In Bottle: Sugary red cherries, almost sickly sweet. Wet: Deeper tones of wood come out and quickly balance the sugared sweetness. Dry: A complex melody. The fruit creates a subtle sweet layer over the rich wood foundation. Simply scrumptious without being foodie. Notes: I love Wonderland and plan on trying all the scents at some point but I have to say that the Red Queen’s description was the one that appealed most to me and was one of the first ones BPal imps I tried. The scent definitely fits the description. This is easily one of my favorite concept scents and would be great for anyone who likes cherry!

In bottle: Mint, pistachio and chocolate in a lovely creamy mixture. Wet: Pistachio, oakmoss and cedar with a hint of minty milk chocolate underneath. Dry: The chocolate fades to a light sweetness underlying the wonderful combination of pistachio and oakmoss/cedar. Notes: A gentle and inviting scent, perfect for putting unsuspecting fishies at their ease! If you are a fan of less foody chocolate notes and woodland/green scents this would probably be a good choice for you to try.

In bottle: Honey softened by milk with just a touch of rose based floral. Wet: The milk and honey are a beautiful soft blend with the florals fading into just a whisper. Light, sweet and airy. Dry: The milk and honey fade and the florals take dominance after a while. It’s still a soft scent, very feminine. Notes: I love the opening smell. I’m a little ambivalent about the florals in it but it keeps morphing between the florals which I’m okay but not in love with and the honey and milk smell which I’m adoring. May need to try it a few times before I can make up my mind on this one.

In bottle: A powerful herbal musky scent. Delightfully complex. Wet: A clean musk, redolent with herbs and an almost woodland magic. Dry: A touch powdery, slightly sweet, slightly spicy, very herbal. Absolutely wonderful. Notes: A great scent for those who love the woods. It puts me in mind of ancient rituals performed deep in a primeval forest. The herbs give it a feel similar to incense and overlay that wonderful musk.

In bottle: Wow. This is a wonderfully complex scent from the first moment you open the bottle. It’s difficult to pick out any of the individual notes other then the chocolate. The tobacco, honey, and balsam are this wonderful layer of insulation that beats the crap out of the florals and plays beautifully with the dark chocolate to keep it from being “foodie”. Wet: This scent is a lot less in your face then I thought it would be from its “in bottle” smell. The chocolate is indeed dark and the blend of florals adds a gentle femininity to it while the tobacco, balsam and honey ground the whole for a very earthy feel. Sadly I get no red wine from the mix, it may be too well blended into the florals for me to distinguish it. It is a lot softer then I had hoped. Dry: A light throw, with florals overlying the chocolate. I really wanted to like this one. I really did. Like Alice the florals keep me from being able to fall in love with it however. Notes: The whole of the parts definitely triumphs here. It is tantalizingly seductive, whispering dark and secret mysteries with a face feminine, yet deep and terrible.

In Bottle: This smells pretty darn good. The main scent reminds me of fresh turned earth and dark green foliage. I think the main note is the juniper and if so I am hooked, cause it's definitely a great crisp scent. Wet: A fresh earthy smell. Ever so slightly floral and almost minty. I'm not really getting any of the patchouli which is good. Dry: It actually smells more herbal then floral at this point. I'm not sure if there is actually mint or eucalyptus in there but my nose sure seems to think there is. Still has that fresh earth scent lying underneath but that appears to be quickly fading. I have a feeling that like Danse Macabre this will not be a long lasting scent. Notes: This scent feels a lot cleaner then I what I conjured up from the name and description. I was expecting more moist dirt and less herb or an almost staggering floral scent. A nice earthy scent.

In bottle: A light, floral scent underneath a storm front of rain. It brings to mind an early morning shower in a blossoming flower garden filled with pink and white flowers. Wet: It’s a soft floral smell on me. While I don’t normally like floral scents, the rose and lily combination under the sharper rain smell isn’t causing the normal “omg fake flower perfume” reaction I’ve had to most commercial perfumes. It sort of reminds me of going to church when I was younger and the combination of perfumes that the women used to wear. Dry: I feel like I’ve just taken a shower using high quality flower scented soap. But I don’t hate it, I think due to the fact that the rain overtones keep the rose and lily in check. It actually smells a bit powdery dry. Notes: At no point did I get a funeral vibe from it all, though while wet it did make me think of church. Not really my preference for scents with the floral coming to the fore on me.

A mournful, poignant scent, thick with foreboding. Soft golden amber darkened with a touch of murky black musk. In the bottle: Nose full of musk with just a touch of sweetness from the amber. Wet: The musk quickly mellows out and turns mostly amber. Dry: The musk is keeping it from going too sweet which is nice. It has a pretty strong start and good lasting power. Notes: The smell definitely brings thoughts of rituals and incense to mind. Should be a win for anyone who enjoys a wonderful amber note...

In bottle: This one is pretty hard for me to identify as I'm not familiar with many of the scents stated in the description. It reminds me of a fresh cut pine bough that has been smothered in moss to cut back on the scent. It makes me think of a unlit funereal pyre out in the woods. Wet: Woodsy, almost like fresh pine. A very wet coniferous forest sort of smell with a sharp note that I can't quite identify. Dry: The sharp note has faded and the pine receded as well. Somehow a soft sweet note has come to the foreground, maybe the frankincense? It's more incense then floral. My skin seems to be quickly devouring it but it still has a wonderful woodsy-ness to it. Depending on it's staying power, this could easily become a personal scent. Notes: This was a little more woodsy and less earthy then I wanted for my original purpose. It puts me in mind of a stumbling upon a ancient tomb creeping with vines or funeral pyre in a dry dark coniferous forest. Definitely a keeper.

I'm a firm believer in trying anything that comes my way though I'm not a huge fan of florals. In Bottle: On first sniff the rose is almost overpowering. Second and third sniffs show a bit of toning with the mosses but the rose is worryingly strong. Wet: Rose, rose and more rose. Dry: The moss tones down the rose rather quickly thankfully. Except for that lack of a real earthy note popping with my chemistry, the description seems pretty dead on. I can't say I'm a big fan of this one for myself though I can see how it would appeal to others.
