This is very sharp at first and I can smell pine very strongly. Then a tangy citrus scent permeates through, then as all scents mingle together and settle down onto my skin, the slight sweetness from the berry comes through. At first I was quite hesitent because of the strength of the pine but after everything settled down, it became quite lovely.

Let me start off by saying, normally amber scents and I dont get along. Theres something about the note which really hates my body chemistry. But this blend sounded so divine, being inspired by the great cat goddess, I had to give Bastet a go. My first impression was the cherry/almond scent I recognise more from Eclipse than anywehre else. Which imediately dies down into a golden scent. One minute later and my arm smells like luxury itself; the spices, musk and amber have changed into a golden aura which surrounds me, and like Andra, I cant stop smelling my arm its soo moreish and definitely a bigger bottle order.

This smells divine and initially smelling it from the bottle actually made me want to drink it. In the vial it smells very prominently of candy to me. After putting it on, the warm vanilla note is there but twisted up with a clean note. On myself both notes were fighting for dominance initially until 10 minutes when the scent had settled into a cotton candy clean scent. It lasts for quite a while but you only need a tiny amount of this scent to test it. The blend is very clean, delicate and sweet, and I never would have guessed the sweetness from the description.

The 2004 version works even better on me than 2003, it smells like coconut and vanilla. Much like Dana O'Shee and Lush's Snowcake as mentioned previously in the thread, which I'm ecstatic about as I love both scents. Its absolutely adorable and settles into a gentle mist of snow around me, its very festive and will be a favourite for the year to come.

This one is so weird, when I first heard about the limited editions, I had no idea what mistletoe would smell like, so I was quite hesitant about ordering it. But after the thought of a limited edition passing me by got to me, I caved in and ordered it. Its smells very asexual, almost ozone. Its definitely green and cold as a scent but there's a mysterious note in there (which I assume is the mistletoe), which keeps the whole thing very appealing. There's definitely an edge of sharpness here in this blend but the closest match of all my perfumes and bpal is this is akin to CK1. Its got that freshness and mystery aura going on. Its very lovely and my boyfriend actually really likes it on me (!!! *yay*). So I'll definitely be wearing this, this Christmas. ^^!

At first initially on myself, I got a citrus burst which gave the musk and fruits an edge to the blend. The fruits are quite nice in this, I found it comparable to an ice cool version of Midwinters Eve with citrus overtones. After 30 mins or so I found the citrus notes had faded into the background and I was left with an elegant gossamer scent. The musk is there as a thin base which empowers all the other elements in the blend, it is quite lovely. This worked so well on me, thank god I got two bottles. ^^!

This is absolutely divine, its similar to Morocco's spices but Scherezade adds her own red aura to this blend. Its very soft and subtle, and I can see why people have mentioned it as a skin scent. It reminds me of an alternative shop, the same smell when you walk through, that makes you realise that you really are in another world. Delicious!

This is very evocative of the autumnal season, wine, dead leaves and smoke. This settles into quite a sophisticated scent with decent sillage. I can also smell the slight animalistic note to it, hence the name, Hunter Moon. I adore this one, for some reason all the wine ones seem to work quite well with my body chemistry. Something I am infinitely grateful for

Initially in the bottle it smell like sweet almonds tinged with something vibrant. As I put it on, I get the promising almond scent but after a minute, an almost anise scent comes out which horrifically disagrees with my body chemistry, making me feel nauseous. Bleh, I really wanted to like this one.

Initially in the bottle I could smell a deep green scent of gardenia tinged with aquatic florals. When I put it on, unfortunately the gardenias took over and I couldnt smell anything else. I was dying to sniff the ginger, the musk, the blossoms but alas it was not meant to be. I will definitely have to give this another go though as other people's chemistry in this thread seems to have worked out more favourably than my own.

Evocative of the sea's unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk. Oh my, another BPAL which has floored me. From the description alone I got a 5ml I was sure I'd get along with this one (despite not knowing what the florentine iris would smell like). Its got a lovely sensual scent, which makes me feel so relaxed, ah perfection in a bottle. I cant smell the hazelnut much but I can smell the slight violet scent (presumably from the Iris) and coconut mainly. This is a perfect relaxing scent to calm down after a long day.

Wow this is delectable, initially it smells like the vibrantness of dragons resin and the smokey scent of tobacco. No chocolate for me, but this scent is very unique and I love the underlying resinous scent. Its quite a sophisticated scent, but I can totally see the imagery behind the perfume. Asbolutely delicious

Hmmn perhaps my sense of smell hasnt quite come back but this at the moment seems predominently cinamony with some sugar on top. I keep getting a sharp anise smell then the sweetness hits me, its an odd combination and normally I love sugary scents, I wonder whats going on here with my nose. I'll try again later when I'm better I think.

How grateful was I to hear this classic was brought back for Halloween *praises the lab goddess and her crew*, I finally got my bottle and even though my ears still havnt popped from the plane, and my sense of smell feels a little off, I adore this with all my heart. Samhain 2004 still is my joint favourite out of all the BPAL along with Midwinters Eve, it smells like spiced apple cider, with the woodsmoke background etching into my skin. I cant pinpoint the patchouli (for which I am infinitely grateful for), but everything else seems spot on. Absolutely delicious!

I have to admit I was tempted by the three in ones, but I settled on getting the Spiced Apples 3 in 1 big bottle as it layers PERFECTLY with Samhain (old one at least, not tried 04 version yet).

Initially it smells like a strong mintyish scent, I cant detect any other notes for the first minute whilst on me. After a while it settles down into a slightly sour mint note, I dont know precisely why I feel quite strongly against this. I think past associations with Pandora (the chaos!), have spiked me against liking mint scents on me personally. If I concentrate on sifting through the notes, then I can detect the lavender barely, but I get the feeling this oil is definitely meant for a man and not for delicate 'ol me. Gutted.

Red Rose, is a very wet dew-laden rose, it smells like freshly cut. Its that vibrant rose smell which is so wonderful about it. Whereas Old London is more of a tea rose, so a little more powdery, and a little less intense. But if I had the choice i'd prolly add my vote for the Red Rose, as mentioned a) This is the only time you'll prolly be able to get it and In the worst possible scenario that you dont like it, it'll be more easily tradable than Old London.

I would have to recommend Midwinters Eve if it ever comes back It smells like vibrant red juicy berries ^^! My joint favourite BPAL with Samhain.

First of all, the only single White Musk products I've known about are the The Body Shops, and theirs is a little sexless at times. So I thought why not try Beths white musk, after all it's one of my favourite notes. Initially when put on it smells buttery and a little musky. Though after the notes settle, the musk blends with your skin and creates a glorious melange which settles delicately on your skin doing wonderful things. The delicateness and lightness of this musk is unparalleled, and the end result is an elegant delicate musk which is a delight to test. I'm very glad I bought a bottle of this.

This is very plum initially, from a distance the aura from the blend is distinctly coconut vanilla with a hint of plum. Thankfully the wood note is hidden in the blend so far, though the white musk is grounding everything wonderfully. This is so delicious, I tried this both on myself and my boyf. On my boyfriend it's mingled with him wonderfully, and is much deeper and sexier on him. The wood notes has emerged more and its a little saltier on him than on me but it works amazingly well on both of us. ^^!

Got my Formula 54 bottle today and its adorable with the little wax seal. Its very fruity and dark, a little like the darkness of Perversion, but this is the ultimate in bad girl scent. The mood of this scent is very sexy and playful, awesome for wearing out to a club or just out generally! When I put this on, Formula 54 has this wonderful aura expanding around me. Its very intoxicating!

In the vial this is so peppery, my nose gets a little clogged up from smelling it. However initially on me this is creamy vanilla, which was one hell of a surprise considering how strong the pepper smelt. It did smell similar to O but where as O becomes too musky on my skin this stays creamy and vanilla'rish. As it settles a little more of the pepper accord comes into the scent and it brings a lot of vitality to the creamy vanilla note. This is so wonderful and powerful... this just rocks!

This is a very dark scent on me, it smells like... fire... or damp burnings. After it settles, it smells like ceder. Somethings very weird about this one (or more likely my body chemistry), but I definitely agree its very masculine. Too masculine for me at least *scampers back to Juilet*

This is an incredibly evocative scent, the mint, geranium and lavender are all fighting for first notes position. As it settles it becomes softer and a more herbal scent can be smelt. There are still the traces of the mint and geranium at the edges of the core which provides a distinct edge, quite apt for the Muse of Tradegy.

In the vial it smells like a bitter gardenia, after it's settled a little, the gardenia sweetens and the violet comes out, and bam(!) this is wonderful stuff. Two notes that usually mess up with chemistry have melded together and made a beautiful combination. My next step is to learn how to "use" this now
