Hmm. I was expecting to like this more, as I like pretty much all florals, citrus, and vanilla. On it's too much MUSK with a little bit of verbena, and I guess that's the sandalwood that makes it 'dry'. It's a very warm scent. It reminds me a great deal of the Chanel Gardenia my mom gave me for Christmas years ago, but better.. still not good enough compared to the other BPALs I like. Won't be wearing it again.

I wasn't expecting to like this, but it's not a bad smell. But it's too patchouli and cologne-y, so I will not be wearing this imp. In the imp I smell dirt. Too cool how Beth can make something smell like fresh dirt! On the patchouli is strong, along with musk. It's very masculine to me.

This is pleasant, but nothing special. The mint disappears instantly when I put it on, which is disappointing.. if it stuck around it would really make it special. I'm left with a green, watery cologne scent. I would keep it, but it's too faint even immediately after application.

This is a really interesting scent. Very subtle. On, it's nutty (I can just make out coconut) and gently floral at the same time, with an undertone that I guess is 'aquatic'. It stayed consistent over time for me. It smells like a unique, expensive commercial perfume to me. I don't think I will get a bottle, but I will be using this imp.

I like this! From the description I was not expecting to smell 'LEMON DROPS!' but that's what I get (I guess it's the neroli and verbena together). Lemon drops, and lavender. Very cheery. It would make a fantastic body lotion, will have to mix some up.

This was a disappointment. The apple was strong in the imp, but disappeared as soon as I put it on. What was left did not smell good to me. I don't think I've smelled anything like it before, but it brought to mind a strong potpourri. After several hours there's a very pleasant herbal scent left over, but it's not worth waiting for. I hope this doesn't mean all apple scents won't show up on me..

I loved this from the minute I smelled it in the bottle. On me it starts of mostly juicy pine and sweet berry - it smells almost edible to me. Over time the cedar comes out and the pine fades a bit, so it smells like a sweet forest. I haven't gotten any tomato leaf yet, but the imp is only a month old. Will be purchasing a bottle. It's definitely a good Christmas scent, I think I will wear it for Christmas morning.

I adore this scent. It smells like spring, and I can't wait to wear it when that time of year comes around. It's a perfect mix of a fresh, almost sharp, bright green scent (not getting 'sage' but it's delicious) and a floral that's sweet without smelling like powder. It lifts my mood. Getting a bottle.

I looooove it. My favorite so far. In the imp, smells exactly like absinthe, even with a bit of alcoholic tang. On, it is lemon and anise. I adore anise. It lasts a good long while, for me (my dry skin sucks up BPAL and nothing I have tried has much throw or longevity, so I am happy to still be able to smell it a couple hours later). It is phenomenal in my hair, as well, more lemony than on the skin.

My first hated BPAL. In the imp it smells pretty nice - strong, kind of smoky, with sweetness - I think I can make out the vanilla and honey. On me, it reeks of latex gloves and disinfectant. If I sniff and sniff, I can smell a little spiciness. It reminds me very much of having blood drawn! I have to wash it off now, I can't take it anymore!

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
animalcule replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Just for everyone's edification (because this thread was helpful for me when I was impatiently waiting for my first order): I ordered on 9/6, my card was charged 9/15, I got my CnS on 9/25, and received my order 9/28.
