weird is the best word I have for this scent. it's heady, kinda sweet, with a yellowish bite after a few minutes I think I get some leather, but it is yellowed-sour
-
a tang/bite that reminds me of Twisted Oak Tree (though created by different notes), snuggly brown and clove with a touch of spice In the bottle, the tang is very prevalent; don't let it put you off from skin-testing after wearing for a bit it settles into mostly musk, still warm and snuggly, brown and hints of warm spice and the tang

I can't wear scents with rose in them, but I received a frimp of this and decided to check it out I like that it smells like FLOWERS as opposed to FLORAL it's a very nice blend of some particularly nice flowers. the rose actually doesn't overpower the other on me the incense is a nice touch that works well (as an undernote) with the flowers, letting them really shine

wow lemongrass!!!!! ok, I like lemongrass, but this is a LOT....makes me wonder if the mosquitoes will stay away it drowns out all other notes...I must amp it b/c I just put a little on with a toothpick and wham. lemongrass party

very pale and faint....and what I do get is biting, acrid, and yellow if I sniff really hard (as it fades a lot on my skin), it reminds me my grandparents house - a mix of cigarette smoke (on the house, not the smoke itself) and, old potpourri or soap a few minutes later and it's mostly gone from my skin, leaving yellow soapiness

coffee and vanilla, rich, foodie with the spices, a bit too coffee/brown to me, but if you like coffee or foodie scents it's a nice one
-
very sickly-sweet, emphasis on the sickly. I think it's the leather and tonka that smell almost mildewed...after reading the Poison Queen's I agree with a bit of cucumber, though it's still a little more mildew than cucumber on my skin and faint inky blackness permeates, but no specific note jumps out

very sweet sugary warm gingerbready caramel (Tablet) in bottle. Fades fast on skin. But still sweet. Hints of musty paper, no leather turns slightly more dry-papery after a bit with maaaaybe small hint of leather, the sweetness is warm and comforting, and the whole scent is very soft

wet: very much like cologne of amber and florals as it dries: some sweet gum-like peach comes out. dry: Fresh and clean, peach takes over quickly without being overpowering. still hint of florals. it's a lovely blend that works well, just not my kind of scent

I put it on and instantly get a scent that's very sweet, white, and juicy. It turns quickly to lemon cake, wafting back and forth between something more sandalwood and something more lemon-cleaner, but usually staying sweet enough to conjure cake
-
heavy on the grass and herbs, I can smell the leather beneath it if I try, but too green for me and almost headache-inducing turns acrid as it dries down and the leather comes out, but it's a hard, dry leather have to wash it off
-
very light maybe a bit of woods and citrus - like if you cleaned a wooden piece of furniture with a slightly citrus cleaner and a soft (skin?) musk comes off as fresh and clean....a little too clean (and the citrusy starts to come out more.) *edit - turns kind of fresh green

Hopefully this is in the right place... It's so soft in the bottle I can hardly smell it. Initially on my skin it's still very soft and pleasant with an almost herby/earthy/woodsy/insence quality that's nice but I can't put my finger on it. After an hour or so the scent turns very "brown", not exactly earthy but has that quality to it. It's not a strong scent. *edit - later in the day it's a tad more incense, but still "brown" and it's really, really faint (nose to wrist)
-
a musky cedar cologne, VERY masculine, very strong. And a hint of something minty that comes out much more after a few minutes, creating a weird mix. A heady scent
-
heavy spices, warm, clove, some sarsaparilla that's a little sour and a little sweet
-
I love this blend. Nice spices without being too incensy, and also has a sweet-sharpness however it disappears completely from my skin within 30 minutes
-
LOVE IT sweet, almost incense and a bit leathery
-
I seriously AMP this! I smell candy! cinnamon like red hots, some cherry and licorice. it's just too strong for me
-
spice! yellow and resin-y
-
cherry cough syrup and sawdust
-
heady and heavy like a hunting lodge, musky and old smoke and brandy too closed in a butch for me
-
oh dear god. i've tied BPAL that I haven't liked before, but words cannot describe how awful this is. I really tried to describe it when I put it on my skin, but I was almost gagging brown, decayed, mildew,... ug
-
ew. I get pinesol with cocoa and rum. not a good mix
-
wow - that's some strong cinnamon. reminds me Uranus. there something black in there, and (now that I saw someone else mention it) Coke. but mainly cinnamon I do think I'm getting little hints of the incense notes, but if I didn't know to "look" for them I might not be... it's not totally overpowering, but too strong of a candy-cinnamon for me *edit it fades down a lot after about 30 minutes. I can tell there are other notes besides cinnamon now, but I can't pick them out individually; the cinnamon is a bit sweeter/lighter but now the whol thing is very close to teh skin

I get lots of white sandalwood, keep sniffing, and there's vetiver and a bit of clove it's really nice and smooth; one of the smoothest, softest vetiver scents I've tried I can't pick out the other notes separately, except maybe some beeswax off and on (the clove has disappeared into thebackground), but it's a gorgeous mix that's not too overwhelming it's both light and dark
