Out of the bottle: It's warm. It smells like burning and spices, but not in the traditional fireplace way. It reminds me of a more aggressive type of burning, like what happens when the something next to the fire place just starts to catch fire.
On me: it has a warming sensation, just like it smells. The burning smell subsides more into a smokey smell and the spices come to the forefront. There's a sweeter note that I can't quite identify.
