This is like rotting wet grape blunt wraps in a stale opium den. I really dislike grape!
-
I was unable to put this on my skin since it smelled like diaper rash cream. BPAL's lavender note is notoriously bad on me.

Smells like rugged man, freshly showered and slathered with an outdoorsy cologne. Black Forest is one the best forest scents I've smelled yet. It's a forest full of evergreens and wood. The ambergris doing something amazing to this blend in the dry down stage, there is still a lot of cypress and juniper but a sweet musk is developing. I kind of want a 5ml of this one.

The smell in the imp is that of a real rose with fresh-cut stem. This is so much more realistic than Rose Red, which was ice-pick in the brain intense. I don't even want to skin test it for fear that I will amp it and get a headache. It would make a lovely room scent.

Pungent juniper and pine trees and some dirt. It's like the smell of concentrated forest, which is interesting to smell. I think this would have been something I could wear, but there's a menthol note that's turning it into Ben-Gay.

I can't skin test this since lilies are one of the worst varieties of headache-inducing florals, but sniffing the imp, it's a sweet fruity floral. It smells like what a Bath & Body Works lotion would smell.

Playful, clean, refreshing sweet green tea and herbal lemon. It's not something I'd wear but it clears my senses.

Sexy man's cologne, very much like JPG Le Male. I love the olive colored oil. This is classic spicy patchouli, woods, resin and musk. Saffron is a nice touch in this otherwise dark blend. The woods in the dry down remind me a little of Haloes. I wouldn't have expected to love this but I do!

I haven't smelled commercial bar soap in years, but this reminds me of Ivory or Dove. It's very watered down, and I can't imagine this being a "powerful attractant", but you sure will smell clean.

I'm patiently waiting for butterfly/moth label pix...

I'm surprised I never reviewed this before, being that I get an imp of it like once every other month. It's like it knows I hate it so it keeps coming back. I never skin tested it because it was all soapy jasmine and other perfumey floral notes. It's like a floral bug spray.

Every note stands out, especially the oils, leather and anise. I even get the metallic notes. There has to be clove in here although it's not listed, because it reminds me of Saqqara v2 with leather/oils/metal. Masculine but wearable for a woman, and I kind of want a bottle just for the name. -
What a spazzed out perfume! I can smell chocolate peppermint on the unopened imp. Inside, it's sweet pink grapefruit, lime effervescence, juicy tangerine and lavender. The oakmoss gives it a cologne edge. Interesting, but not for me.

Sharp sandalwood, rosewood, and citrus. It's a woody floral and very perfumey.

This is one of those florals that I don't hate. It reminds me of a flower I've smelled before that I can't place. Lilac? Hyacinth? Honeysuckle? It's clean but not soapy, but not something I'd wear.

BPAL dirt is the best! The oil in this imp was light yellow with a nasty green sludge at the bottom (real mud?) At first, it smelled exactly like Graveyard Dirt, but when I rolled the imp to distribute the "mud", it opened up a freshly dug dirt smell with sweet floral. There's some amber and warm spices as a base, because I'm getting a lovely resin scent on my skin as it dries. This isn't something I'd get a bottle of, but I'll keep the imp next to Zombi for whenever I need my dirt fix.

I don't get anything other than smokey vetiver here. Well, a bit of tangerine which is out of place and it makes me a little ill.
-
Overpowering lilac, lily of the valley and dragon's blood. These kind of florals give me headaches.

Being a grapefruit fan, I'm always looking for the HG grapefruit. I was finally frimped one of these! There are a lot of notes, some of which are florals which are guaranteed to turn into soapy powder. I'm hoping the amber and guava save the day. Imp...soapy floral. Skin...soapy floral with tart white grapefruit. There's some sweetness from guava and warmth from amber, but I'm disappointed. Several minutes later, the amber and guava have stuck around and the grapefruit is turning into a more pink grapefruit. It's okay, not my favorite.

I received this as a frimp from Puddin in my eBay package. It's a watery, green floral, but I'm not a fan of those so I can't really pick out the notes.
-
This is almost single note gin. It's a little aquatic, and fizzy with a bit of citrus like Alka-Seltzer.
-
White grapefruit and white tea. The apple blossom is making this soapy. Ugh, florals just ruin things most of the time. Still looking for that holy-grail grapefruit scent...

This has been in the imp box for months and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. I think I'll love it because it has two sandalwoods, but iris can get soapy/powdery so we'll see. I smells like woods and grass in the imp. On my skin, the iris comes out but it's not piercing my brain with floral overkill. It smells very clean, like a sandalwood soap I had once. I think this is a pretty, classic perfume and I like to smell it, but it's not something I'd normally wear.

The sublimely beautiful, fiercely independent, impeccably cultured, fascinatingly worldly and witty courtesans of ancient Greece. A seductive and dazzling blend of golden honey, fiery patchouli, sweet fig and clove, and a blushing touch of ylang ylang. I've had this in the imp box for a year and never reviewed it. I love honey but this one isn't my favorite. It's honey-lightly dusted with pollen, patchouli and clove. I really dislike the Lab's fig note and I can detect it here, giving an earthy-dirty smell. I've loved heavy opium & myrrh scents since I was a teen, so Darkness isn't really that heavy to me. It's along the same vein as Butter Arsenic...sweet, heavy resins. I dislike florals and narcissus is usually something that makes me sneeze, but it's really working with the opium and myrrh. It does get powdery on the dry down, but it's resin powder vs floral powder and that's A Good Thing.
