I'm glad to see i'm in good company here: this is the first frankincense dominant perfume that i can wear! I love In Templum Dei. I am sitting on my couch listening to the song as i enjoy the drydown. This is truly special- feels sacred but whimsical, if that makes sense. The frankincense is strong at first but ultimately gives way to liquidambar's spicy, vanilla-ish loveliness. I may need a third bottle of this before it sells out.

The Sasquets ancestral estate: vast dark halls of stone threaded by cascading rivulets of beeswax, and the scent of snow-laden fireweed, Pacific silver fir, thick mounds of vibrant green moss, purple lupine, Pacific bleeding heart, and lava ash. Um...this is fantastic. The Lab's chilly, yet comforting stone note with LUPINE! And moss and other light flowers...gorgeous. And then the beeswax comes out and stomps and pees all over everything. Crap. :-(

Wow. I have worn Ava quite a bit since i first got my bottle and she is aging beautifully. The oil is getting thicker and my skin sucks it up somehow! But it smells SO good...expensive, shallow, beautiful, selfish and a gorgeous blend. I wish i could say that i can discern any listed notes but i can't. I guess if i REALLY try, i can tell the mandarin and almond are floating in the vanilla and the tuberose fits in nicely. Beautiful and i am glad to have my bottles.

This is my favorite Pumpkin. Wet, it is all pumpkin spice woah but dry? Delicious ginger spice tea with a hint of pumpkin...exactly what i had hoped for. I cannot stop huffing my wrists and i will be buying a backup. Note: bpal black tea normally goes foul licorice on me but not here!!!

French lavender, white plum blossom, white ginger, and rice wine. I just got this in the mail and wanted to share my initial impression, this usually changes but: Lavender is most prominent in bottle and wet on skin. Its not a TKO lavender but closer to the lavender in Needlework and A Nocturnal Reverie. Actually, this has a very similar vibe to Needlework. Dry - I get a hint of ginger and a nice soft hit of the rice wine. In short, if you think you will like this, get it. There are no surprises here if you like the notes involved. I think it is pretty now and may very well turn into a drop dead stunner in a few months time. ETA: After an hour the plum comes out! This scent has a gorgeous waft...it will certainly age well!

I am SO smart...but late. I got a decant last year...just put some on tonight and i really hope this comes back this year because woah i am smart now and will buy a bottle, or two. This rose is everything a rose perfume should be. I love Rose Red for her bright, crisp dewy loveliness, and i love Peacock Queen for being her sexy, voluptuous older sister. Wow...this is beautiful, true velvety rose scent and i love it.

I received my 2nd hg a few days ago but wanted to let it decide when it had settled down :-p On first spritz i couldn't decide if this smelled more like Independent (fizzy lemon-lime) or if there was an evergreenish note in there too... I still can't decide. This is nice but i am not sure it will go with anything i wear... Edited to add the number! XCVI :-)

You know, i wasn't sure if i liked Morning in New Orleans until just a few minutes ago...when i stopped thinking that its supposed to smell like coffee but it really doesn't blah blah and just smelled the perfume for what it smells like. GAH it is beautiful! It would fit right in the Parfumerie Generale line of perfumes, if they made oils. Holy crap, what a masterpiece. It is 'coffee-ish' but so.much.more.

I'm wearing Virginia to sleep tonight and i haven't worn her in quite a while, so i came here to check notes and my review only i never wrote one. Huh. Virginia, like many folks have said, is similar to Mircalla and Marianne most (i'm thinking musk + black orchid) and i adore all three. I checked to see if i still had my backup bottle and kinda freaked out when i realized i no longer have one and my bottle is 1/3 full!!! This is beautiful and my skin chemistry loves it. Another winner.

I am confused. The waft from this is beautiful, Autumnal and warm. Up close it smells terrible. This reminds me of Samhain and Autumn and i like Autumn best so this will hopefully go to a loving home. Dry down doesn't smell terrible anymore but i don't smell anything magnificent here. I will stick to the leafy scents! :-)

I would love this in bath oil or hair gloss form The candle smells beautiful unlit and i can smell the lavender, cedar and fig, in that order. I may not light this because i tend to get more scent throw from these candles when they aren't lit.
-
Aw. This smelled so beautiful before i lit it. After lighting it has barely any throw, but the scent is wonderful. Piney with a hint of incense that i can't describe.

I was a bit worried reading reviews but i love this. Yes, it is candy sweet in the bottle but turns musky and dark and beautiful on my skin after 10 minutes. This one is gonna change with age and i am looking forward to the journey. :-) So glad to have a bottle.

I got LXXI. It smells great, but my nose is completely failing me...my first thought was candy corn but im not so sure. :-) What a cool experience. ETA: after spraying the hell out of my hair with this yummy hair gloss last night, i think there might be a cherry note and possibly a pastry note? It is delicious smelling.

Allspice, nutmeg, clove. Eh. I was hoping for ginger and cinnamon but this is ok, just not something i will wear.

Im scared. I hate honey and was really hoping it would be a minor player and i am so sad reading all of the reviews...hate honey.I am staring at my bottle right.now. and am telling it to be more cinnamon, patchouli and vanilla which are three of my five favorite notes. I will edit this post to add my review tonight...if i can get up the courage... Editing to add my review... Well then, why was i scared?! This is gorgeous patchouli sweetened by the vanilla and a touch of cinnamon honey. This is GORGEOUS! I love it and am so glad i took a chance!!!

This is perfect...light, airy green and yellow leaves falling from the branches...no sap, no cologne, no musk. Backup bottle needed!
-
I was hoping this would be the year :'-( My skin must not like something in this blend...i don't smell anything like apples or any patchouli, just medicinal ick. So sad...i guess that was my last attempt as none i have tried have worked on me.

A gossamer armor: seemingly delicate, but as strong as adamant. Opalescent vanilla-infused benzoin with silvered iris, white patchouli, mimosa blossom, and white musk. I must be smelling the florals here...must be the mimosa blossom and a touch of iris giving the blend that lift that iris gives (lovely) but I don't smell vanilla, benzoin and I might be smelling a bit of white patchouli. I'm sure with aging they will come forth, but not now, not yet. This is extremely Vernal, in my humble opinion, and I will be putting the atmo and hair gloss away until next year and am looking forward to it already. Beautiful. I wanted to edit - I sprayed this a few minutes ago and it is amazing how much different this scent is in just a week or two of settling! NOW I definitely smell a lovely combo of Iris, white musk and white patchouli with some slightly dry, spicy vanilla. Forget what I said about waiting for Spring...this will get much use now. Just as beautiful, but now the full experience.

Well, of all of the perfect things that could have landed on my erm, mailbox today!!! This is my hairgloss holy grail hghg lol! Dark, autumn fallen leaves with a subtle and clean patchouli beneath them. There goes my $$...i need a few more bottles. This should age beautifully and will layer perfectly with October, Harvest Moon '13, Devils Night, Sonnet D'Automne and other fine leafy perfumes. I love this. It is perfection: Autumn in a bottle. Reminds me of the Dead leaves and Desolation candle more than Autumn Grove atmo if that helps. :-) THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS! :-)

This is gorgeous. Dry woods sweetened very slightly by the white patchouli (which smells nothing like pogestemon cablin, aka true patchouli) and vanilla. I adore white patchouli! Im excited that note is getting more and more use...i thank Tom Ford... :-)

The newest addition to my top 10. This smells like something from my childhood...and i love it. I guess the cotton translates to dryer sheet, but these would be the most fantastic dryer sheets ever made. At first all i smell is lavender (same as in the bottle) and then the bergamot and hinoki meet the lavender and pull it behind the cotton blossoms...and this is so beautiful. Im very glad to have a bottle and am contemplating another.

Hollywood Babylon minus the musks. Holy crap this is beautiful! Cherry/Strawberry yum...and dark, almost chewy but not musky. -
This has aged so well! Lust, with spicy cocoa...yum.

I'm also getting the plum vibe! I'm so glad to see that Gateau had already said this! I'm going through and retesting all of the imps/decants and I just retired Daya after a few years. I knew I didn't want to part with my last imp of Daya, but I also haven't reached for the imp in those few years... This is a gorgeous bright, warm, perfumey perfume - very pleasant wafts from my wrist keep reaching my nose and I keep sniffing my wrist to make sure it is really Daya...it is. If this is ever released in a more substantial size, I will definitely buy it. This is perfect for the last hurrah of Summer and into Autumn...love this.
