first off let me say the label artwork is just gorgeous straight sniff from bottle is sweetly snowy with delicate balances of evergreen and juniper... once applied this gets so gorgeous...something minty and berry...this is a complex and beautifully cold perfume...beth delivers this full-force to the masses; her interpretation is nothing short of astonishing...i am thrilled to have a bottle

nah...to me mad sweeney is all about the whiskey ... the booze note is way more brandy in fruitcake... like the one in spiked punch but spiked punched is more fizzy...
-
eat me combined with bloody mary & beaver moon 2007 comes pretty darned close to me
-
straight sniff from imp is booze...brandy, to be specific and cherries once applied this has the same feel/scent as "eat me" notes plus the booze and fruit... this warms up and gets divinely cake-like...better than any fruitcake i ever have smelled... i then get lots of buttery, cinnamony, nutmeg...to die 4, truly!!! wonderful sillage folks!!! i am thrilled to have had a lovely forumite reach out and offer me some of this festive and delightfully fun blend... now if i could only get my grubby paws on a bottle....
-
straight sniff from bottle is very gourmandy...chocolate and some vanilla...same sort of notes i get from the the "13" series... once applied this morphs immediately and i get loads of honey with beautiful and glorious florals that are so completely well-blended i am astonished...the jasmine in this is perfect and swirls elegantly with the apricot and carnation goodness... i love it
-
straight sniff from bottle is, indeed, dandelion wine once applied this gets a touch bitter...and more boozy with a honey note...buttery even... then loads of honey again...yay the sillage is less than average for me...the scent itself makes up for this in the uniqueness alone... i am thrilled to own a bottle of this and will treasure it ... bittery, buttery...superb!!
-
straight sniff from bottle is honey and blackberry... once applied the honey is amplified 10-fold...gorgeous beth's honey blends never cease to amaze...this is astonishing... fruity, slightly floral and honey notes this is nothing short of incredible ....l-o-v-e in a bottle
-
straight sniff from imp is soft, white musk with a sprinkle of lavender.... once applied pure and ethereal lavender and musk with a touch of sugar....whilte florals abound... very lovely indeed....
-
straight sniff from imp is my beloved wrigley's juicy fruit gum once applied, grass, cukes and musk with a touch of fruitiness swirl together in a perfect unison...quite lovely!!
-
straight sniff from imp is grape and neroli.... once applied the myrrhy takes over with the dragon's blood and makes a delightfully and fruity incense blend...i think this could be a blend to love from time to time...
-
straight sniff from imp is totally d00dish and lots of alcohol... ok...applied some odd oily note...almost anise-like...slight burning...like rubber...not my cup of tea
-

holy shit ...yessss!!!...straight sniff from bottle is dandelion....omG....amazing!!! once applied sage, dandelion and clove...in that order....good heavens, this is a dream come true...glorious....almost piney, but not quite...chamomile makes an appearance quite subtly and in the most gorgeous way... beth, this is so beautiful i could cry
-
straight sniff from bottle is sharply dark and forboding!! once applied this has a deep resinous feel...no doubt the olibanum...after awhile this seems to get more complex with that black moss and opoponax; heavy and great for cold months when you may be feeling a little risque'...very interesting blend
-
straight sniff from bottle this is a dead-ringer for pulcinella & teresina minus the rose... once applied extremely smoky & the blackest of patchouli...this blend is most definitely not for the faint of heart; like the reviewer before me, the tobacco is fantabulous in this blend...beth's darker blends are always a hit for me & this is no exception
-
straight sniff from bottle is overwhelmingly floral... once applied this is still very floral...you have to let this one work with your chemistry... after 30-45 minutes this calms down to a very eloquent blend...the florals, mint and blue musk are top-notch...a heady and elegant perfume ... perfect for a walk under the moonlit sky
-
straight sniff from bottle is old fashioned incense and cream... once applied this gets very bold and beautiful; the musk comes dancing about with the other notes very elegantly...while this is perfumey it is perfectly done and does not disappoint...the vanilla tempers the blend exquisitely this has wonderful sillage and i can see myself reaching for it again and again...magnificent!

i am not sure about this pickle association being described by others?? i get nothing of the sort... amen! straight sniff from bottle is a barely noticable soft and dusty aroma...seriously... close to nothingness... once applied there is a civet note; however, this is the softest, most beautiful civet i have ever experienced from the lab... this morphs like crazy...i get some lovely powdery notes and crushed leaves, musk and civet...this stays very close to the skin but itz more like a poofy little cloud surrounding me... amazingly warm and indescribably beautiful i am so glad to have a bottle...i will cherish this for the coldest of winter months... btw, the label is just gorgeous as well...bang up job through and through....

Help please.... I love People of the Labyrinths fragrance....Tell me there is bpal blend you've tried that is similar....maybe? hopefully?? descrip here: Luctor et Emergo is like nothing you've ever smelled before. A blend of sweet and resinous incense, soft vanilla, woods and a whiff of transparent cherry in the beginning, we also smell almonds in the mix, creating a delicious mixture of cherried marzipan offset by very dry wood and otherworldly incense that lasts for hours.

straight sniff from imp is dry leaves and rose... i definitely get vetiver and it is wonderful...i love the "dry leaf" note in this as well...the rose and sandalwood dance around playfully rounding this out nicely... autumn is a winner for me
-
straight sniff from imp is a beautiful summer scent peach & lily of the valley!! the peach is outstanding and oh so fresh!! once applied, grape wine, peaches and white florals...so pretty and feminine and as i said in the beginning a delightful summer perfume
-
straight sniff from imp is patchouli and some clove... once applied patchouli and rose...a little spicy kick... note this is by no means a heavy blend...it stays very close to the skin... i have to agree with the others reviews that i think this will age to such a beauty... hence, let the aging begin
-
straight sniff from imp is sweet currant and gardenia... once applied lots of delightful honeycomb...a touch of that awesome waxiness that you get too!! ah the vanilla and fruit and floral are perfectly done...this will be something i will reach for during springtime months without hesitation...lovin' it!

firstly, this took me quite by surprise noticing the notes and what i actually smelled... straight sniff from imp reminds me straight away of rat king...a hot, peppery & green blend... once applied the water lily and violet leaf become apparent...omG...if you are a violet fiend as i am, this is for you...the violet becomes quite intense and combined with the seaweed and moss notes... phenomenal!
