2020 version. I’ve been into BPAL for years but Suck It has never been on my radar since I have similar weenies like Yipe and Ghoulish. But OMG THIS IS THE GUMMY WORM PERFUME OF MY DREAMS. It smells like sticking your nose into a freshly opened bag of gummy candy. I don’t get much booze and it’s not nauseatingly sweet like some of the other candyesque oils. Upgrading to a full bottle for sure.

Lemony gingerbread with a dollop of vanilla and perhaps the faintest hint of coffee beans lurking underneath. I don't get any smokiness and the lack of coffee is disappointing. It's still nice though and I'll see what happens with age.

As performed by Griffiths Quadrille Band in a Mysteriously Effective Manner and Dedicated to all Lovers of “the Mysterious”. It really was a thing. Rose musk with pink and black pepper, a splash of bay rum, tobacco absolute, and toffee. In the bottle: Dark toffee with something sharp in the background, perhaps the rum. Fresh out of the mailbox this did not smell good but now that it's rested a bit it's much better. Wet on skin: The rose musk and the pink and black pepper come out. The pepper is making this unexpectedly spicy, almost a bit savory until the rum and tobacco come more to the foreground. Dry: I'm getting a sweet musky, spicy tobacco. I tend to amp sweetness so this would probably smell great on a man as well. I would imagine this will get even better with age.

In the bottle it smells like almond/cherry/vanilla heaven. Once applied to the skin, it morphs into a very dry and very strong leather but not the black leather that I get from many of the other leather scents. This leather is rather brown. Once dry the leather calms down and the amber peaks through. It's a nice scent but not quite what I was expecting, very masculine but not so much that I wouldn't wear it. I'm looking forward to what aging will do to this.

I get absolutely no sandlewood in the imp or on my skin. I do however get punched in the face with LILAC! Ugh I hate lilac. I hope aging will bring out the sandlewood.

In the imp I can smell the bread, sugar, butter, and bit of tea but on my skin it turned to SOAP and an itty itty bit of butter. The soap smell is probably the tea amping. I will re-try and update at a different time of the month to make sure it's not some hormonal thing causing my chemistry to turn this into soap.

In the imp: Buttery cake with just a hint of sour currants Wet on skin: The rose comes out and mixes with the butter and cake Dry: I amp rose like crazy so this is all rose and maybe just a hint of cake if I sniff my wrists closely. This is one of the few bpal blends with rose that I can wear since my skin nauseatingly amps it. I'll keep the imp.

Wet: Butterscotch and strawberry jam. I want to eat myself. Dry: The butterscoth scent morphs into just a light sugary scent. The strawberry becomes a bit plasticy. I'm going to let this one age a bit and see if the plastic goes away. Even with the plastic strawberry it's still delicious. Also this oil doesn't ever really seem to sink into my skin. It's not a problem but just kind of strange. I give this oil a B for braaaaaaains.

I'm reviewing this one from memory as I had slathered myself in this oil on a night that I got food poisoning and I can't stand to smell it anymore due to bad scent associations. Wet: ooooo this is all Irish Spring! Dry: This becomes less Irish Spring and more of a swirling deep blue-green salty aquatic. Beautiful. I really loved this. Sigh....

Wet on skin: Bizarre and medicinal, there isn't a single note I can pick out although there is something in there that reminds me of an old Yves St. Laurent perfume that my grandmother wore. Whatever the medicinal smell is reminds me destruction, like standing from afar watching a city on fire but without any hint of a smoky smell. The color that comes to mind when sniffing this is a smoky black with just a hint of green. . Drydown: Some green fruit comes out. I can pick out a bit of green apple but that is all. Dry on skin: The medicinal smell fades and the smoky black feel softens. Eventually the green apple hides. I'm beginning to smell a bit of clove and dry woods, sandlewood perhaps. The dry phase reminds me of the aftermath of a huge fire that destroyed an ancient city. Verdict: It's amazing how Beth has captured the feel of total destruction in a scent. Unfortunately it's totally not me but is very interesting to sniff.

Wet on skin: strong herbal tea and dish soap Drydown: The soapiness starts to fade and begins to smells like sweetened green tea Dry on skin: I smell like a dryer sheet! Verdict: Soft and fresh but not long lasting on my skin. I think I will try this in an oil burner as it would make a lovely home fragrance.
