Definitely an initial violet, with a sharpness from the chrysanthemums, and the wisteria and delphinium lending a lighter edge to this. On my skin, it's seeming to be violets and chrysanthemums at first, we'll see if the wisteria and delphinium come out at all. Ends up being a nice, light floral, going to give it a further skin test. On the full skin test, I'm getting an icy violet and wisteria, with chrysanthemums and delphinium supporting. Looking like another bottle. A nice, subtle, unusual floral, definitely going on my bottle list.

In the imp, this is a very strong citrus floral, I'm getting the lemon and the orange blossom first and foremost. On my skin, it's pretty much those two notes, and they're amping to become either cleaning solution or Fruit Loops, one of the two. We'll see if it mellows out at all. Well, it does end up mellowing out... to nothing. Hurm. Not quite for me.

I got an empty of this in a recent order with just enough to be able to do a skin test. In the bottle, I think I'm getting a fur sort of note, with an aquatic note (the black froth?) and a stone note. On my skin, it's an odd combination of that fur, aquatic and stone notes. We'll see waht this does, but I'm not having an initial good feeling about this. Ends up being this furry stone ozone, a really funky scent on me that's really sour. Not for me.

In the imp, I'm getting dragon's blood and smoke, not so sure my nose is picking up the leather. On my skin, I'm getting the same, first and foremost. Hmm, we'll see if the leather comes out at all. Not getting leather right this second, but this is good enough initially that this is gonna get a wider skin test in the near future. For the full skin test, the leather and the smoke comes out more, with the dragon's blood mingling in. Definitely going to be a bottle.

In the imp, I'm getting a really dark fruity sort of scent, kinda similar to Fruit of Paradise. Iiiinteresting. On my skin, I'm definitely getting a fruity scent... grapefruit? Hurm. And definitely a salty edge. We'll see what happens here. Like Calico Jack, not sure what to think of this, so it's getting a wider skin test. On the full skin test, I'm getting that darker fruit with an edge of salt and sea weed. Hrm. We'll see how it goes. Ends up being very similar to Selkie, except stronger on the salt and whatever kind of fruit that is, not really for me. Salty shampoo, basically.

In the imp, I'm getting fruits and skin musk and honey with a bit of frankincense, really appealing. On my skin, it's peach and honey and apple and skin musk, like Flora and Josie from the District had a lovechild. Mmm. If this keeps it up, it may be a bottle purchase. Definitely going to a second full skin test, especially with the skin musk, honey, and fruits. Full skin tests confirms that this is the love child of Flora and Josie from the District, except without Flora's shampoo-ness, lovely skin musk and honey and fruits, and definitely worth getting a bottle of.

In the imp, I'm getting a definite sea-scented cologne. We'll see if we get any of the rest of it. On my skin, it's a definite sea scent, all the rest of it isn't showing up just yet, though the leather is slowly showing. We'll wait it out a bit and see if anything else shows up. Not entirely sure what to think of this atm, going to give it a full skin test to be able to do its thing. On my skin, this is definitely a seaish scent, salt water, we'll see if the leather and spices show. Still unsure. Going to let this sit a few weeks and come back to it.

In the bottle, I'm getting an odd combination of the black raspberry, apricot cordial, and the white chocolate (which is really dusty). We'll see if it behaves on my skin. On my skin, it's pretty much black raspberry and apricot, going almost lip gloss flavory or medicinal. Erm. Ends up smelling like this odd chocolate fruit lip gloss that I had when I was really young. Not quite for me, sadly.

In the tester, this is really reminding me of the Proserpina bath oil; an icy fruit note and florals with a bit of musk. On my skin, I'm definitely getting the pine amping over the icy plum and florals and musk. We'll see if the pine settles a bit. But yeah, like L'Estate, this is definitely really evocative of winter for me. Ends up being very similar to Proserpina for me, and I feel like the bath oil will get more mileage for me, especially since it doesn't have the pine note that dominates L'Inverno for most of its drydown.

...Oh my. In my tester, I'm getting the sweet lovechild of L'Estate and The Girl; golden vanilla musk. UNF. On my skin, I'm getting a spicier scent, which I think is the tiare, tagetes, and cardamom combining. ...I may be damning my skin chemistry for this if it keeps up the way it is. Goddamnit, spicy floral, pretty similar to Okayaki, argh argh argh argh argh what happened to the L'Estate and The Girl love child I was getting prior?! Not for me, but at least I dodged this bullet.

Getting an odd combination of what I'm sure is the olive blossom and the cardamom in the tester. Hrm. On my skin, I'm getting olive blossom, lily, cardamom, and the citrus note from the bergamont? We'll see where this goes. Ends up being pretty straight forward citrus-lily-olive blossom-cardamom on me, not quite what I was looking for in this.

Got this as a frimp from myth in a package I got earlier today; thanks again! In the decant, this is really sharp citrus and minty, very much a kick to the face. On my skin, it's very much citrusy soap with the mint kicking it up. ...And now it's nothing, which I will attribute to the lavender. Wow, less than thirty seconds, that's got to be a new record. Stupid lavender. My skin, it goes nom nom nom on the lavender.

Did you order via PayPal? Because your order may have been caught in the whole they didn't have an email to connect with it b/c PayPal are morons, so it already may be on its way b/c they weren't able to give you a CnS. (Also, have my decants made it to you yet?)

'10 Blend v. '08 Blend So, I'm going with the '10 blend on one arm, and the '08 blend on the other. The '10 blend, in the decant, is a bit heavier on the sugar. On my skin, it's the same musky boozy scent I get at first with the '08 blend. The '10 blend seems a lot sharper than the '08 blend at first, but they both become sweeter and boozier. Oh, I'm thinking I'm definitely going to need two bottles; one to use straight away, and one to age.

In the decant, I'm getting a combination of florals and a sharper sort of honey. Hrm. On my skin, it's pretty much florals. We'll see how this goes. Light, springy floral, not anything I'm particularly interested in.

In teh decant, this smells like citrus, florals, and frankincense. Hrm. We'll see how this goes. On my skin, it's a sharper floral and incense. Not promising so far... Ends up fading to a powdery citrus incense. Ehh.

In the imp, this is a creamy, sharper floral... and, like Penis Admiration, this is very similar smelling to a dildo. Beth seems to have a knack for that with this update. On my skin, I'm definitely getting the violet leaf and the orris and the narcissus, but not so much the vanilla. We'll see what hapens. Ends up being a light floral on me, quite similar to Eos, which I was wearing earlier today, the vanilla shows up to make it a bit creamier, but never makes a huge appearance. Gonna pass on this.

In the bottle, I'm getting blackberry and sour milk and ozone, a really off-putting scent. Think this one is going to be a light application. On my skin, it's really sour blackberry and milk, and curdling like Milk Moon did for me. Oh no. I'll keep this on a bit, but I've got a really bad feeling about this. Well, it curdles on me and goes to nothing, which I'll consider a small blessing. Going to decant the imp I have of this in the bottle out but keep the empty, as the artwork on this is gorgeous.

Got a decant of this from fairynymph, can't wait to try it out. In the decant, I'm smelling a very soft, gentle feminine scent, can't pin down the notes, thinking sugared vanilla. (How did they get violet and lavender out of this?) On my skin, it's a wonderful sugared vanilla with the leather coming out. Oh god. This may be just as good as Liz, if not better.

This blend sounds like the anti-me, just even looking at the description. We'll see how this goes. In the imp, this is a very dark, foresty scent. On my skin, the dirt aspect amps. Just... no, no, need to get this off.

In the imp, I'm getting patchouli and florals, very sharp. Light application. On my skin, again, very sharp florals and patchouli. Ergh. Need to get this off.

In the imp, this smells like a creamy, green floral. We'll see how this goes. On my skin, I'm getting I think the stephaniosis and the rose, a very pale, light floral. Hrm. Nothing special, not much change.

On my skin, I'm getting the sandal and blonde wood, with the dragon's blood playing a minor role. We'll see how this goes. Ends up being pale, dry, and woody. Not something I'm really interested in.

In the imp, I'm getting the sweetness of the lotus, with the lily and the rose, and I think a watery aspect with the water blossom ivy On my skin, it's still very much that sweet lotus mixed with rose and lily. Hrm. We'll see how this turns out. It all combines to form a really sharp aquatic floral that really doesn't appeal to me, going to pass on this.
