In response to the continual emphasis on the fact that it was the military, not the President, who killed OBL:"OMG, you mean the President didn't slip out of the country by cloak of night, commandeer an Iron Man suit, drop out of the Pakistani skies in a blaze of red-white-and-blue and single-handedly kill Osama Bin Laden? Interesting...it seems that tanning can be an addiction. Studies are showing that in some individuals, it stimulates the same parts of the brain as alcohol and various drugs. Anyone besides me know someone who is "tanorexic?"

is a bit worried about the number of comments he's seen on the 'net regarding the earthquake in Japan. People seem to think we shouldn't help them or pray for them because this is some sort of God-engineered payback for Pearl Harbor. It's been what, almost 70 years? Never forget what happened, but learn to forgive. They are people, and they need our help. That's ALL that matters.

is even more amazed by the strength and dignity of the Japanese people during a crisis. There have been NO reports of looting, burglary, or any of the crimes normally associated with a disaster like what they've been through. When was the last time you could say that about the U.S.?

is seriously perturbed by the number of people who are buying into the current conspiracy theory nonsense. No, I don't think Obama is trying to tear apart the nation. Want to know what's tearing apart the nation? Go look in the mirror and out on the streets. It's not the politicians-it's all you and me. Let's change ourselves first, and the problems will (mostly) resolve themselves.
