In the decant, I'm getting chocolate and some spices that are reminiscent of Oya. And given that Oya didn't work that well on me, I'm kind of ehh. On me, this 13 is a ginger Oya, thus far. Not really sure what to think. It's turning into this amazingly nommy spicy scent, now, as it dries, which is a combo of the chocolate and dark sugar, I'm thinking, so another DISO it is.

Definitely getting the dark chocolate aspect of this in the decant, the rest of it, not so much. On my skin, it's dark chocolate with... something else, not quite sure what just yet. Went to class shortly after writing it, was in seminar room, whole room could smell it and said it smelled like incense, which is pretty accurate. Ends up as more of a soapy scent for me. Not really for me. Swaps.

A really cool, aquatic scent in the decant; think I'm getting melon or cucumber or both, similar to a Bath and Body World scent I tried when I was younger. On my skin, it's pretty much the same, with an edge of honey. Not really sure what to think about this one, am probably going to be testing it further. EDIT: The combination ends up taking it far too close to shampoo, like Flora. Going to pass it on, but I'm glad to have tried it.

In the decant, I'm getting what is a sweet, dark, fruity scent, really similar to what Bloody Mary was in the bottle. Once on my skin, I'm getting what I think is a floral dragon's blood with a wine undertone, with a bit of almond. Really, really good. Going to the DISOs, now.

I Fell in Love with a Floating Brain

In the decant, I get a scent similar to that I did with Huesos de Santo; cake, with a bit of a citrus hint. Once on my skin, it's an amazing mix of cake, carnation, and strawberry/white grapefruit; what I wanted Huesos de Santo to be. Oh, nom. And more DISOs, away! -
In the decant, I'm getting orange cream with a kick that I think is the anise. Once it's on my skin, I get an orange cake sort of scent, with the orange quickly dominating. The orange is a bit astringent on me, and sadly, the cake/cream aspect gets completely drowned. Swaps.

In the decant, I get dark chocolate cake and cherry. On my skin, the dark chocolate amps to a powdery point, and the cherry's barely there at all. As it's drying, it seems to be a chocolate-cherry cake. Probably going to test this one a bit more before I decide whether or not to keep it, but gut's telling me I may. EDIT: On further testing, I want to eat my wrists. A definite keeper.

I'm really looking forward to testing this one, as it's my first Luprecalia scent, and hey, vulva. In the decant, I'm smelling a really sweet floral with a hint of what I think is the copal. On my skin, it's a really interestingly blended scent; I think I'm getting the copal mixed with the skin musk, and the sweetness of the honey, beeswax, and vanilla flower. It's turning into a more tangy floral musk on me, and something I definitely need to find a bottle of. ...Damnit, DISO, away!

In the decant, I get cherries, other sorts of red fruit, and what's either the cream or the powdered sugar; either way, really, really good. Once on my skin, Bloody Mary takes a blend between red fruits and a spicy sort of cake, a darkly sweet sort of scent. And really, really good. ...Damnit. I'm going to have to DISO this too, aren't I?

Got this as a frimp recently. In the imp, I get fruity-floral with a hint of herbs. Once on me, Himerus is a fruity-floral with a strong dash of herbs and the sandalwood. Hmm. The juniper and the sandalwood seems to be dominating the most here, with the florals trying to make a break for it. Eh. Not really for me.

Got this as a frimp, recently. In the imp, it's a really vague, herbal mix with maybe fruit in there somewhere? Not sure I can pin down anything. On me, Oya is a smoky herbal scent, vaguely reminiscent of how Mircalla was on me, and remembering what a kick that was to me and my skin, I'm keeping an eye on my wrists. Happily, it doesn't cause my wrists to go bright red like Mircalla did, but it's pretty much a dry, smoky herbal scent. Not really for me.

Out of all the District scents, this is the one I want to work on me the most badly. In the decant, this smells like chocolate-covered fruits, with a touch of ginger. Oh god, it's amazing, and please, please, let her work on my skin... On my skin, she's an amazing combination of chocolate, the amaretto, and the ginger combined with the fruits, and I just want to roll around in her, like hackness up there. Mmm, god. Oh, pretty Lady, I'll definitely take you home and then some. Bottle.

Okay, so, so far the District's been bombing on me horribly. But this is three notes: honey, peaches, magnolia. No way this can go wrong, right? In the decant, I'm definitely getting a combination of honey, peaches and magnolia; it combines to form an almost peach schnapps scent (and I love peach schnapps). And it's the same on my skin; an absolutely amazing combination of peach and honey and magnolia, really lush, really sweet. YES. This is definitely going to end up being a bottle; it's a bit too bright for the fall season right now, but mid-winter, spring, summer, oh yes.

Just got my decant of this in from a swap; really, really eager to test it out, and I'm currently hoping to god it works on me. In the decant, I'm getting smoky floral leather, not so much the vanilla. Once on my skin, it's predominantly leather, so far, with a vague hint of florals and maybe vanilla and smoke. Oh, wow. This may be the most amazing leather scent on me to date. And later the vanilla starts to come out as well, mixing this and making this absolutely gorgeous. Yeah, this is definitely going to be a bottle. I'd had this as something to put on my next big order, but I'm still glad I got a decant to be absolutely sure. Also. I put this on at about... 1 in the afternoon, a medium application from the decant. It was still there around 11 PM. This is the longest a BPAL scent has ever lasted on me.

Got this as a decant in a recent order from a very generous LJer. In the decant, I'm getting the jasmine and what's either the patchouli/vetiver or the cocoa absolute. On my skin, I'm getting what smells like the pathcouli and vetiver first and foremost, unfortunately, as those are my Notes of Death . The florals are trying to make a fight for it, and the orange and spices are trying to come up too, but it's just not that good on me. And, looking above, there will probably be someone who wants it, so I'll put it up for swap/sale.

LXXV I got frimped this in an order by an amazingly generous LJer. I'm eager to see how this turns out, as this is my first experience with the Chaos Theory series. In the decant, it looks like SO, and I think I'm getting... lemon? Marigold? It's a really sharp sort of smell, plays off the medicinalness that I get with SO in the imp. On my skin, I'm getting a sharper, greener scent, like the stem of a flower fresh after you pick it, almost borderline cologne. It keeps morphing between that greenish scent and cologne on me; not a lot of SO here. I think I'm going to put this up for swap, as there's probably someone who'll want this more.

Got a sniffle of this in an order that I just got, with just enough for a thumb test. In the decant, I'm getting what I think is baby powder and honey. On my skin, it's a creamy honey with baby powder, and I really like it, just even having it on in the first few minutes. Might have to try and find a 5mL of this.

In the bottle, this smells really, really warm; desert, incense, maybe a bit of patchouli? On my skin, it's this really deep, hot scent; it reminds me of a temple in the desert somewhere. Not really sure what I think of it just yet. It drops from a stronger scent down to a lighter version of the scent as it dries and stays really, really close to my skin. It's starting to edge towards really really dominating woods and doctor's office, which worries me... Unfortunately, there's woods and incense in this that seems to dominate pretty strongly, and it's not quite what I'm looking for in a scent. There'll be someone who can better love this out there; to the swaps.

For Thanksgiving, I'm definitely going to be wearing Lambs-Wool. Christmas, not so sure just yet. New Year's is probably going to be Bon Vivant.
-
In the imp, I get really strong rose, with what I'm pretty sure has to be the narcissus. This should be interesting. On my skin, it's a balancing act between the rose and the narcissus, and it's a pretty interesting floral. Not quite sure how to feel about it just yet. It ends up being pretty straight up rose with narcissus underneath; a solid enough scent, but nothing I'll need more than an imp of.

This smells amazing in the decant. I'm getting this golden sort of musk with what is either the sunflowers or the myrtle; this is smelling like summer in a decant. On my skin, the musk and amber comes out a bit more, with the sunflower and myrtle coming forward. It's still this amazingly beautiful golden scent, and yeah, this pretty much confirms that I need a bottle of this, like I thought I would. They got the summer concept straight on with this, and with winter coming, I may need this to battle winter gloom.
-
Lambs-Wool for most of today, which has mainly consisted of a funeral and Rocky Horror.

Apologies for necro-bump. Would the same method apply if the address I normally give would be my campus address, and, if I get a CnS after a certain point, I'll be at a home address for winter break until another certain point at which the normal shipping address would be the one to send to? (@.@)

On my skin, this bath oil is a beautiful blend of vanilla, fig, neroli, and just a hint of pine and vetiver. I might actually like this better than the perfume blend. oO Gonna wait for this to dry and then try and layer it with the perfume oil. Definitely keeping the bath oil, though.

Frankincense, olive leaf, champaca, beeswax, amber, and bay myrtle. I get a really sharp scent out of this, which I'm betting is everything except the beeswax and amber. And, to be honest, I don't really want my room to smell like this. To the swaps/sales.
