On application, Lamia was all coconut on me - I felt like I had just dunked my hand into sunscreen! As it dries, it shifts and allows the peach and florals to come out, so if you're a fan of these notes, definitely look into getting hold of a decant to get a feel for it. Unfortunately on me, I'm very particular about my florals and coconut and peach are not for me! But definitely, if you like those notes, consider getting hold of a decant of Lamia. Joining everyone else in remarking how pretty the oil is in the imp! If I didn't like it, I might have kept the imp just because of how pretty it was. Fortunately, I did like it. It's a clean, sweet smell on me, but it feels more solid to me than a lot of sweet airy perfumes. It's definitely got the "weightiness" of a stone bridge, and the crystalline feel of late night - it is really a very hard one to describe other than "I like it, but it is very different and more evocative of a scene than of a scent"! I'll have to try it again, but I may need to track down a bottle. My poor wallet

Sure, I'll give this a go! I'm a lawyer studying postgrad, with an interest in maritime law and international law. I adore reading fantasy and sci-fi novels (to the extent of having to give away hundreds of books because they just would not fit in my two metre tall bookcases) with particular interests in urban mythology, cyberpunk and space opera. I'm also fond of steampunk - I seem to really like my social examinations to take place with magical stuff alongside! I also play a lot of RPG games on my consoles, draw (terribly badly) and play several musical instruments.
