This smells just like the incense they burn at my church!!!! Wow! Spicy, orange, clove, wood and incense. I really like it. Is there a bottle to be had???????

This smells a lot like my beloved Devil's Claw. The vetiver screams HELLLLLLOOOOO. I like the ceder too. I get NO tangerine at all. It's just a bit more resinous than Devil's Claw and I like it. Right when you apply it to your skin the smokey, bar-b-que smell hits you, but it quickly mellows. I can smell the black amber but unfortunately it turns to powder on me. Luckily there's enough wood to balance the black musk so it doesn't go completely powder on me. My skin amps the wood scents and I love smelling like a tree so this gets a thumbs up from me!!

In the imp: Cherry Cough Syrup. Blech! On skin: No more cherry! YEAH!!! Woody & spicy. I'm diggin it!!!! Glad I got the bottle Dry down (NOT EVEN AN HOUR AND I WAS HEAVY HANDED TOO): Gone. Why do all the Phoenix has such a short life??

I was thrilled to receive an imp of this, THANKS SHANNON! It's a very nice scent. IN the imp: spicy & warm On skin: Spicy with a hint of carnation and pepper. I'm diggin it! Dry down: Sandalwood comes out to play. Very light. I needed to reapply. It doesn't have a lot of throw. My skin eats it up a bit. But I like it a lot. I may buy a bottle. I'll just have to bathe in it to keep the scent on me!

Oh yeah, the imp is definitely almond. But it's nice and comforting. Like a big, fat cookie! On the skin: The almond disappears and out pops some myrrh and sugar. A sweet blend on me. Dry down: As usual on me, the scent doesn't last. It still has a slightly spicy scent if I shove my nose to my wrist but I'm starting to get a little wax scent also. My skin tends to do that with a lot of blends. I like it, (except for the wax) but it's not a blend that lasts.

Very sugary green smelling. Yup, wintergreen and spearmint and an herbal undertone. I can smell a little light floral peaking out too, but not much. It's a very interesting scent. I can't say I want to smell like a wintergreen lozenge but it's definitely a "cool" scent. It mellows out a little so there is a bit more floral but the wintergreen is kicking ass. Part of me likes it. Reminds me of the wild wintergreen/spearmint that would grow during the summer. My skin just eats a lot of scents......this one included. Turned waxy smelling.....bummer.

I received this in an order from the forums. THANKS MOLLS! It's from 2007 Yules. In the imp: Rich chocolate and spicy cinnamon, not the candy kind. Very yummmmmmmmy! On the skin: CHOCOLATE!!!! No coffee & no more spice. Boooooo. Dry Down: The rich chocolately scent is replaced with a plastic chocolate smell with a hint of wax. Why does my skin turn so many scents to wax? I'm sure I can find a lovely home for this little imp. I'm glad I got to try it though.

In the Imp: Who ever said soda, Ginger Ale or 7 Up is correct! That's what I got. Kinda fizzy. On the skin: The soda scent is nice. I'm enjoying it. Half an hour later: Not so nice. It turned to soap with no real scent. It just went away! It almost has a waxy scent. No diggity.

I got this in an imp. At first whiff, coconut and the shea butter. On: Coconut and shea butter. Dry down: Coconut and shea butter Didn't last long at all. It was meh.

When I tried it on I got none of the aquatic scents that others talked about. I got a dark, leathery scent. I love leathers but they don't love me. THey turn stinky on me. It was very strong and sharp. I actually had to wash it off my wrists because it was just too much. It did calm it down some and it wasnt' too bad. Not good enough for me to try again though. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan.

I was excited to get this imp! I opened it up and took a whiff and WOW, it smelled EXACTLY like my parents shed under the house. All I could smell was dirt and mildew and mold. Not that those are bad things really, they all serve their purpose but it's definitely not meant to be on my skin. When I sniff it, I think a spider is gonna crawl on me from one of the nooks and crannies in the shed and ya know, I just don't wanna be creeped out like that. A fun smell though.

Well, it was very sweet smelling in the IMP. I couldn't pick out any individual notes. BUT... On the skin, ROSES. THat's it. No fruit, no spice, no other floral but roses okay maybe a HINT of lilac. It's actually a rose smell I remember from a perfume kit I had when I was a kid. It brings me back. Which is kinda nice but it's not a scent I prefer to wear as an adult. I have a friend who may really enjoy this scent and give it some love. 3 hours later....powder.

This came in my order from the Lab. The name made me want to definitely try it. In the Imp: Woah! Very sweet and floral. On the skin: Strong. The floral notes scream SMELL ME! And I do. I'm thinking it's a rose scent....I don't know my individual floral scents very well, sorry. I think I've smelled this before somewhere, but I can't place it. If you are a bright floral lover this is one you may want to look into. CRAP! MAYBE THIS IS THE WRONG DIRTY!!!!!

In the Imp: Seems very sweet and floral. Not a lot of resin. Wet: VERY floral like, perfumey. STRONG! Wow. I think most people around me can smell me! Dry down: I can smell the resin now. The floral (or sandalwood) is very prominent but the resin is in the background. I'm liking it more. I'm not sure it's for me. I may gift it to someone who can appreciate the sandalwood. It is the holiday season....

In the Imp it's strong, herby and floral. Wet: I really can't pick out any particular notes. (I suck at that) I get a very floral scent on me with some green. Not dirty green, but a green from vines or stems. Dry down: Very strong on me. My skin is amping the Peony(?), it's making me a little sick. I'm getting a little aqua smell too. A little water-ish. Maybe I put too much on? It's a nice scent. I do like it. I'll keep my Imp but I don't think I'll get a bottle.

This is very bright! In the bottle: Sweet oranges, citrus. On the skin: The orange is usurped by the floral notes. Booooo......but it is pretty. Dry down: Has a bit of throw to it. It is very floral on me. Reminds me of a perfume I've smelled years agao but I can't put my finger on it. A very summery smell in my opinion. Don't know if I love it. I enjoy it, but it's not really ME. I'm gonna try it again and see where my chemistry takes it.

This scent is very cool! In the bottle: COCOA with just a hint of tobacco. On the skin: Cocoa fades and out pops the Musk. Luckily I love musk cause this is one feral scent. Dry down: The musk amps on my skin and the staying power is very strong. A little goes a long way. I'm very intregued by this scent. I'm glad I got a bottle! Definitely, not for the faint of heart. I am getting the powdery note. But I kinda dig it with this one. I'm a little worried what's gonna happen at Easter time when all those feral chocolate bunnies get a whiff of me. I'm gonna be beating them off with sticks! Chocolate ones!

In Imp: Cherry with a twist of almond. I must have a crazy nose. On wet: Warms up a bit. The cherry fades and there's no almond left. It's floral, but don't ask me what kind. Not rose, that's all I know. Dry Down: It's sweet. Probably from the honey. A tinge of vanilla? It's a warm floral with a powdery note. Nice, but not really me. I'm still trying to smell the whole "sex thing." Maybe I'm DOING -IT wrong. The sex, I mean......

In the Imp: Fruity and perfumey. Interesting. On skin: Pretty much the same. Dry Down: I dont' get any leather & just a hint of smoke that softens the floral/perfumey scent. I'm not sure what to make of it. I've never smelled straight Dragon's Blood so I have nothing to base that reoccuring review statement upon. It's okay. It's actually kind of bright on me. Very strange indeed. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I may need to rehome my Imp & get it to some one who will show it much love.

In the IMp it was spicy with a hint of lemon. On: It was more spicy & resinous. Very nice. Masculine without being a mans scent. Understand? Dry Down: A sweet/spicy and warm scent. I cna smell the frankinscence & it's beautiful. The lemon scent is gone. I love smelling my wrist. Very nice. I'm glad I picked up the IMP!!!

I was given this as a freebie in my last Imp order. I was happy because I wanted to try it anyway! In bottle: Sweet and spicy. Almost perfumey. On skin: Light, sweet pipe tabacco and a hint of a darker floral. Very nice. 3 hours later: Beautiful spicy pipe tabacco with the floral note that I can't pick out. Some vanilla too cause it smells quite creamy on my skin. But unfortunately, my skin is gobbling this up. I really have to put my mose to my wrist to smell it. I do enjoy this scent though. Maybe I need more of a slathering.

I was looking forward to this imp, and when I opened it, I got what I expected, a strong, smokey, piney scent, I can smell my friend vetver! Masculine. But there was something funky in the background. On my skin, pine and smoke and something.....something......aughhhhh I smell B.O! I kept it on for 10 minutes and couldn't stand myself. I smelled stinky and not in a good way. Very strange. I wanted to love this scent but my skin had other plans. I'm sure someone will love this scent and give it a wonderful home.

I was looking forward to the olive leaf and the greener smell of Alecto that many on the reviews raved about. But unfortunately, on my skin the only smell I got was Eucalyptus & menthol. And I'm sort of allergic to that. It smelled like Ben Gay. I kept it on for as long as I could stand it, but it didn't morph into anything but Bengay for me. So I had to wash it off. Oh well, on to other scents!

This is a very nice clean, grassy, outdoors-y scent. Light in the bottle but strong on my skin. Reminds me of Irish Spring and some type of laundry detergent. It's nice though. I'm not one to wear "clean" scents but this one was given to me as a freebie so I thought I'd try it out. It's something that is more for day time wear and definitely a springy/summery scent.

In bottle: Very juicy and sweet. Kind of candy-like. If purple had a scent, this would be it! Wet: Same as in the bottle. A faint floral note can be smelled, but I'm not good at detecting the actual flower. Dry down: Gets richer and smells less like candy. Amber almost. I Like it a lot. I bought the 5ml. Because I enjoy the scent, but unfortunately it doesn't last on me. 5 hours later from application it's barely there on my wrist. Very sad. I'll just use more!!!
