a keeper. #76: Spicy, with a possible booze note? Not quite sure. Bakeryish, that's for sure. On my skin, spicy and boozy. Hmm. I'm liking this. Dries down to spicy vanilla bakery booze, going onto a second skin test. There's definitely a spicy nutty vanilla bakery booze scent to this on the second skin test, and I don't think it's quite for me. #187: Some kind of floral predominant, can't quite pin it. On my skin, some kind of watery floral, not that much vanilla. Oceany note, too. We'll see what this does. I think this might be water lily/vanilla, can't pin it exactly. Not my favorite. #5: Vanilla citrus? I'm not quite sure. On my skin, it's vanilla and almond? We'll see where this goes. Vanillay almond, not quite for me.

Testing this prior to starting decanting. In the bottle, I'm getting opium, amber, and frankincense, I think. On my skin, it's primarily those three notes, we'll see if it does anything else. Ends up being opium and frankincense, not quite for me, sadly.

In the vial, I'm getting bourbon blackberry and the red velvet cake. Mmm. On my skin, I'm getting the red velvet and bourbon, not so much the blackberry, though it's there underneath. We'll see what this does. Liking what it's doing, going onto a second skin test after work and a possible comparison to Cake Smash.

All of the Metamorphoses, apologies if they're a bit blurry: user posted image Monarch, Luna, Common Jezebel, Gypsy user posted image Spicebrush Swallowtail, Paper Kite, Rosy Maple, Great Grey Witch

In the imp, I'm getting a strong purple floralish note, and what's either chocolate, wood, or dirt, could be all three. On my skin, I'm getting an almost cherry floral note with an underhint of woody chocolate, like in really aged Boomslang. We'll see how this goes, as this is my second full skin test. Ends up being a cherry-purple floral with chocolate wood lying underneath, think I'll be adding this to my need bottle list shortly.

I'm getting magnolia and frankincense and a bit of iris out of the tester. We'll see how this goes, but not optimistic. Ends up being mostly frankincense, not quite for me, sadly.

Pomegranate booze for sure in the imp. However, on my skin? Dryer sheets. oO I take that back, the pomegranate comes out, but I think the juniper or the gin in the martini is making this reminiscent of dryer sheets on my skin, for whatever reason. Not quite for me.

The same sea note that I got in Egle and a hint of cream in the imp. On my skin, sea and milk, and the latter's not going funky. Hrm. We'll see how this goes! On the second skin test, I'm getting that lovely sea and cream note, not as cologney as in other aquatics I've tried. Barring any sudden turns, this is probably going to be a keeper.

In the imp, I'm getting the same pink musk that was in LoliGoth, very strong. On my skin, it's that same strong pink musk with added skin musk with the white amber coming out? We'll see what this does.

In the decant, I'm getting iris, magnolia, and red musk. Mmm. On my skin, it's the same. Hoping this one doesn't do anything funky so I can take it to a second skin test. On the second skin test, I'm getting more the magnolia and red musk, and I think the mimosa and vanilla bean too. Really sultry scent. Definitely a keeper and a bottle need.

In the decant, I'm getting the caramel, the cream, and the white honey. On my skin, this turns into caramel, honey, and apple, absolutely delectable. May be going onto a second skin test. On the second full skin test, I'm getting a bit more of the wood in addition to the caramel/honey/apple, but it's still doing well. Yep, this girl's a keeper.
-
In the decant, I'm getting salt and cologne; don't have high hopes for this. On my skin, it's the same salty cologne that I got with Calico Jack. We'll see if this changes at all. No change, and not quite for me, sadly.

The last of the three Metamorphoses that are going onto skin tests for me; this was sassafrass on me mellowed and sweetened by the brown sugar, just absolutely gorgeous. The plum never quite showed up on me, but I am completely fine with that. Again, going onto a full skin test for me, prolly a keeper. On the skin test, I get a bit more of the plum under the sassafrass at first, but it still ends up being a lovely sassafrass/brown sugar scent, definitely going to be one of my keepers.

This is one of the three blends of the Metamorphosis that ended up moving onto a full skin test for me, which I'll hopefully be doing later on. This was all acai and huckleberry and candyfloss with a bit of the vanilla bean and sugar underneath, just absolutely juicy and delectable. Going onto a second skin test tomorrow, and will probably end up being a keeper. Ends up being even more lovely on the full skin test, and a definite keeper.

This was my first brush with pumpkin, and an interesting one at that. This was all ginger and what I'm going to assume is pumpkin on me at first, but the mandarin came in and made this really watery, so it didn't quite fly on me. But if the buttery fruit that I'm getting is pumpkin, then color me mildly intrigued as to other pumpkin blends.

In the decant, I'm getting red currant, moss, and patchouli. On my skin, I'm getting red currant, molasses, and patchouli. We'll see how this goes. Ends up being red currant with moss and patchouli, not for me.
-
In the decant, I'm getting almost single-note orange blossom. This will probably not turn out well. On my skin, yep, that's orange blossom. Fades quick, not for me.
-
In the decant, I think I'm getting orange and vanilla first and foremost. On my skin, it's that same vanilla orange floral. Hrm. Ends up being a vaguely spicy, creamy orange scent. Going to give it a second round of testing. On the full skin test, get the orange and cream again, but it's going a little funky, which I think might be the geranium and lavender finally asserting themselves. Don't think I'll be keeping this one.
-
In the decant, I'm getting sugary citrus and rum, a really nice scent. Once on my skin, I'm getting everything - cookies, rum, tobacco, and lime. Hmm. We'll see how this decides to play with my skin chemistry. The lime disappears quickly, happily, and the resulting cookie-rum-hint-of-tobacco makes me like it enough that I want to give it a full skin test.

I'm getting lavender amber, osthmanthus, and jasmine tea. Betting that the lavender will kill this in five minutes or less. On my skin, it's lavender and the tea, we'll see what this does. ...And yip, the lavender takes this to almost nothing, but I like the really faint scent that I get if I huff my wrist for the better part of five minutes. So, yeah, if lavender is one of your death notes, stay away from this.

Smells very similar to Inganok Jewellers to me, stone, and a sweeter sort of incense. On my skin, it's very much stone and incense.
-
In the bottle, for me, this is really reminiscent of Zadok Allen Vineyard - a really dark wine with all sorts of neat notes popping out. On my skin, it's Zadok Allen again, but with more emphasis on the woods, and a bit of a cologney note, too. Gold oil, again. Ends up being mostly woods and cologne on me. Definitely not for me. (And I spilled about two imps of this, damnit, so now I have to get the smell off everything.)
-
In the bottle (artwork on this is BEAUTIFUL, btw), I'm getting rose-tinged opium. On my skin, it's ROSE, with opium underneath. Damnit. Had a feeling this wouldn't work out well... (in fact, I have a feeling this entire line is going to haet me, sadly). Oil itself is a beautiful gold color, though.
-
Dark and spicy for me, very mannish, but not quite as good as Xmlvzencab or Snake Oil; will use up the rest of the slice, but won't be going for a full bar. The salt's definitely unique, and some of the salt crystals may come off on you when you're using this, so be sure to rinse thoroughly.

Straight up red currant and honey, and absolutely delicious on my skin. Definitely need to find more.
