Mmm. warm sexy beeswax, patchouli, musk and resin goodness. There's a sharp note that my nose can't define on it's own/hasn't been added to the brain library. Very naughty. Very lovely. I sure can smell oak moss though! A winner!

Ah! What wood sprites would smell like! Dark woods smelled on a breeze and sweet flowers. I'm actually from the general MA area that supposedly housed the fictitious Arkham, so this is pretty accurate with the combination of woods and flowers.

Very elegant and deep scent. The toasted hazelnut can be detected in the background, which is surprising! I love oak moss so this is a perfect fit. Warm, dark, and slightly nutty. Like leather without the bite (and more natural smelling)

I've been eyeing this one for months but was too afraid to try it because of the attar of rose. Thank you to a swapper for sending it to me!! Very beautiful blend of pinot noir, myrrh, jasmine and rose. These elements flow and peek in and out of the picture. it's really dreamy!

Hmm. Almond, musk, maybe a hint of patchouli and cherry? Something powdery.. maybe they mixed in a touch of jasmine? Like everyone else said, this doesn't last long and you're left with powder. Poof. Gone. Oh well.

Fancy fancy! Classy peach. In imp: strong florals lily of the vally, rose. No peach here. Wet: amber and galbanum splodes and the florals take flight. The peach starts to appear here. there's no sign of vetivert. Drydown: soft amber and a tiny hint of vetivert that really just compliments it. The peach is still the mainstay. This is a wonderful complex scent!

In imp and wet made me go "blaech!".. but of course I will always try any bpal once. Glad I did. In imp and wet: cloying candy almond and heliotrope. Very much like corn syrupy candy heated to a boiling point. Drydown: smooth almonds and heliotrope. no cinnamon really. vanilla skipped out (thankfully.. it hates me) Hang in there because this burns off reaaall fast.

This is the only scent from bpal with vanilla that I can wear. I applied and said "oooh dirty!". My bf, of course interest now piqued, sniffs extended arm and says "Mmm. I like it! Pipe tobacco, patchouli and something." When I read the ingredients, he was a bit surprised. Me too. It's a love though!

Got 2 frimps and glad I did instead of ordering it . Bit of a let down as the wood got washed down by the cherry and currant. This smells like cherry lollipops..bursts then it's gone!

Nom nom nom nom. oatmeal, honey, and almond milk!

Intriguing! This starts out as menthol woodiness in the imp and when applied. I can see that this would deter some right away... Ultra morpher! The wood starts to come out and sweeten. Then the orange blossom and clove took over! I can detect a bit of cumin but it's getting clouded. Overall pretty nice!

In imp and first wet this smells like Suns Eye's Dragons Blood. (Oh the memories! lalalala waltzing down memory lane here) Drydown is quite different on me and the spell is broken. This deepens.. waaaayyy deepens. The dragons blood gets so dark you feel like you're being pulled down and the cherry and clove keep you there getting you fat & sleepy. Mmmmmm zzzzzzz.

Not as potent as I was expecting. There's a sweet fruity element to it like voodoo lily but without the cloying syrupiness. I like it because sometimes Voodoo Lily is a bit too overpowering for me some days even though I love wearing it. Happy medium! Yayay!!! ETA: ok over 3 years later and chemistry has changed. This smells like wonderful oriental musk and lilies on my skin now. totally in love.

Yum. yumyumyumyum. Yum. Yes, amaretto is not it's strongest characteristic, however this is not to be passed up. Plum, currant take center stage and there's a boozy backdrop. Mmmm

This was one of my most anticipated scents from the recent shipment. It didn't disappoint me. This is an orange blossom wonder. Has a slight soapy tinge when wet, but I think these are the roots and seeds bursting and working around the ambergris. Very fresh, with deep resinous notes. Drydown is where it gets good. The sharpness and soapiness drops off a touch and it gets a bit of a sexy musk element. It has trouble hanging around in small volume, so slathering is recommended. Very unique!

Love it! This is perfect as a relaxation blend. The honeysuckle glows so you don't get pulled down a black hole of jasmine and lavender. Very soft. Floaty. Dreamy. Calming. There's not much I can say about the combination mixture. It's straight-forward. Just that the jasmine hangs in the background nicely. Winner!

This was my first attempt with the lab's grapefruit. I was afraid of it until now. This is well-balanced, fruity, refreshing. In imp: totally grapefruit and currant Wet: starts to open and the currant bursts. The grapefruit smells juicy and sweet. This is softened by chamomile very well. Lavender burst for a moment then it's gone. Drydown: even fruitiness. Grapefruit, currant, chamomile... delphinium and lavender are slightly detectable. These are slight supporters. Very cute scent!

Mmm honey, roses, peach and apple. This is great! Sexy, not overpowering, musk isn't overstrong or rank. Frankincense is one of my favorites and does a great job keeping each not amicable. This is what I'll wear to bed just so I'm pleasantly surprised when I wake up smelling wonderful!

The darkening amber of faith’s sunset, deepened by the dark fruits of Proserpine. Uh oh. This one went terribly wrong on me. It totally does not agree with my skin. If it has pomegranate like other have mentioned, that would be why...this really smells medicinal on me. Like pine cleaner spray and band-aids. Up to the swaps it goes!

This is my new favorite!!!!! Melodic, lovely, sensual, refined, and dirty dirty dirty. There's so many notes in this. it's amazing, reading the list, that I can smell each & all work together so well! Smoky, spicy, complex, sexy. This is all the positive things that everyone mentioned about it. Plus my sweetheart loves it!

This didn't stay straight up over sweet on me. Quite wonderful warm amber and peaches. The peach smells fresh, which I contribute to the addition of myrtle and a wine alcoholic element. The peach mellows slightly on drydown but otherwise it's really straight-forward!

WoW! This is a great one! I can smell the anise-ishness of the absinthe and the ferns with black currant in imp. I can tell this will be an impressive morpher. Wet: opens and swirls..ferns, light lilac, currant, absinthe. very green and then starts to burst with affects of body heat. Drydown: mostly lilacs and currants with a bit of green fern. Lavender is more noticable here. Slight sweetnes. very very nice!!

It's a little flip flopped on me..? I smell vanilla and peach blossom.. okaaayy. hmm and then amber and sandalwood. Very little heliotrope? It's very peachy in imp and wet. Maybe my skin is just amping the lab's vanilla note. It tends not to do well with it. Oh well! Maybe try again later.

In imp: this comes across as that grape juice sugary sweetness and I really can't pick anything else out at this point Wet: starts to open up and I can smell a touch of rose however still really sweet like horreur sympathique. Probably something about the musk combo that preserves the grape juice and amps it? The leather comes out but is dry and light. Drydown: This is where it turns lovely on me. The flowers round out and I can smell elements of each plant: rose, violet, and myrtle. The leather stays in check similar to High Priest Not To Be Described or Bow and Crown of Conquest. The grape burst was fast and leaves only a slight heavy sweetness in the background. Very nice!

Any mixture of soft earth and flower does wonders on my skin. I love this one. Sweet rounded and creamy white. the Poppy is a nice top note and the gardenia doesn't overpower any other elements. Surprised I can actually differentiate all the notes considering the headiness and a couple similarities!
