This is really lovely, initially it smelt of soap but after a minute that passed, at the moment it smells very wet and green, honeysuckle comes to mind, now its a lush succulent floral, with a womanly bearing.

When it was initially put on the peach was the strongest part of the scent, but it smelled too synthesed. As the peach dried more the white musk and bergamot notes came through, and combined to make a wonderful airy scent with exactly the right balance of sweetness and light. This is a total mood changer! This is my favourite floral by far now!

I cant smell the cinamon in this scent, but I do smell the glorious roses. This is a wonderful rose scent. Harlot is a sexy fragrance, in a light floral teasing way.

As soon as I put this scent on, I wondered why I smelt like my mother and then I remembered her favourite scent is Poison by Christian Dior. I'm so stunned that Elizabeth has created such a hardcore version of the scent, I will definitely be passing this imp onto my mother when I next see her.

Like jj_j, the violet and iris are at first quite strong. But this scent reminds me of a lighter version of Veil. I cant wear Veil as it's too strong for me but this is the perfect weight (figuratively speaking) for this scent.

I get a powdery scent from Oneiroi, at first it was like other people mentioned the lavender smell was the most prominent, after a while it settled down and the jasmine came through. A lovely scent and quite relaxing. Bath bombs made of this scent would be awesome.

At first, a light airy floral fragrance which didnt smell contrived as other floral perfumes can. The jasmine scent is there but the rose and heliotrope keep it from becoming too heavey. I have found few jasmine scents I truely love, but this is a keeper. As it dries down, the rose and jasmine match each other evenly with the heliotrope sparkling through as an accent note. Its a light, sexy combination which works very well. Perfect for the summer.

This is so yummy, it smells like cherries and vanilla on me initially, the spiciness of the dragons resin tempers the scent as to not make it so cloying. As it dries down it turns more smokey, giving the oil a new dimension. Wonderful. This is a perfect combination for me and I will definitely be buying a larger bottle of this.

This works so well with my body, its a gorgeous soft sweet smell, gently tempered by a lush green scent. I put it on at night and 8 hours later when I checked my wrist, the smell had deepened into a stronger honey scent much to my surprise. Have already ordered a bigger bottle of this scent. ^^!!!!!!

Siren smelt very sharp in the bottle and for the first minute it was put on. As it dried down, it became too sweet for me. After an hour or so, it does smell remniscent of Angel (Thierry Muggler), when the vanilla jasmine notes are apparent. This part is gorgeous and worth the wait for. I think that the apricot makes it too sweet, I really wish I could smell the older version.

Lush to BPAL scent comparisons (BNever included too)
Astarte replied to Vanilla's topic in Recommendations
I've been going crazy trying to find a similar BPAL smell to Fairy Jasmine bath ballistic, and after ordering most of the Jasmine smells via imp, Dana O'Shee comes the closest to it! I couldnt believe it. -
Same happened to me, Lust turned more flowerly on me than anything else. People still noticed and complimented me, though this does nothing for me unlike other reviews. The smell is very distinctive with warm undertones, the patchouli and myrrh are prominent at first and then die down. Very skillfully crafted.

This smells a lot like pure jasmine to me, I thought that after loving Lushes's Fairy Jasmine bath bomb scent that I would love Jasmine... unfortunately I'm wrong. I can't smell the juniperberry yet but I'll definitely give it another try.

Gosh, This smells like my godmother, but I dont know how or why I associate this scent with her The violet really stands out for me, it smells like baby powder, but it feels very fresh and clean. I can definitely see the new born comparison smells. This is a very gentle female scent, but at the same time it's incredibly complex. It also reminds me of the smell of a greenhouse in Kew gardens but colder. Another impressive scent.

First of all, wow! This smell is amazing, on me I can smell the vanilla quite strongly though it's tempered by the spicy note. It smells raw, sexy and yummy all at once. The only problem is though that the yellow oil stains my wrists (I'm quite pale). Has anyone else had this problem?

Out of curiousity, has anyone had to pay customs on a package from BPAL who lives in the UK or is International.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils
Astarte replied to friendthegirl's topic in BPAL FAQs
Eclipse is my favourite oil at the moment and I just used up half an Imps Ear in making some scented lotion. I personally used E45 Lotion creme and now it takes away the stinging (the only stinging I had was on my neck). -
Nice! Running the lab full time would be the best thing which could happen for you. Hopefully your accountant can point you towards some business grants and so forth, try looking at your city councils website to see if they have anything which could apply to you.
-
Hi Michelle, Its nice to see you here! ^^!!!

Ah... Eclipse is like the sweetest oil ever, on intial impact all you can (and want to) smell are almonds. A few minutes later and a further spicy scent as it settles down. It works perfectly with my body to create a warm, inviting and comforting scent rolled into one. Definitely a foody smell and the vanilla note, I feel, gives the scent, the invitingness. Out of all the oils I've tried so far, this one has blew my breath away the most, will definitely be ordering a bigger bottle of this soon. :luvluv:

Hi Nella! It must be great, seeing the Lab in all its glory and helping out. Hope you enjoy your new job anyway!

Hi Elizabeth Like many I'm a newbie too, but I just want you to know, that you should take as long as you need. Maybe you should think about putting up a paypal donation link so that we as the forum could help you catch up. Personally I'd be quite happy to help out by donating some money for someone who is so caring and dedicated as yourself. It might even allow you some time away from the theatre to recharge As it sounds like you have *no* free time at the moment and thats crap.

This is a gorgeous scent, on me it started off smelling of lemon alcohol (if there was ever such a thing!) and now it's settled into a crisp floral scent which strongly reminds me of bubblegum of all things! To me it's very female and very gentle, this will be perfect for a summer scent. Its light, sexy and has a very soft bite to it which stops it being cloying.
-
When sniffing the bottle I can smell the almonds and rum and when first on I can still smell them. When it merges down I can smell a spicy note, very warm and sensual, almost musky. It reminds me of our goth market in Liverpool. The scent is incredibly familar Very odd, and my first scent from BPAL.

This is a little off topic but I just need to ask a question. I sent my order in by paypal cause I'm from England. Do we still get "Your Shipment has Shipped!" messages even though we're not using the main shop front or do we wake up and find a parcel on our doorstep.
