I'm finding there's a certain type of quiet peace in doing certain household chores. The laundry, in this case. The repetitive motions of gathering clothes, pulling sheets from the bed, prepping the washer...it's almost meditative. And in the mid-morning solitude of my apartment, these basic chores are actually rather...pleasant.
