This may be one of my favorite bottles I own from BPAL. It smells just like sugared lillies on me. Sweet and floral with a touch on incense. The throw on this is wonderful on me and the staying power is AMAZING, this last a good 10 hours and still goes strong. I will probably buy a back up bottle of this soon just in case this sells out. This is one of my first bottles from BPAL and this scent is what really got me into the line. I would def. reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of a sweet, different floral scent.

Well, I've come to the conclusion I cannot do apple or pumpkin scents. As much as I love the idea of both just can't Pumpkin=burnt coffee/syrup and Apple=fake and plastic. Both things I love dearly and the idea of both knock my socks off and I am seriously depressed that I can't do anything with either pumpkin or apple. Anywho...this scent is just a terrible mess on me as soon as it dry it smells like a cheap apple air freshner and only a time bit of the caramel shows through....BS I tell ya, BS. I wanted to love this one but it was a no go.

In the bottle this scent smells very mysterious...dark but light and airy at the same time. This reminds me of a church service on a spring day when they are having the mass with the doors open so the fresh air and the breeze fills the room up. On, a great a little more of the heavy incense and richness that make it seem more Fall than Spring. On the dry down the lillies jump out big time (they always do on me) and end up overpowering. Once its completely dry though it smells rich, slightly floral and just overall lovely. This is a pretty complex scent as it turns of few times on me. I have to say I enjoy every stage though which I dont always. This is probably one of my favorites because its so easy to wear and seems to change just a little each time I wear it. Sometimes it will be more incense, sometimes more floral but always beautiful!

This is a very light food scent to me. The sweetness is there but not too overpowering. It smells like marshmallow fluff as someone else said, that is the perfect discription! It is sweeter than a marshmallow straight out of the bag, but not cloying. It is one of those scents that just makes you happy to wear it ( I feel the same about Cake Smash!) and has a decent throw. Def. worth the investment of a bottle in my opinion if you like a sweet, soft, happy scent!

The Good-This scent literally smells like a cherry tart! As a foodie I adore it. Warm, sweet...like walking into a bakery when they are just pulling the cakes out of the oven....awesome until.... The Bad-dry down. On dry down this literally disappears on me. There is a slight hint of the scent if I put my wrist up to my nose and sniff and sniff AND sniff. No throw. The warm, frosted goodness disappears. The is SO BAD to me...I usually amplify BPAL and most carry an extreme throw on me and last 5 hours minimum. So sad at the fact I would have to pour half the bottle on my self to get decent staying power....If this last on you I am SOOOO JEALOUS!

Welp...this is sadly a no-go for me. It smells like coffee that has been sitting in the pot for too long and maple syrup. No vanilla, no sugar. I put this on and my family all ask why I smelt like a pancake...Not necessarily a bad thing but I have another pumpkin scent that turns the same on me and I dont need two pancake scents. As much as I wanted to love this I didn't. Happily though I found someone to swap this for The Madwoman and floral blends almost always work for me so crossing my fingers it works out!

Well, I surely caught the pepper in the bottle! It was the first and strongest note I picked up. Then came ginger and tea...no vanilla, a lil honey and a touch of milk. When it is on for the first five minutes the pepper is still overpowering to my nose so I don't enjoy it at all. After about 10-15 it gets to be a beautiful soft tea with a lot of richness and sophistication. As another reviewer said, this is nice but very short throw. I have to huff my wrist to catch the scent after 20 minutes or so. If this scent was stronger I would surely invest in a bottle, but since I like my scents to pack a little more punch, I'll just keep my imp and pass on getting a bottle. I do have to say though, there hasn't been a Tea Party scent I've tried yet and didn't like! Lovely collection of scents, I'm making it my goal to try them all since I haven't really struck out yet!

Hmmm.....does anyone remember that cherry almond face wash? I think Queen Helene makes it? This is what it smells like on me....cherry for some reason. Def. smell the oatmeal and some almond in there....maybe a touch of honey. Anyways, smells good for a face wash/body product but not a scent I would like to wear as perfume...kind of weird to me. Something about it IS comforting, but I do see this as something I would like to smell like... Just odd...I don't know how to explain it. On me, the stay power is crap. It fades away in about 20 minutes. BPAL has so many wonderful scents I would love to buy a bottle of...this sadly, isn't one of them for me. Glad I got to try a imp of this though.

Wow, I'm really liking this scent! It is def. true to description with the sugar and orange blossoms and the floral notes and there too tucked away in the background. Every once and awhile I'll get a strong wiff of floral but it's mostly a carmalized sugar smell. Not like Sugar Skulls though, this sugar smell is very soft...more refined in a way. Sugar Skulls can be overpowering where as the sugar in this scent is just enough and the orange blossoms and carnation balance it out well. Not sure if this is a bottle scent just yet but I will surely enjoy my imp. This is a good all year round scent and very soft so I am going to keep this on my maybe list. Has a lot of positive qualities but there are a few scents I just like slightly better....
-
Um, this smells nice but kind of synthetic on me. Most apple scents seem to do that. I can def. smell that caramel though which smells very nice. I really like it in the bottle, I just don't like it too much on me the way the apple turns...I think this is too sweet for me too, it is kinda headache inducing. This is a very foodie scent which I normally like but this is almost sickeningly sweet.

This smells like a jasmine/lavender soap on me. Something you would find at Crabtree and Evelyn but classier. Not a bad scent but def. SOAP. Very clean smelling. I get nothing but the soap.... Not something I need a whole bottle of but nice and clean. Good for someone who really doesn't like perfume but just wants to smell fresh. Different than most BPAL scents. Glad I got a chance to try it! EDIT-I don' know what happened overnight but when I woke up in the morning this smelt gorgeous! I could smell the sugar and the flowers were deeper, more exotic and the soap smell was gone. Lovely, I need a whole bottle now!

Frosted chocolate cupcakes and filth. This is a weaker version of Cake Smash with some wood thrown in the background. Nice and soft and not too foody. This would be good for someone who gets a headache from most foodie scent since this is none offensive like some food scents may be. I still prefer Cake Smash but not a bad scent. Glad I just got a imp of this and not the whole bottle since I already own Cake Smash!

This scent really hated me.....it smelt like cheap car air freshner. I don't what it is but to say this stunk on me is a understatement. I didn't get blackberry at all...I got blueberry airfreshner (which smells like chemicals!) Very glad a lovely lady on here sent me this imp to try before I bought it! Save me a lot of disappointment. Oh well, can't win em' all right?

Ummmm...love this! I thought it was a little strong but once on, lovely. At first it smelt like a cherry pastry to me (red currants maybe?) and now after a long drydown angel food cake with vanilla icing! Nice in the fact that it isn't overpowering but has a long wear to it. Some food scents are too much and give me a headache but not this. I am sad I only have an imp of this because now I want a whole bottle! I just ordered Drink Me so hopefully I love that just as much. This really is good enough to eat! All of the Tea Party scents have been my favorite so far hope these stick around for awhile!

I really did like this in the bottle but LOVE it on! The smell is very vanilla lemon with something dark in the background...just lovely. On me the staying power is WONDERFUL! This last longer than any other bpal scent I have tried yet to date. I wish this wasn't LE because I feel I may have a hard time getting my hands on another bottle.... .

This smells insanely pretty and very sexy, but in a soft way. I am unsure of the scents in it but I do get the fig....very nice. I wore this out yesterday and attracted some unexpected male attention, so maybe there is some truth to it's name! The one bad thing is the scent doesn't linger. Very short staying power. If it wasn't for that I surely would buy a whole bottle!

Well, when I first opened the bottle I thought it smelt kinda...cheap. Maybe like a child's play perfume, but I tried it anyways. For the first 10 minutes it was obnoxiously pungent orange blossom, and then it transformed. It became a soft orange with a bit of a tang to it (white pepper?) But still very fresh. It really is lovely and a nice complex scent. Sometimes I smell more orange, then I get a sniff and no wait, it's tea! Light and fresh, this is a summer or spring scent for sure! It def. reminds me of a picnic of a tea party in a beautiful field in the middle of nowhere, so whimsical without being childish which I imagine is hard to accomplish so yeah Beth! I will probably get a bottle of this for spring/summer since the staying power is decent (better than The Doormouse, which I like) and it's something very different than anything I own. I give this one an A+!

The bottle is too cute! I was excited just by that. The scent itself really is lovely. Cake, without being grossly overwhelming. At first it was very sugar sweet frosting then it soften a bit and became cake mixed with a cream cheese and lemon icing. I don't know why lemon...but I swear it was very soft in the background. A lot of scent have been turning lemon on me, but not sour lemon, more a sweet sugared lemon so I really like that.(is that Dorian, I don't know much about it but isnt that a tea scent?) The staying power of the scent is very good to which I like, most things my skin tends to eat them, but not this! I am glad this is a part of my collection and will be wearing often.

GAH! Did I get a bad batch or is my imp maybe too aged or not aged enough....I dunno but this smells pungent to me. I opened the vial and immediately had such a throbbing headache I was almost sick to my stomach. No good on this one. It seems to work for many others so maybe I am just sensitive to something in it...who knows? All I know is this isn't for me.

Hmmm...very interesting scent! Upon first application it was very nutty....almost like a buttered nut scone. Then came the tea, very prominant..I don't get any of the orange but instead I get lemon. A very strong dose of lemon. It smells just like black tea with lemon and a buttered nut scone. I really like it...I could picture someone sitting reading a book and drinking some tea and eating a scone on a snowy afternoon, mid-winter. This scent makes me think of good and happy things, and it's really relaxing me. My only compliant is the scent isn't as strong as I like it. This and The Doormouse need to meet up with the staying power of Sugar Skulls and we would be in good shape! I think this is going on the bottle list though, this may be my new bedtime scent. It is making so relaxed and calm. LOVELY!

Eerie billows of spun sugar, fluttering white cotton, and sheets of cream. Mmmmmmm....Boo. The more it dries down the more I like it! At first it was almost TOO sweet, very potent. Upon first application it made my head hurt. But then after about ten minutes, it was LOVE. This scent is very complex to me because I catch some many different things. Marshmellow, a caramelized sugar scent and every once and awhile I catch something boozy poking through. This all and all reminds me of a softer sugar skull with a vanilla undertone. Lovely scent and overall a keeper!

Based on the discription I didn't know if this would be my cup of tea but I am very happy to say it is! Very fresh, crisp, clean scent. Reminds me for some reason of the air coming off the ocean...strange huh? Just smells really soft and beautiful. I def. catch some of the green tea in it. I adore this scent. I got it as an extra in a sale from a lovely lady and I'm really glad she sent it. The only downfall with this one is it doesn't last that long. It seems if I get the old on some part of my clothing, like a shirt sleeve, it last really well but not on the skin. Oh well, I still want a whole bottle of this, it is lovely!
-
Wow...this is just lovely. The first smell I get when I open the bottle is Orange Glo cleaner and it was slightly scary....upon application though, WOW! It turns into a soft, musky orange vanilla scent. Staying power is awesome and it smells strong but not overwhelming. This is gorgeous and I think I need a backup bottle of this. Great winter/fall scent.

Hmmm....maybe I got a bad batch? When I first opened my imp I swear it smelt like cherry cough syrup. Dunno..it was really pungent though. When I first put it on it cough syrup was still going stong. On the drydown it got very soft after about ten minutes. I could barely smell it. What I did smell of it cheap old lady perfume with a hint of lemon pledge. Obivously, this one was either a bad batch or just a terrible miss on my part....

This is a strange scent...in a good way! In the bottle it smell just like a fresh floral...but on, wow! I get alot of the moss, a soft bit on booze and a light almost flavored cigar smoke with a hint of flowers in the background. Very pretty and very complex. When I first read the ingredients, I was afraid about the tobacco being overwhelming, but it plays beautifully on the other notes. This really does smell like what I could imagine a Southern funeral smelling like. I got this only as an imp but I feel as if I need a whole bottle of this now. Not overwhelming or offensive but still carries a scent.
