I almost passed on this one so I could get two bottles of Marshmallow Chick, but then my curiosity won out and it ended up in my basket. I'm seriously glad that it did because this is one lovely blend. It is candyish and because of the toothsome citrus notes, it does give off 'pastel' vibes. I get tangerine, lemon, lime... it's very sweet but not too sweet due to the zip! from the citrus. Pastel Basket Grass basically smells like a big bag of sour Skittles. And that ain't bad at all. *thumbs up*

Who the hell doesn't go mad for Cadbury's Creme Eggs?? They are one of the nicest chocolate confections my country has to offer and there can be nothing sweeter or more enjoyable that eating one of these with a nice, strong cup of tea. Bliss! Melty Creme Egg smells *exactly* like it should... to such extents that I'm wondering who Beth sold her soul to in order to have such unbelievable perfume blending abilities. I make perfume myself but would have *no idea* how to create that delicious yellow and white fondant middle of a Creme Egg. The chocolate note is perfection as always but it's the fondant note that wins for me, mainly because of how unique and evocative it is. And now I medically need a Creme Egg and a cup of tea for reals.

Beth's chocolate perfumes are the best chocolate perfumes in the world - just sayin'. With that in mind, I knew that Earless Chocolate Bunny would be killer. I bought it for that reason and for the fact that my husband and I have a silly in-joke about chocolate bunnies and so I couldn't miss the opportunity to both honour that and smell like chocolate. I do get a little bit of the tinfoil, but not much. On me, this is DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE HEAVEN. It has decent through and longevity too. Winning!

So many notes of win. Oh my word, I can't even. The strawberry is very candyish - like strawberry Millions or Chewits. Sugar-strawberry-perfection. YAS. Then I'm getting the cherry blossom, the cream note and the vanilla. Sweetness beyond compare. The red musk is in there, but she's not going to serve her usual heart-stopping sensuality just yet, I don't think. She needs some time to settle in and marry with her sisters. When this blend has aged, I expect that the red musk will be deep and dark - toning down the brighter, pinker notes. All in all, a very delicious and toothsome scent.

Hot damn, this is a winner on me. I bought it because I anticipated it to be a cousin to Dorian and though it kinda is, it's also radically different. The honey note is absolutely spot-on. So is the lime. I'm not getting too much lilac, to be honest. It is mainly a honey-lime musk that is sweet and enticing, as well as being very fresh and easy to wear. The main thing I'm excited about is how perfect the honey note is. I love honey perfumes and this one is very accurate. So much so, that I keep re-applying because I really cannot get enough. Stunning!

I blind bought this mainly because I felt like trying a new GC after years of sticking to my long-time favourites and also because I enjoyed the concept of a blood perfume. On me, the blend is mainly dragon's blood but with a kick of spicy clove. I get much more cherry on the drydown, but it's the dragon's blood note that sings the loudest by far. Very sultry and sexy. Love it.

Ah, I really wish I had bought more than one bottle of this! I am a slut for marshmallow blends and this has to be one of Beth's best! It is quite literally the scent of fluffy, floofy marshmallows. It's practically a single-note blend on me and I just love it. Very sugary and creamy and utterly delightful. A brilliant candy blend. Insta-favourite! <3

On me, this is a very dark and delicious floral. Rose can be a bit hit-and-miss on me, but in this blend it's very voluptuous and alluring. Not getting much vetivert, but I do get oodles of patchouli and honey - win! When I've been wearing The Balcony for over an hour, it is predominantly a patchouli and rose scent. It's divine and I keep huffing my wrist. Gorgeous!

Pure milk chocolate and double cream on me. A touch drier than Bliss, but that's okay. The staying power is immense and so is the throw. A brilliant, perfect chocolate perfume.

A light and sweet snow single note. This is very, very nice indeed. In the bottle, it has an almost fizzy quality to it. It's cold and effervescent and makes my nose tingle. There isn't an obvious mint note, as far as I can tell. Or not at this stage in testing anyway. The coldness from it is quite unique. Wet on my wrist, the fizziness really pops. This is actually rather soft and not at all chilling. It is starting to remind me a great deal of Go To Sleep, Darlings and then... out of nowhere... the mint jumps up. It's quite startling really, how it's so hard to detect in the bottle and then how it leaps out and says 'HEY, GURL.' So we get tingling mint and then that starts to calm down, thankfully. By the drydown, we have returned to a soft, fizzy and beautiful snow perfume. This is gorgeous. Also worth mentioning - my husband walked in whilst I was working with this one and he immediately stopped in his tracks and asked 'what is that? it smells gorgeous!' So given he was standing about ten feet away from me, the throw is seriously impressive!!

Would someone mind telling me HOW I have lived without this scent in my life? I'm freaking out. Send help. It is the perfect vanilla scent. Yes, we've got the saffron and cream too but on me, it is smooth and silky vanilla. It has a sort of clean edge to it too. Forgive me for not being more descriptive with that, but it's hard to explain. Like clean, silken bed sheets that had been spritzed with vanilla absolute.

Gosh, this is wonderful. Dark and woody and underscored with black musk win. I have a bit of an obsession with letting my BPAL age before I use it (especially if it has patchouli, musk or wood notes) but this one is too good to immediately stow away in a dark place. Only a little is needed for amazing throw and it lasts and lasts like woah. Absolutely gorgeous. Smoky and sultry and... yeah. I'm hooked!!

This is my number one favourite out of all of the pies. And of course it is. Marshmallow is one of my all-time favourite perfume notes. For me, the top note is cookie. I get chocolate chip cookies like woah when I open the bottle. On my wrist, it becomes all-marshmallow-all-the-time-marshmallow and then the cookie returns, along with the pie crust. The chocolate sings a little louder and then it all balances out into foodie paradise heaven. I want to swim around in a pool filled with this and then I want to eat slices of this pie until my teeth ache. Perfection.

This is my second favourite out of all the pies. My husband makes the best key lime pie in all the world, so I had heart-eyes when ordering it. It does not disappoint in the least. A blast of fresh, zingy lime leaps out of the bottle to spank my nose. On my wrist, it's creamy... soooo creamy.... and then we get the tasty pie crust. As it dries, the notes mingle together and I'm huffing like mad. The throw is quite wonderful. It The lime stays true even an hour later and the creaminess stays put also, something that doesn't always happen for me. This is effing fantastic. Not one to miss, for those who enjoy their gourmand blends.

Pretty sure this is the same banana cream pie from Splatter Comedy! That much is a massive WIN. Before discovering BPAL, I would *never* have said I could enjoy a banana perfume. Splatter Comedy proved me wrong and this one just cements that face that banana perfumes can be absolutely gorgeous in every way. Sweet and fun and silly. This is simply banana-cream-pie crust and in its simplicity, there is pure pleasure. I adore this. One of my favourites from this update.

Gosh, the blueberry note in this is to die for. It works so well with the cream. I've never eaten real blueberry cream pie, but if it's anything like this perfume I can imagine it's the most delicious dessert in all the world. This reminds me of Bones Trombone, but it's sweeter and softer and much more fruity. It's more blueberry cream than pie crust, but that's just fine

This was the only one out of the set that I had reservations about but because I'd already added the other six to my basket, I couldn't leave it on its own. Ripe, honeyed peach. Buttery pie crust. It invokes summer days and toothsome treats. This is so sweet, it's romantic. I adore this <3

I expected this to be a lot like Mother Shub's Pumpkin Pecan Treacle Tarts but it really isn't. It has a very fruity top note that was a total (pleasant!) surprise. The pecan and pie crust come out during the dry down and when it's all settled, it's the MOST perfect pecan pie perfume in the world. And of course it is. It's made by goblins!

Straight-up apple pie. Sweet apples, cinnamon, a slightly creamy/custardy note and pie crust. I am so glad I bought this. Lovely.
-
I've been using this so much since I got it. It's just the most perfect room spray, really. Evocative of Halloween and warm, cosy autumnal nights. The spice is spot-on, the pumpkin note is buttery and true. Delightful in every way.
-
This is exactly the same as the perfume oil that was released at the same time. Pumpkin cupcake, cream cheese frosting, a hint of carrot-cakey-goodness and general foodie awesomeness. I will be bathing with this and slathering it as a body oil too. VERY nice.

Super similar to Silkybat but with a little bit of coconut Absolutely gorgeous.

I have a TON of BPTP atmosphere sprays and most of them tend to be 1) spooky or 2) musky and sexy. What I really wanted was something fruity and pink and girly and a bit silly too. That is what I found in the incomparable Zombie Moon. This is an explosion of cherry ice cream and dazzling Barbie-doll-pinkness. I've got vanilla there, a tiny smidgen of coconut and a SMACKINTHEFACEBYADRAGQUEEN cherry. This room spray makes me smile so much because it's just so much fun! It does not take itself seriously in any way, shape or form and it's so beautiful and delicious too. I wish I'd bought more than one bottle because I know I'm going to tear through this one in no time. Effing fabulous.

I decided to save this one for a day when it had rained and I was in the mood for hot chocolate. Last week, I took my greyhound out for a walk and as we went about our usual adventures together, the skies opened and it poured it down with rain. When we got home, I made cocoa and I crammed my mug with vegan marshmallows. Yummy, much? Uh, YES. Perfect way to warm up from a cold autumn day too. Muddy Puddles smells of what I've just described though it has to be said that the main notes are the chocolate and the marshmallow. I only get the tiniest hint of an aquatic note and no mud at all. It is a lot like the GC blend Bliss but with oodles of marshmallowy goodness too. If you are a fan of Beth or Ted's chocolate blends, then I implore you not to miss out on this. It's truly gorgeous. The sentiment behind it is beautiful and the execution of this blend is absolutely perfect. This is wonderful. 10/10.

I'm not really getting jellybeans from this, but you know what? That's okay. I bought this because I very much fancied having a popcorn blend around. I love eating popcorn and I adore the scent of it too. Movie Night is the BEST popcorn perfume EVER. The popcorn is all there - sweet and salty at the same time, fluffy and yellow, delicious and buttery and evocative of happy times in movie theatres or time spent cuddled up with my husband at home in front of a good film. This is a seriously nice and foodie blend. It stays true on the skin and is happymaking due to the positive associations. I love this! <3
