smoky, warm amazing blend....i love this smells like snake oil with vanilla mixed in to soften it up....after awhile, this really transforms into the most sensational fragrance....incredible and unique....this one would be positively perfect for layering with many other lab blends... just wonderful
-
knock your socks off florals.... if you love everything flowery, this is your fragrance indeed~ so hauntingly beautiful...extremely long lasting... this is one of Beth's "top 10" as far as I'm concerned.... gorgeous...... i couldn't be happier with Veil

ephemera is truly a sad scent indeed... -
Recs for those who can't do sweet perfumes?

OP?? sadly the violets barely came through for me on ultraviolet which is why i suggested it... it was all ozoney and aquatic....but very rough around the edges...like a tide i suppose... chemistry surely is an amazing thing...... -

ultraviolet would be a great aquatic/ozoney blend to try out!! -
Chocolate and Cocoa, in every combination possible

i wish 13 had smelled all chocolately and good on me...all i ever got was a milky lemon kinda scent maybe layering centzon totochtin with swank...although swank is actually pomegranite i bet it would be a whimsical mixture!!! *note to self* -
smells just like a red hot cinnamon fireball i love cinnamon and clove scents with my chemistry and 3 witches is a winner in my book! i love how the peppery parts comes through after awhile as well. great for autumn
-
upon first whiff from this gorgeous little imp i get a whole lotta mint going on....upon application this morphs into the most gorgeous light floral blend on me that gets stronger and deeper with time.....this is such a beautiful scent indeed...thanks to a loverly bpalgal for turning me on to this i am pleased as punch to have just stumbled upon Beth's announcement of bringing the celestials back !! you bet i will be buying a big old bottle of Gemini....after all, she is me
-
quite pretty...a floral and incense blend....unfortunately not long lasting enough for me i'd have to douse myself with 1/2 a bottle to keep the scent lingering around for awhile.....darn it all

omigoodness this is double bubble bubble gum from when i was just a tot!! wowza is this a lucious conglomerate of sweetness and joy!! after the double bubble scent subsides a teeny hint of wintergreen...just like double bubble gum used to have....then it is all powdery sugared heaven.... Jailbait is one of my number one bpal fragrances of all time!!!

while i have never smelled NR for Her, this sounds like maybe something close.... A Demon in my View The Haunted Place The moment before the ruin, frozen. The scent of captured glory, of glowing pearls and rubies, of golden sunlit joy and regal grandeur: red rose, Tunisian amber, blood orange, toasted vanilla, heliotrope, gardenia and red musk. unfortunately, this just came out so no one will have it available to them until probably mid november......

Beth and the labbies make the best patchouli blends in the universe and this one is no exception! Upon application this is very grapey/winey and a bit of patchouli...but the real beauty of this fusion is the way the grapeyness all but disappears rather quickly leaving a dazzling array of patchouli and a smidge of nag champa...niiiiiiiiice~

oh my beating be still!! this is the most gorgeous violet blend to date...this one morphs with my chemistry and makes for the most stupendous floral arrangement ... just beautiful
-
smells downright Pink I do declare!!! Sugary strawberries with a dollop of homemade whipped cream slightly florally...perhaps sugared violets....such a goshdarned pretty scent
-
insanely and wickedly fruity~~fresh cantalope and melon and berries with a touch of creaminess to round it out.... what i love most about fruit moon is the fact that it is not "too sweet"...she's more like a fruit cup with sophistication...gorgeous
-
this is Zombi's much younger sister for sure!! lovely earthy rosey blend...although i have to admit i am more of a zombi lover as zombi morphs into something rather unique & far more complex with my chemistry.... Queen of Clubs is nice but not long lasting enough for my tastes...i might keep her around to layer with some of my other rosey/earthy scents though

Rose Recommendations - which blend is for me?
sookster replied to Nadirah's topic in Recommendations
i'd highly recommend love in the asylum or whip...gorgeous rose fragrances -
butterscotch boozy goodness indeed! i am so thrilled with this scent i can hardly contain myself!! this is a very strong blend and i adore the long lasting power of Grog.... a delightfully fun scent....the butterscotch settles down after a bit and then the rummy boozy aroma comes shining through....
-
ah...minty, cucumbery goodness.....quite lovely, indeed....perfect for this crazy bout of insanely humid and sticky weather we are having as of late... the scent stays this way the entire time i am wearing it...alas, the staying power of Tulzscha is not nearly as long as i'd love...just gotta slather this baby on
-
amber normally loves me but this scent is just too thick and heady for my chemistry....has that "sour, pungent almost bitter" note that comes out and just destroys what should and is a beautiful aroma for some....soooooooo not for me....
-
oh yes, yes! another vote for Athens here....this really is such a grand scent indeed!!

Myrrh - identifying its scent, picking the best blends
sookster replied to aedes's topic in Recommendations
in my humble opinion, Athens and Velvet would be right up your alley!! They are two of my ultimate favorites..... ETA: oddly enough I found that Chimera had little to no notes of myrrh that my schnoz could detect....this could have everything to do with chemistry though as certain scents seem to grasp hold without letting go while others seem to wither away........ -
myrrh, honey and wine are the most predominant notes .... wow.... someone mentioned this smelling like a "new age shop".... and that is exactly where this takes me........my goodness this is phenomenally gorgeous.... I so need this one......fantastic....and I adore how this stays so close to my skin yet it truly is a strong blend.....

sparkling and beautiful is sweet Juliet she smells like a perfumed "little kiddle" (tiny doll) that i used to have...her scent was sweet pea and the scent reminds me of my happy days as a 5 year old... after about 15/30 minutes i can distinctly smell the honeysuckle and pear.... breathtaking.... this is such a gorgeous floral....another winner from our beloved alchemist, Beth
