absolutely patchouli and fruity goodness with this lil' sucker lasts forever and warms up to a very comforting scent ..... i am such a sucker for anything patchouli, of course....do i need a big ol' 10 ml?? problee....
-
starts off oh so minty and then turns into a the most astonishingly warm, gorgeous floral ..... powdery....AMAZING old lady-ish even...but gorgeous!!!!!! if my Gramma were still around she would beg me for a bottle of this yet another ultra-unique scent has been created..... wonderful!!!!!!
-
slightly OT here but "with regards to colors of imps".... i have several imps of Centzon Totochtin and they all range in color from dark amber to a very light golden color....however, they all smell exactly the same (thankfully for me as this is a fav of mine)!! my guess is that when the lab makes up a new batch of perfume the colors of the oils themselves might vary slightly.....

Blood Rose has got to be my absolute favorite scent from the lab It smells like the most luscious, sweet, ripe grape with a touch of cherry ... the rose scent mixes beautifully in this blend and is not overpowering.....and the dragon's blood rounds everything out to the most spectacular blend with my chemistry..... This is on my list for a big ol' 10 ml with my next lab order

The most "foresty" scent I have encountered and absolutely love is Hemlock....I wrote a review on this a few days ago.....you might wanna give this one a whirl -
the most wickedly spicy cinnamon and carnation blend i have come across from lab to date....and the bitter almond....wowza!! this literally makes my mouth water after drydown, cinnamon basically overwhelms the bitter almond and carnation....if you want a pure and undeniable cinnamon scent, this is the one for you.........
-
very dark and smoky .... overwhelmingly so!!! just like sitting at a campfire and toasting marshmallows or diggity dogs.... the patchouli totally makes an appearance.......and the intense smokiness dwindles down rather nicely.... in my honest opinion, if you are die-hard patchouli fan, this is a very unique perfume.... and without a doubt, NOT for the faint of heart

i might have liked this one if it weren't for the blasted coconut which never fails but to turn into a burnt rubber band on me.....WAH!!! why oh why must it be that way? i do get touches of floral ... here and there...but the coconut just won't make this a workable scent.....
-
more spicy/ever so slight florally.... yet has a real kick to it..... has a slightly boozy/tobacco touch....ever so slight.... deee-lish!! i am really loving this ..... Grandmother of Ghost is a must try for anyone looking for a completely different yet overwhelmingly magnificent scent that will get you noticed.....no bout adout it
-
ooooooooh!! i am getting mostly mint and juniper with a hint of the lotus...an absolutely unique blend.....i am even getting a salty and/or beachy note....so subtle but it is there.... powerful and quite impressive.... i might have to savor this imp for my trip to Provincetown as this will be a definite head turner...... me likey me likey a lot

Gorgeous floral blend...roses and lily of the valley are predominant on me Has subtle touches of incense notes as well...very beautiful, clean smell. Another award winning combo that I may have put on my list of "big bottles" from the lab

OMG where can I even begin with Centzon Totochtin besides the fact that I am in sheer heaven when wearing this gorgeous, very wearable scent!?!? All the smells come through loud and clear with a distinct and beautiful warmth....from the bittersweet mexican cocoa to the rum and red wine....it mellows fantastically...my chemistry just adores Centzon T Needless to say, I am collecting as many imps of this as possible until my order from the lab gets here probably around early September.... This will be a divine scent for the cooler months but I can't help loving it right now, too.... This is def on my top 5 for fav scents...you rock Beth

Slugbait was kind enough to offer this little baby impikin up for grabs Peace is quite unique....smells like pure violet goodness...sugary too!!!...intriguing and the scent lingers well......this reminds me of these little tiny dolls i had as a child...they were in little plastic perfume bottles that opened up and they had different smells.... rose, lily of the valley, sweet pea and violet.... smells exactly like the dolli did and brings back very warm and fond memories
-
good golly!! initial smell when wet on skin is nail polish !!?!?!?!?! ok, now that is has calmed down "considerably" it reminds me of something my grandma used to wear when i was a child......maybe her soap nonetheless, it has dried down and it smells quite womanly to me; all florals and soapy....i can't even imagine a man wearing this scent but you all know how chemistry goes.... all said and done, i think i need to give scarecrow a few more chances to see what might develop...esp, for the upcoming fall season

for me "whitechapel" .... all my troubles seem to up and disappear -
ooooohhh no....too much jasmine for my liking and not enuff lemon if the notes were reversed....more lemony goodness and less jasmine; it might have worked for me...extremely strong but not in a good way for my chemistry....
-
ahem....where is johnny depp when ya need him.... ok, all kidding aside...... the top note of this blend is coconut.... not working well with my chemistry at all ..... i am not sure as to what the other scents are that come out on me..... a bit of floral....tiny bit milky....but that dadburned coconut is overpowering all of it ... boo..... not a scent for me ....
-
hemlock.....wow....i thought this would belong in a single note after applying it but it just gets better and better .... this would be a phenomenal winter scent ... sweet, medicinal, vapory....not for the faint of heart but i find this positively astounding..... i get that comforting "vick's vap-o-rub" scent as well but not overbearing...... spice is there as well.... i get a tad of some other "green" that i can't quite pick up on.....not to worry though.... this is going to be on my next bpal order.....perfect for cold autumn days and blustery winter nights...positively divine... thanks Beth!!!
-
wickedly fresh and clean smelling....just like freshly washed, wet clothes..... warms up on me after awhile but i can't quite figure out what those pretty scents are on me & with my crazyass chemistry floral....remains slightly soapy.....has more of a "warmth" to it now if that makes any sense i dunno.....not a top 10 for me
-
quite mild in comparison to other bpal scents but gorgeous nonetheless..... i get a bunch of scents going on at once.....spice, almond, cinnamon but oh so extremely subtle that i think this is great scent for summer nights i also get a touch of buttery toast and baby powder even......... i am sooooooooo digging Kether..... Goodness, Beth makes some amazingly beautiful blends.....
-
Hades is resinous, smoky, spicy and sweet all together...quite nice All the blends shine through beautifully but it seems to be more of a masculine scent....another scent dear boyfriend will be wearing for me
-
Love Brisingamen!!! five ambers, soft myrtle and apple blossom, myrtle, and carnation all come shining through as equals on me Another unusual and beautiful scent combo that positively loves my chemistry as I love it..... Also, long lasting and just pure heaven in an imp Thanks Beth~~~
-
the white sandalwood in this scent is just too much for me normally "regular" sandalwood loves my chemistry and works divinely but this is way over the top and all i can really smell is the sandalwood as the dragon's blood get gobbled up by the white sandalwood... too bad cuz upon initial application i got a lovely combo of scents....oh well....back to the drawing board i go
-
languor is smoky, spicy and sweet on me....with a touch of bitterness....like a fresh dandelion this is quite a unique blend and i think i need to give this little baby imp a few more tries of this interesting scent to see if it will work for me as i am still on the fence about it.... *sigh*
-
extremely sweet fruity and dragon's blood upon application and very strong....lingers that way on me as well....hmmmmm do it detect the teensiest hint of civet?? i think so...just a tad .... sadly this is just not for me
