I know a lot of you don't like powdery scents but I love them, the more powdery the better. I've been away from BPAL for awhile, but I remember Whoso List to Hunt was nice and powdery. Can you suggest some more for me to try?

I'm getting mostly honey and olive blossom on a smooth, creamy base. It reminds me of an olive oil body cream I have, with just a touch of florals. Very rich and luxurious.

This was one of the Yules I was the most excited about. I love foody scents, and anything German. Unfortunately, I saw heavy cream, rice porridge and powdered clove notes and got excited and ignored the fact that candied fruit is listed as well. Fruit notes hardly ever work on me, and on my skin the fruit in this scent overpowered the other notes. It smells very dusty and grainy; like a previous reviewer said, it is a dead ringer for the scent of Fruit Loops. So sadly, this one is not for me.

I wore one of the new Yules, Jacob's Ladder, to Thanksgiving dinner. It's really resiny, complex, and seems kind of formal so I thought it would be good as a special occasion scent.

I'm trying Sybaris today and to me the drydown smells a lot like Guerlain Insolence minus the berry note.
