  1. Mysterious evergreen forest.

The boyfriend's assessment was: "You smell like a heavily perfumed woman meeting a man in a smokey lounge-bar... you stink good." So if you're into that sort of thing... awesome?

I brush four spritzes through the ends of my hair at night, and by morning I can still smell it if I put my nose in my hair, but I don't feel like I'm blatantly disregarding the fragrance-free request of my workplace.

  2. When wet this was threatening to give me a headache, but it seems to have calmed down a bit. A much cleaner smelling scent than I was expecting. Sitting at the computer I can smell it wafting up from my arm, so I'd say it has pretty good throw.

I can't pick out the single notes, largely because I'm not familiar with the floral components of it, though it is floral. It reminds me of a warm-cool summer evening, and the iridescent sheen on soap bubbles.

  3. What started out as spicy when wet is drying down into rose with a definite brown background. From arm's length away it's mostly rose, but upclose I can still smell a sort of spicy, pungent background. Overall it reminds me of an old farmhouse, though not in a bad way.

  4. October 2010

The first time I tried it, I remember thinking that it was very sharp and aquatic. 5 months later, it's mellowed out quite nicely. Still slightly aquatic, but warmer with dry leaves. I like it so much! It really does evoke the feeling of October.

(as a note: colour association - Jade green, though it doesn't smell "green" in the sense of herb-y)

  5. I can't pick out any specific notes, but I'm glad the jasmine's behaving (it has a tendency to go a little weird on me). I smell like one of my guy friends :P He does smell pretty good though, so it's not a bad thing! Clean, fresh, and cologne-y, with a nice hint of sweetness.

  6. Got this as a frimp from the Lab, and wasn't exactly sure what to expect...

This smells exactly like my grandparents' cottage! Not the building itself, but when you get out of the car after the long drive and breathe in the mulchy forest and lake smell. It's been making my smile all day, just because of that.

Apart from that, I can't really pick out anything specific besides lemon, and something underneath that reminds me of Calico Jack - which I'm guessing is leather, wood, and ozone.

Either way, I quite enjoy it, though it seems to fade quite quickly.

  7. I didn't really know what to expect from this (sadly having no idea what Dragon's Blood actually smells like :b ). It's quite floral, though I can't put my finger on what flower specifically. I was figuring it would be a red scent, but I'd actually describe it as white.

I think I like it, but I'm not sure it's really my kind of scent. I will certainly be testing again though!
