Krampus *is* sexy! Who knew? Wet: Lots of red musk and leather, and I can almost smell sawdust in the background. Dry: Sex. Sex. Sex. Red musk and a flash of leather and woods. I'd definitely buy a bottle of this for my boyfriend (or myself) if it comes back again this Yule. It would be a fun scent to layer other notes on too.

Cyprus, citrus, and incense. As it dries, it smells like a lit clove cigarette resting on freshly chopped rosewood. An interesting scent, and it doesn't necessarily smell "wintery" to me as most of the other Yule blends do.

I love the color of this oil! Vivid wrathful flaming red. On my skin, Wrath smells predominantly floral, with the scent of pepper and cinnamon red hots in the background. Altogether, taken as a whole, the scent does indeed smell powerful and full of rage. Being a softie, this scent isn't my style, though, and I'll move it on to someone who can appreciate it more.

This scent actually doesn't scream "Winter!" to me as much as the other Yuletime blends. It's very bright and lemony for most of its existence, but does get a touch of pine at the end. For some reason, my skin eats Yule up and it doesn't last very long.

Talvikuu does smell a little like berries, like juniper sometimes smells. At first that berry scent amps on my skin, but as it dries, it tones down and the slushy-snow covered tree limbs come out. This smells like the bitterest coldest part of winter.

Totally 100% right. Well-oiled metal, like the smell of a mechanic's garage. I also smell vetiver which is starting to amp on me. This is such a unique scent, wow!

This is very representative of winter in a forest. You can smell the snow, the dead tree branches, and some pine. The fruits smell slightly like Hi-C fruit punch to me, but it's soft and in the background compared to the snow and wood. As it dries, the fruit smells more like holly berries and it's even more indicative of winter.

Smelling this in the middle of summer instantly transports me to a cold winter day. It smells like Nuclear Winter (slushy snow and mint), with the addition of a soft amber. I don't smell the violets at all, which is nice, as they usually turn to powder on me.

Sticky honeyed peaches drizzled in chocolate! And somehow, even though it smells like that, it really reminds me of the original 13. It must be that same chocolate note.

Dry tobacco leaves and gingerale!

This smells similar to Svadhinaopatika to me. Honey, incense, red sandalwood, and amber, but also a light clove (this probably would have been a heavy clove on me fresh, but it's aged beautifully) and carnation. The patchouli does come out upon drydown as well. Wonderful.

Thanks, Shelldoo! Delousing Powder - Lemon, vanilla and laundry detergent powder. Freshly washed lemon ice cream!

I had high hopes for Yggdrasil, but unfortunately my skin doesn't like it, and it ends up smelling medicinal, like Ben Gay or a menthol cough drop. Very minty/wintergreeny also. I can't even smell the wood, that medicinal scent is so powerful.

Delicious. Mantis starts off smelling like grass, citrus, and amber. It smells vaguely metallic. As it dries, the amber becomes more rich, and the herbal-grass smell sits itself on a deep bed of patchouli and musk.

Soft, lush roses made juicy sweet by the lotus. I can almost smell honey. Very nice blend, but not my style.

Wet - Lemon lime fizzy fun! Dry - Juniper? Fir? Winter woods with citrus.
-
Wet - Freakin delicious - saffron, spices, woods, musk, and something reminiscent of amber! Drying - Saffron, still that amber smell, and a light touch of patchouli resting on rich, woodsy musk. Dry - Predominantly saffron, patchouli, soft and spicy woods and dark musk. I love it and can't believe I haven't already bought a bottle. Would smell great on my boyfriend too. It's soft and sexy like sandalwood and amber, without having either.

Juicy sweet fruit and Windex?? wtf. It's a light scent, but something is going wonky on my skin. Totally smells like fruity Windex.

Wet - Lemon-scented Pledge furniture polish. Dry - Jasmine and lemon Pledge. Not for me.

The Sodom of the New World! -- touted as the richest and wickedest city in all creation! Port Royal was the center of 17th century Caribbean commerce, a notorious safe harbor for pirates, and the site of our third flagship store, which was, sadly, destroyed in the earthquake of 1692. Spiced rum and ship’s wood mixed with the body-warmed trace of a prostitute’s perfume and a hint of salty sea air on the dry-down. I can smell every note in this - they come together perfectly! Sweet rum, (sandal?)wood, salty sea air (like standing at the beach), and a little floral perfume. Dominant notes are the rum and salty sea air. I *love* this. Used up my imp and then bought a bottle. This is much quieter on my skin than Anne Bonny. Boyfriend likes the scent of it too, especially the yummy spicy rum it turns into after about an hour.

Wet - Very medicinal bay, a little smoke. Dry - Burning sage and honey! Boyfriend says it smells like old medicine, heh. For some reason it keeps reminded me of an old scented sachet or something for sale in a craft store.

Wet - Holy Rose!!! With... mint? WTF? You really can smell all kinds of roses though. Light and soft. Rich and creamy. Full and voluptuous red. And unfortunately the soapy rose too. All the Lab's roses are so true to life except that one soapy one that's in this scent, and I have no idea which it is.

Ochosi starts out soft, clean and soapy in a fresh laundry way. It's comforting like sinking into bed squeaky clean and cool! Drying - The same scent, resting on very soft, sheer wood. Dry - That soft, clean scent, with ivy and clover growing on a birch tree. I *love* how this scent blossoms and "grows" as it dries. The nerd in me is reminded of Druids, and I have named some hunters and druids Ochosi in WoW. I do feel rather protected wearing this, which might be why I wear it to bed sometimes. Will keep my imp and I would like to get a bottle, but it's not an immediate must.

Wet - Juicy, sweet lotus with a bite of lime (lemon?). Drying, it turns to a more floral lotus. Is that peony? Dry - Juicy (not bubblegum) lotus, rich amber. Not really "light" because the lotus is so strong.

Heavy vetiver, damp woods, with a hint of lemon zest. Not for me, especially with my nemesis, vetiver. It did its usual Y HELO THAR amp and let almost nothing else shine through after drydown.
