In the implet I have of this, it's pumpkin and spices. On my skin, there's definitely some cinnamon in this, and spices, and pumpkin in there somewhere, it's just not showing itself right away here.

In the imp, I'm getting aquatics, apple, vodka, and a touch of lime. On my skin, it's salty aquatics, mint, and iris. Yeah, glad I got to try this, but, happily, I won't need more of it.

In the imp and on my skin, this smells... weirdly similar to Dorian, like, Dorian with a bit more floral.

In the bottle, I'm getting the olive blossom, the chamomile, the magnolia, and I think a hint of the smoke. On my skin, chamomile, olive blossom, and just a hint of sharpness form the frankincense and gunpowder, but not overwhelming. Get a pretty even balance of soft florals and smoke, going to give this a further skin test to see what it does.

In the bottle, this is a very gentle, musky floral. On my skin, this smells exactly like a moonlit garden - the musks are the moonlight, and the flowers, obviously, are the garden, gentle, not too sharp. Ends up being a pretty nice floral, a touch too sharp, but we'll see what it decides to do on the full skin test.

'07 Blend: In the bottle, this smells like sugarplums and sweet cool florals. On my skin, it's sweet, tart plums and maybe a bit of florals in here somewhere.

Lots of wood and tobacco in the imp. Light application. ON my skin, oak and teak and soap. ...Yeah. This probably won't turn out well. And yep, lots of wood and tobacco and soap and man, just not for me. -
In the imp, I'm definitely getting the huckleberry and red currant. On my skin, huckleberry and red currant, really nice. Neroli ends up coming in and making it watery, fades to a faint huckleberry far too quickly. Not quite for me.

I still can't believe that I'm actually able to try this. HUGE thanks to talula_faire for passing on her tester! In the imp, this is chemically leather. ...Maybe I have a chance at avoiding a BPALicorn! On my skin... oh. shit. This is not the chemically leather. This is the leather that is beyond amazing on me. Fuuuuuu - Yeah. Amazing leather, similar to that in Perversion, but without the wine note; instead, it's bourbon and cardamom supporting. Damnit. This may become a leather holy grail. RESURRECTION PLEASE.

Oh. My. God. Ended up being the first and only bidder on this for an eBay auction, got it without having sniffed it. This. Is. Gorgeous. Smells like wonderful baking fruity pastries, just this wonderful warm comforting scent that I just want to roll around in until further notice. Definitely going with me to Japan, quickly shooting into my top 10, and may need to start looking for a backup of this. (Also, sirensea, you can bathe in it, just smother your sheets in it and roll around in 'em for a bit. Works like a charm.)

In the imp, I'm getting vanilla, pear, and what I think is the sandalwood and heliotrope. Really delicious. On my skin, an absolutely stunning vanilla/pear/sandalwood/heliotrope. Horray for blind bottle purchases based on gut instincts! Will probably go onto a second skin test. ...This scent seemed familiar to me, and I know why. This is similar to one of the Chaos Theories I got this year, vanilla and water lily. There's a definite vanilla/lily thing going on here that's made more awesome by the pear and the heliotrope/sandalwood, me thinks. Not an exact clone of the Chaos, but, WOW, like, my Chaos, but a bazillion times better. Anyways. Second skin test sometime soonish.

In the bottle, I'm getting plum blossom and lotus root, not so much the peony. On my skin, plum blossom and peony and just delicate blossomy florals. We'll see what this does.
-
Lily, jasmine, and clove in the imp. This will probably not end well. On my skin, jasmine and lily and maybe the myrtle? Really soapy.
-
In the decant, I'm getting wood, smoke, tonka, and a hint of the Irish coffee. On my skin, wood, tonka, smoke, and a bit of coffee, and fading quick.
-
Pear and white musk in there for sure, maybe a touch of plum? On my skin, it's pear, white musk, with the bamboo pulp and jasmine amping quick. Hrm. Fades quick to nothing, not quite for me.
-
Manny cologne in the imp. Bwa? On my skin, I'm getting the vanilla/sandalwood/touch of apricot, but the oak and tonka are pretty heavy over it. We'll see if this can right itself. I get the creamy vanilla awesome towards the tail end of the scent, but I have to sit through several hours of the first stage in order to get it. Not for me.
-
In the imp, this is peach and something quite sharp, maybe the osthmanthus? On my skin, this is peach and I think jasmine or rose amping; maybe we can avoid the florals entirely? Peach and grape and jasmine. Eh. Not for me.

In the bottle, this is gorgeous; skin musk, orchid, and what might be the French vanilla, just this wonderful sexy scent. On my skin, this is that same skin musk and orchid and vanilla, and just absolutely wonderful. Glad I bid on this blind, and the bottle is going onto a second skin test to be absolutely sure. Stealth hit!

In the bottle, I'm getting fig, pomegranate, bergamont, and cocoa bean. On my skin, this is fig and pomegranate and bergamont, and a touch of lemon. Not really my thing...
-
In the imp, I'm getting the opium and the rose, similar to Clermont. Hrm. On my skin, soapy rose and opium. Oh, come on. Please, turn into something else. Please?
-
In the bottle, I'm getting peony, plum blossom, and the water reeds; an aquatic floral sort of thing. On my skin, this is peony and the water reeds with the woods starting to come out. Hrm. We'll see what this does. Ends up being too watery with the water reeds, and a funky plastic note ends up coming out. Not quite for me, sadly, though it was nice for the few seconds it did work.
-
Violet and tea in the imp. On my skin, violet, lily, angelica, a very bright, almost soapy floral on me. Had to get it off, soapy floral, not for me.
-
I'm getting ylang ylang and clove. Interesting scent. On my skin, it's ylang ylang, myrrh, patchouli, and clove. This will probably not end well.
-
Patchouli and vetiver. This will probably not end well. Light, light application. Yeah. Patchouli and vetiver. So, so not for me.
-
In the imp, I'm getting the almond, and what might be the jasmine and saffron. On my skin, it's almond and jasmine for sure. We'll see what it decides to do. Gone in less than ten minutes.
