In the bottle, Sprinklecake smells buttery and delicious. It reminds me of Cake Smash. On my skin, this smells exactly like the strawberry lava cupcake from my local cupcakery. Strawberry buttercream on a chocolate cupcake. Very light and sweet and pink. I love it!

I ordered a bottle of Spanked unsniffed because I adore BPAL's leather notes. I was not disappointed. In the bottle, sweet spice dominates. I can't even smell the leather. Wet: Cinnamony (or cardamony, I suppose) leather. There is a hint of sweetness from the bourbon. Gorgeous! On the drydown, the spice backs off, and the leather note predominates. Finally, I'm left with a soft leather with a touch of bourbon once my skin burns through the spicy notes. I give this a 5/5. I will be ordering a backup (or three).

When wet, the scent has something sharp to it. Maybe that's the gunpowder? Mommy Fortuna dries down into something reminiscent of Halloween: Los Angeles but even better. It's sweeter and not as smoky as Halloween: LA. The honey comes out just a bit and the sharpness disappears. Overall, a lovely scent.

2010 version In the imp, this smells of cocoa and amber. On my skin, the cocoa disappears and amber amps up into sinus headache territory. I had to wash it off.

In the imp, yummy and delicious. Deep and rich scent. On my arm, expensive pipe tobacco. It's much lighter and sweeter than it was in the imp. Not a bad scent, but I wish the other notes would come out to play. Off to the swap pile!

I adore Dorian! The scent on me is a vanilla-y floral. I'm guessing the floral is really the tea, but it is light and sweet. The scent lasts all day with a bit of throw. Definitely bottle-worthy!

In the bottle, this has a nice chocolatey scent. On me, it smells exactly like Cherry Coke lip smackers. It's a lovely scent, but I'd rather get a bit more chocolate. Into the swap pile.

I was gifted an imp of Dove's Heart by a generous forumite. Sadly, this oil is not for me. All I get is a very strong, soapy scent. It reminds me of lavender soap. I had to scrub it off immediately. Into the swap pile with this one.
