an odd bite of musk? Sun baked saffron. Hint of myrrh, maybe hint of leather underneath, very close to skin and disappears in a few short hours
-
I am going to wear it again and post my thoughts (love it enough to order 2 backup bottles), but I wanted to share that I wore it on a lunch date with the hubby and the woman who owns the cafe/antique shop we were at said "Someone smells good!" I quickly chirped that it was me and she added "I hope you don't take this weird, but it's very unisex." she continued on how that was good

definitely grass, wetter and heavier than Bub, dirt and flowers (vague flowers) under the layer of grass.
-
wet: dark, sweet, sage and juniper bite, leather underneath. dry : Fades fast to a soft sage with hint of juniper, turns perfumy. Not bad, but no leather
-
this is yummy spice (is it the almond that's cinnamony?) that basically overpowers the sugar cookie. no rum on mine not the right mix for me
-
my first thought was "Vicks vapor rub" ....only nicer. this doesn't last beyond immediate reaction it stays very close to the skin and settles quickly...once settled I can pick out individual notes including the grapefruit, which isn't a scent I particularly like. it's white for sure

nice in bottle with hints of cinnamon, turns soapy but mixed evenly with patchouli and underlying cinnamon spice....so, weird fades away within an hour or two
-
initially I thought I liked this scent, but it's very muddled. It's a vague musk / resin scent and it doesn't last very long on me. It's almost cloying in a dry way occasionally I get a hint of clove, but
-
goes on as a warm blend of all 3 notes quickly settles to a soft yet still dirty patchouli and honey fades down close to the skin, honey may have given way to amber nice! but too soft on my skin
-
wow. very smoky and heady, the cognac is strong! So is sandalwood! Opium too really this is one for cognac note lovers this blend has too much of a bright bite for me and my sinuses
-
this just smells like "perfume" to me...reminds me of my grandmother's I can't pick out any specific notes (usually I can) but there is a warm note underneath the perfume that's probably the cinnamon if I let it sit a few minutes I think I can pick out the orange blossom, but still mainly "perfume" *edit* a few MORE minutes and the morph hits! orange definitely also vanilla and tobacco come out, and the cinnamon goes away still too perfumy for me, but nice to finally get the notes
-
very white and airy/heady patchouli and champaca, a very nice blend at first. then Cloying sweetness, thick and syrupy, heavy on the patchouli
-
very close to the skin, tobacco, woodsy/spicy/incense. Turns to a tobacco/hemp like note with a soapy bite
-
initially - dirty. not dirt. just dirty and a hint of sweet vanilla the hazelnuts do come out after a few minutes, but they dont make it smell any better so it's like a sack that's being drug around everywhere by filthy, dirty, goblins. something in the sack smells kinda nice if I take time to really let it settle an take a loooong sniff that gets to the notes inside the sack
-
sweet syrup-y fruit like canned fruit mix, turns strawberry sugary, maybe a hint of orange blossom and/or vanilla
-
the copper and blood turn sickly sour on me and permeate through the woods and musk, which actually balance it pretty well. it quickly settles to a mildly sour musky scent that if I take a loooong sniff I get copper (otherwise I can't distinguish the notes any more)
-
this is..... so faint I can hardly smell it - on my or in the imp!! direct nose to skin gets practically nothing kinda sweet, kinda brimstone but too faint to tell.
-
bright, fruity? plastic/soap? Def. a floral note in there
-
I only got a sniffie, which had the barest amount I could wipe on my skin, but even if that wasn't the case it's not a very strong scent on me. heady and dark and blue/ indigo incense, slight earthiness,
-
sweet, fruity bergamot and blackvetiver, hint of licorice? No leather. Turns a bit sickly sour under the sweet fruit

sweet lavender cologne (not as Sweet as Jareth, which I put on the other wrist for comparison after reading other reviews here) that fades down adding in a more earthy brown (sage?) with hint of polish. No leather for me after the initial dapper-ness, it no longer smells like a cologne except in occasional whiffs of undernotes. It turns into something wholely unremarkable on me

just a drop and this is overwhelming me with sharp biting greens. I think I can pick out a couple specific veggies, but it's just tooooo strong and greeny for me
-
foody and warm till the florals take over. the florals with underlying foodiness turns a bit ick on me, but those flowers aren't especially nice on me to begin with

definitely pine pitch...at first my initial thought is that it smells like vicks vapor rub, but not quite as in your face give it a few minutes and the pitch settles and fades (no more vicks) letting the greener mosses and the dark violet leaf note come out. the violet leaf quickly takes over as the dominant note with maybe some oakmoss rounding it out.
