Favorite Scents
Incenses, woods and what mainstream fragrances call "exotic oriental" are my favorites. I also like aquatics and florals. I'll really try anything except foodies. I can't stand anise/licorice, pumpkin, cakes, marshmallow or anything really dessert-like. However, I do like to try wines, fizzy ginger-ale/champagne types, chocolates, spices (as long as it's not cookies/bakery-stuff), ginger and amazingly enough sugar. I think it's the creamy cake or butter that I really hate.

In the imp: mmm musky sweetness, perfume-y slightly dirty Wet: It's not as strong as one might suppose and that's not a bad thing here. I think a little goes a long way, especially if you were layering like the single notes are created for. It adds a sweetness, muskiness and salt. I think this is pretty unisex. It would be kinda sexy on either sex. I definitely get the woody/balsamic/tobacco thing going on but it doesn't seem like it is smoke or wood. Sweet musky is what I keep coming back to. Dry (after an hour or two): my skin eats scents pretty fast, this has dried done to salty sweet skin scent. I wished it lasted longer but I love it so much I don't care if I have to re-apply it over and over. Hopefully, aging will increase its longevity. Verdict: Love! Need a bottle. My French Tobacco was caramel-smoky sexiness, this is sweet-musky sexiness.

DANK TARN OF AUBER BATH OIL A gloomy, morose soak. Bog bean, oakmoss, bog myrtle, water hyssop, calla lily, water snowflake, bulrush, and marsh marigold swirling in dark, still water. I've only done two other reviews (both bath oils) so forgive me if this one is confusing, I'm not great at picking out scent notes. I thought this would smell darkly aquatic but this doesn't smell anything like that to me. I think what I'm smelling is the oakmoss. This smells spicy, warm and dark. If I had to guess without the description, I would say it smells like a lighter version of Spanked Revisited- very spicy like cinnamon/cardamom, very warming, a touch of some white floral and maybe some patchouli (but that could just be the spice/warm thing again. It's very strong on my skin, I'm not even sure I would use it as a moisturizer but I seriously can't wait to bathe in it. Ok, so after writing that I reapplied to my hand... I really get that white floral on contact and then the spice/warm takes over on the drydown... yep, I'm going to say it's Spanked Revisited w/o any leather but plus white florals

OMG, this is so good... I haven't tried the perfume yet but I tried half of the bath scents & this is my favorite so far. I couldn't remember what the notes were at the time so my brain interpreted this as tobacco flower, smoky & sexy. But as I read the notes I can see what it really is: frankincense and sandalwood- smoky & sexy. The rose & ylang ylang weren't clear for me (usually rose hits me over the head) but I definitely got a slight floral vibe but it's really slight for me. So good....

I expected more wine but this is very sweet grape candy to me. I'm not a fan of those scents & when I first applied it, I was really disappointed. But as it wore on (maybe an hour later?). The grape faded and I was left with a sweet skin scent. As long as it stays away from the grape candy, I like it but I'm not in love. It will be a nice bath scent I think but not a moisturizer for me.

I can't explain how delicious this is. Let me start with I'm not a foody person, I actually kind of hate vanilla unless it's just a background sweetener. I don't do cake or pastry scents. With that said, the cream is sweet & light almost vanilla buttercream frosting to my untrained nose. And it's perfect. It's slighty foody but really light and well creamy to be honest. I'm not sure if I smell amber or teak but it's a little powderly like amber can get (at one point it smelled like baby powder but as in a compliment). The lotus is a very light floral. In all, it's sweet creamy and lighty floral/foody. Delicious, mature and sweet. Will probably compliment everything. This is my first review, I just couldn't help myself.
