In the imp, I get ROSE. Same wet on my skin. Maybe the cinnamon will come out a bit more when it's dry? Nope, it's pretty much straight-up rose; however, I think I can layer this with Saw-Scaled Viper to bring out the cinnamon in the blend and balance the rose.

In the imp, this smells like CINNAMON. And, on my skin, wet, that's what dominates thus far. And through the drydown. Cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon. It'll be good to wear here and there, but it's not anything I need a bottle of.

The bottle of this came just yesterday; I get this nice spice in the bottle, which might be the incense and the cologne. I get that same sort of spice wet on my skin, which I'm going to say is a combination of the incense and the cologne. The old book paper sort of scent is an undertone at this stage, and I'm starting to think that my skin eats booze flavors. This smells like spicy cologne with a hint of incense and dry books on me; the booze is getting eaten by my skin, I think. It's a really solid scent, and I'm definitely interested to see how this ages; I have a feeling it's going to turn out even more amazing than it is now.

Got this as a tester in a recent swap. ...I think this is bottle material, just from the tester. Dark chocolate with what might be the milk balancing out, and then spicy wood. Oh, god, yum. ADDED Oct. 18: Got a decant of this, eager to test it, as it smelled so good in the tester I got. In the decant, which has been aged about a year, I get a spicy, woody chocolate sort of scent, really delicious. On my skin, it's a mix of dark chocolate and Snake Oil, and oh god so good, with just a hint of wood. Bottle. No questions asked.

Got this as a tester in a recent swap. I'm getting a milky scent in the imp, along with sweetness and what I think is tea. Again, I think I'm going to go with an imp to test it further.

Got this as a sniffy in a recent swap. In the vial, I get berries and a deeper floral/spice undertone. Again, think I'm going to have to imp this to test it further. EDIT: Got a frimp of this today, eager to test it out. In the imp, I'm getting berries mixed with flowers. Eager to see what it decides to do on my skin. This is absolutely amazing on my skin. The plum and berries are deepened by the opium, with the lilac, gardenia, and roses lurking underneath. Not even at the drydown yet, and I know this needs to be a bottle. Drydown is still that lovely berry/plum with florals and the deeper opium. Such an amazing scent. Additionally, Diabolus seems to be my best category.

Got this as a free smelly in a recent swap. I get a sweet floral with a darker undertone. Not quite sure what to think just from the smelly, might imp this to get a better idea of it. EDIT (3/5/10): This smells like an alcoholic drink I had once, Zombie, I think it was. Going to apply this lightly. On my skin, there's definitely a resinous aspect to this, with a sharper, sweeter aspect, which I think might be the gardenia on me. We'll see what happens. Dark and sharp floral, not really for me.

Got this as a free smelly in a recent swap. It smells like a very sweet strawberry, almost sugared, with a hint of green underneath, like you'd find it in a garden under the sun. Might try to find an imp of this. EDIT: Got a bottle of this in a recent swap. Can't wait to try it... if I could just get it open. There. In the bottle, I get really sweet strawberries, sugared, almost. On my skin, it's really, really sweet, sugared strawberries, with a hint of underlying green. And then it turns into... strawberry hairspray. What? Yeah. I think this is going to the swaps.

Got this as a smelly in a recent swap. I get fruit and PEPPER. I don't think I'm going to be looking for a bottle of this at all. And it's kind of good to know that I made the right decision avoiding this, thinking that the pepper wouldn't work well on me.

Got this as a sniffy in a recent swap. It's a nice, light, sweet floral, with a bit of herbiness lurking in the background. Not anything I'll be looking for a full bottle of, I think.

Got a sniffy of this in a recent swap; sniffing now. ...Ohh. Oh, that's good. It smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream. ... Damnit, I may have to find a bottle of this. EDIT: Can has bottle! In the bottle, this smells like mint chocolate. This is gonna be good. On my skin at first, it's a very sharp mint with chocolate lurking underneath as it mellows. We'll see what the drydown does here. The mint mellows on the drydown because of the vanilla, but is still a bit crisp. Either way, got comparisons to Mint Meltaways and NOM from two of the little sisters. I likes.

In the imp, I get chocolate, and a mix of orange and cherry underneath. Oh, nom. On my skin, it's predominantly dark chocolate and cherry, with maybe a hint of orange lurking in the background. Oh, I like. It dries down to this chocolate-orange-cherry blend that smells amazing on me. Yep, this'll definitely be a bottle.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

To me, Gluttony is Cake Smash Lite, with a bit more chocolate and added coffee. -
In the imp, I definitely get almonds, with maybe a hint of dark florals or berry lurking in the background? Once on my skin, I get the almonds, but then a darker, kind of spicy scent comes out. ...And then it seems to fade to a pretty nondescript scent, like with King of Hearts earlier today. I think I'm going to need to test this one further, like with Hecate.

In the imp, I get a soapy rose scent, like with Moscow and Epitaph. No leather. Hopefully the leather comes out to play on my skin... Wet, I'm not really sure what I'm getting. There's rose there, but it's being blocked out by something - maybe it's the scent of leather, wet? I'll have to let it dry and see how it turns out. Yeah, the rose is absolutely dominating here. Going to age this, I think, and see if the other notes will come out to play more.

In the bottle, I get butterscotch, booze, and a hint of apple. Once on my skin, though, the apple amps pretty strong, to the point where I can't smell any of the rest of the stuff I get in the bottle. And I also get the barest hint of spice like I did in Lambs-Wool? Bwa? Yeah, this is a bit too APPLE for me. Lambs-Wool is a better apple scent for me, I'm thinking, just because of the balance there that kind of is lacking here. To the swaps!

Oh, this is elusive, all right. Elusive in that when I smell my bottle, I get really pale florals for a few seconds, then nothing. ...That's not a good sign. Wet, on my skin, again, I get really pale florals, and I have to smell really close to be able to get anything, and I put on a fairly generous amount. This does not bode well. It starts to bloom, though, after the first few seconds of wet, into this pale, delicate, vanilla, almost crystalline smell that everyone's ranted and raved about. And I think the white musk is coming out, too, with the birch? All I know is that this is turning into a beautiful thing; not a lot of throw, but throw isn't needed with this scent, I think. So glad I got a 5mL of this unsniffed. This might not be something I'll wear regularly, but it'll be nice to have in the drawer.

In the imp, first and foremost, I get champagne - kind of like what I smell in the Stardust '05, with my father's cologne, but lighter. On my skin, it's champagne, with a strawberry undertone that comes out rapidly; a crystalline, beautiful scent. I'm getting a bottle of this, I think; this would be good for the occasional fancy party, or especially for New Year's.

And now, it's time to try the good Baron. In the imp, I'm getting something like vetiver. Oh, no, please, bay rum, don't be vetiver on me. It is a note of nasty and doom. On my skin, the Baron smells like what I'm pretty sure is rum, with a vetiver undertone that's not taking over and is a bit more woody, which is very good. The Baron seems to be a cousin to Mad Sweeney, here, smelling of wood and a hint of booze, which makes me think he's going to benefit from some aging. Right now, he's not anything I want a bottle of, but he's going into the aging corner of my drawer, where he may soon be joined by Snake Oil, depending on whether or not the imp I just got from the lab is fresh or not. I'll visit him again in six months and see how he's doing then, and make a bottle decision from there.

In the bottle, I get straight up peach. The only other fruity blends I've had have been Suck It, Hollywood Babylon, and the King of Hearts, and none of them worked well, but those were mostly cherries and strawberries. Marquise has some peach in it, but not so predominant like this. Wet on my skin, the peach mellows out a bit, and there's a tang with it that might be the musk or the orange blossoms. She dries down to a peach teaish scent with orange blossoms in the background, and she has a real kick to her, just like her namesake. Nothing I want a bottle of, but will be nice here and there.

In the imp, I get the smell of rain just before it hits, and just a tinge of ozone. Hmm. This is one of my favorite scents to smell; an oncoming storm. ...Bwa? I'm getting grass now, wet on my skin. I am confused. Where's the rain? Where's my ozone? Augh. Green and sharp and world of no. What happened between the bottle and my skin to make it hate me so? *pout* To the swaps.

In the imp, this smells darkly spicy, which I'm going to pin down as the black musk (yay for only two notes, thus making this easier!). On my skin, though, that dark spice gets a bit lighter, which I think is the amber coming into play. Aaand like King of Hearts, this is gone almost instantly on me. Ten minutes, now, and I get a really faint dark spiciness, but not a lot. To the swaps.

In my imp, I get a scent of florals, what might be the fir, and an undercurrent of ocean. Wet on my skin, though, I think I'm getting the fir and the ocean, here, though the florals are quickly coming out on me. This is an amazing scent on the drydown; the ocean and florals blend amazingly, and the pine's lurking in the background. Definite bottle, this.

In the imp, I'm smelling the cherry and the rose, I think. A sweet scent, not quite sure how it'll translate to my skin, because my other try with cherry (Suck It) hasn't exactly been successful. I get that cherry and rose on my skin as it's wet, with what might be the wood on one wrist. Ten minutes later, and medium application's faded away to almost nothing; as such, I'm slathering now to see if I can get a longer lasting scent. But, no, the rose/cherry's fading away pretty quick to a musky wood sort of scent that I can barely smell. After five minutes, this is a woods with lavender scent that stays really close to my skin and that I can barely smell at all. He's just too timid of a thing to work on me, sadly. And I wanted this to work so badly. But, maybe a little aging will do him some good.

In the imp (hehe, imp of Imp), I think I get what's the peach, musk, and amber at first - and then the patchouli hits, which makes me nervous, as patchouli has been a note of DOOM on me. Wet on my skin, I get the peach and musk and amber, with a patchouli undertone, and I had to apply really heavily in order to be able to get any scent. Aaand there's the patchouli. Dominating little b****, isn't she? *sighs and scrubs off before she smells like a doctor's office*
