Imp: There's a dirty resinous scent here that I'm not positive about. There's also a fruity floral scent there. Wet: Oh wow, this is a damp, sweet floral! I'm assuming this is the stephanotis. The cypress I know already and can smell that. This is quite the bright floral! Dry: This is a sweet and dark floral. The mixture of the different scents is nice. I can't pick them all out seperately but I didn't do a horrible job at enjoying the different scents. Category: Floral Rating: 3.5/5; Nice floral Overall: This is a damp floral to wear in the deep summer months. I may keep this around to simulate the houthouse blooms I don't have growing in a garden I don't have. Didn't expect Hades to be so... damp and pretty... I guess. There is a bit of decay in water and darkness, but I guess I was expecting something darker.

... Deep cocoa laced with patchouli, leather armor, ritual incense, and a touch of Xochiquetzal’s flowers. Imp: WOW cocoa! First there's a hit of sweet florals then BAM! there's the dark chocolate. Wet: Now the cocoa is dirty, the patchouli comes in and the incense wafts up. I'm reminded of the harsh metallic blood smell of Dracul. The cocoa is back like dirt. Dry: This was odd. It was dirty cocoa and leather and incense at the end. I don't think my skin blended things the way they were supposed to blend. Category: Cocoa/Leather Rating: 2/5; not enough Overall: I don't think I'm going to keep this scent. The different notes didn't blend quite as well as they could have. I love the idea and those that follow this pantheon could respect this blend more than I do.

Imp: I can tell this is a floral blend. They are all juicy and in full bloom. There are berries mixed in. It's very juicy. Wet: Sweet berries and wine. Feel like this has dragon's blood in it. Dry: This turned into the typical dbr wine blend, sadly. The berries stayed the course and the woods might have, but they had to have been very soft. Category: Floral/Wine/Berry Rating: 2/5; morphed to something I don't need more of. Overall: Beautiful idea, but was a bit lost on me. All the florals are odd ones that I can't pick out and the woods are also odd. I already have plenty of dbr and wine blends.

Imp: STRONG Cherry Twizzlers, plain and simple. Wet: It's a little deeper now, dirtier, dustier wooden furniture. Dry: There are still Twizzlers, but the woods are deeper now and the dust just seems inevitable. Dry and fruity. Category: Cherry/Dry woods Rating: 3/5 Overall: This was very candy-like at first but did dry down to it's description. The velvety woods were definately covered in black-red cherries and currants. The mahogany was deep and the woods were very rich, but dry. Don't know if this is my kind of scent, but I do like it a bit.

Imp: Very clean. Baby wipes, cotton, a slightly sweet floral. Wet: I don't know what in this blend turns into a cotton bloom scent. I can clearly smell the roses at first with something resiny behind, I'm assuming that's the arabian musk. It's quite nice at this point. Dry: There are rose greens, It takes quite a while for the spices to build up and mature. The scent is somewhat dry and spicy but clean at the same time. Category: Rose/Cotton/Clean Rating: 3.5/5; Don't know how this works, but it does Overall: This scent is very odd. I got it as a frimp from the lab so I had to try it. I had no idea what any of the notes were when I made my notes. I thought Othello was going to a light floral scent but I was completely wrong about the notes. The spices are slight until the end but maintain the clean feeling from this blend. Quite odd.

Imp: Wow, that's harsh! There's a metallic blood smell, something like a rotten swamp is lurking inside the imp. Wet: The harshness that I first smelled morphed into a lemony orange now. I think it's the orange blossom being lovely on my skin like usual. There is definately something harsh still there, and I think it's the bitter clove. Too many things to pick out on this scent. Dry: There are woods; the fire and balsam of peru. The harshness has faded. There's a masculinity about the scent now, but slightly hidden. I didn't pick out the cumin or crushed mint or tobacco or black musk in the chaos of the scent, but I don't mind. Category: Woods/Masculine/Complex as hell Rating: 4.5/5; Beautiful mixing, I love the mixture and the way it morphs Overall: So this is one scent that I wasn't surprised at. The Fragrant Fellow section of the board has this as the most-recommended masculine scent for a good reason. This is manly sex in a bottle, it's gorgeous on my boyfriend, and even on me! The way it smells in the imp isn't pleasant in the least but the wet to dry is dark and sexual and stalk-provoking. It did fade a bit in a few hours, but I forgive it for that because it is just that nice.

Imp: I immediately thought Kumiho! due to the white tea. Very nice scent from the imp. Wet: The white tea is in the front, and I LOVE that. It's beautiful. The damp spiciness of the carnation mixes very well with the tea. No rose yet. Dry: Again, this smells a lot like Kumiho. The white tea and the spicy, dampness of the carnation is similar to the ginger of Kumiho. This is soft and lovely and very wearable. Finally the damask rose comes out to play, rounding out the blend beautifully. Category: White tea/Light floral Rating: 5/5; This is so lovely and light and perfect for spring Overall: I love white tea blends. I love Kumiho but it didn't last long enough for me. This blend lasts longer and has the same lovely white tea scent. The carnation and damask rose are very damp and full and darken the tea a little bit. This is one that I will keep, it's beautiful!

Imp: I can smell the tea for sure. There's a sweet and bitter top note, I think it's lemon. It makes sense with the tea. Wet: Smells like the artificially sweetened ice tea you get everywhere with vanilla and lemon. I think the pale musks are adding to the vanilla and becoming sweeter. Dry: A sweet and powdery vanilla scent. The tea is buried and fading continually. The floral and the pale musks are very light and powdery. A bit too much sweet. Category: Tea/Vanilla Rating: 2/5; Lovely, but too much sweet Overall: I might have liked this blend if there wasn't so much sweetness. The lightness of the tea and musks is very pleasant and this is the only vanilla blend that has actually smelled like vanilla to me without going plasticy. I think the super-sweetness ruined the blend for me. Oh well.

Imp: Earth. Wet: Living/green dirt. Soil with dark greens. Can definately picture the rose leaves and dried roses tilled in with the soil and moss. Dry: This is VERY nice on both me and my boyfriend. There's decaying greenery, a wet moss that I really do like (I'm assuming it's the oakmoss that is also in the woodsy Pumpkin Patch.) Category: Moss/Decay/Dirt Rating: 5/5; Beautiful and natural and rich Overall: I didn't think this scent would be this lovely. Sure, I imagined dirt but it wasn't like this. It's not the warm soil of a field but a cold soil of autumn. It's very rich and deep and inviting. The decay of it is very lovely, I will be trying this on the boyfriend again. I will probably be wearing this, too.

Imp: Very similar to Black Pearl with the cream soda scent. There are sweet, juicy berries as well. Wet: This is a sweet and darkly fruity Black Pearl without the coconut. Dry: This was the most berry I've had in a scent yet and I do think I like it. Purple fruits, yes. Medieval incenses, beautifully yes. Category: Berry/Dark floral Rating: 4/5; Beautiful mix, embodies Morgause very well. Overall: This scent reminds me of fog and the dark times and the darkness that is Morgause. Very well done. I was surprised at the violet staying largely in the background and just complimenting the other scents. Very adult and mature scent.

Imp: There's and astringent scent like vetivert or lemongrass. It's slightly citrus but not over-the top. A nice light floral somewhere, slightly familiar. Wet: This was dry. It's a wood table or chair wiped down with some sort of wood polish in a room with an open window. There's dust and lilac and the loveliness of sandalwood. Soft and light. Dry: Thisis sweet and soft and clean. It's very innocent and non-judgemental. This is the epitome of a lackluster and melancholic spring Sunday. Beautiful! Category: Sandalwood/Light Rating: 5/5; This was an insane hit, I thought I'd like it a lot! Overall: This is a scent I've been lusting after for a while now and I'm very glad I ordered it. It reminds me of when I mix Hymn and Seance; there's a warm dusty room full of polished wooden furniture. It's got the lightness like Hymn and the etherealness of Seance. I love this, it may become a bottle.

Imp: There's a nice, juicy floral on top. It's slightly damp and soft. There's a woodsy bottom that is slightly astringent in the middle. Wet: Sweet and more damp floral now. The astringent middle is still there but mixes with dirty woods. Dry: This is a manly deep woods scent. This reminds me of the deodorant and soap mixture of my boyfriend normally. It's beautiful! Category: Woods/Masculine Rating: 5/5; I would wear this if I wanted to be manly or invoke forest, or would put it on the boy to make him smell sexy. Overall: I really love this scent! I don't think I'd wear it alone all the time, I would probably put Catherine or a light floral like Arachne on top to bring a tree surrounded by flowers picture out. I'm definately keeping this imp for my boyfriend. It smells good on him too, just a bit less astringent from wet to dry. I think he liked it, too.

The essence of magickal enigmas and long-forgotten esoteric mysteries. Frankincense, rosemary, lavender, neroli, and verbena. Imp: "Lemony citrus woods" is what I scribbled in the car. The neroli and verbena come out, slightly bitter with some sort of woody scent, I'm assuming the frankincense and rosemary fooled my nose. Wet: On the skin it morphed to a nice, powdery, lemony wooded scent. Dry: Now it's sweet, powdery, and lovely sandalwood. A lot like lemon Pledge-wiped wood. Category: Citrus/Lemon/Masculine Rating: 2.5/5; I like the scent, but it doesn't make me want to wear it. Overall: I love that I get sandalwood from it when I don't even think that's an ingredient in the mix. I did get a bit of the magical feeling from it. I put this on the boyfriend and I think it's quite okay on him. He may get this one to play with a little bit. He can decide if this is right for himself.

Imp: Wow, that's quite a juicy, fruity bubblegum smell! Can smell the sage and green tea in front. Wet: Damp greens gives way to Zebra Stripes bubblegum. The sage pretty much disappears and the green tea is overtaken by the berries. The dark musk doesn't exist on me, apparently, or it turns into sugar. Dry: Zebra Stripes gum, a dark berry flavor. Category: Fruit/Bubblegum Rating: 2/5; Not quite berry, but bubblegum Overall: I don't think I'll be wearing this one because it was very sugary on me for some reason I can't pick out. It would be nice if my skin would have toned down the berries, but it didn't. Too candy-like for me.

Inspired by the tragic, ill-fated love of Queen Elizabeth I and the Earl of Leicester. This is our modernization of a 17th-century perfume blend favored by British aristocracy: rosemary, orange flower, grape spirit, five rose variants, lemon peel, and mint. Imp: Smells medicinal, like a cough syrup but not cherry-flavored. Wet: Smells strangely like a fresh, unlit menthol cigarette. I was really hoping this wasn't all to the scent until the menthol went away. The mint, lemon peel and rosemary mixed wet made that smell. The mint came out quite a bit here. Dry: I can definately smell the rosemary and some green rose quite like moon rose. Orange flower following lightly. The mint apparently settled on my skin and faded away, which I'm very glad for. I don't know if I get any grape from it, to be honest. Maybe that's the sweetness above the rosemary and orange flower but I'm not sure. Category: Rosemary/Orange flower/Rose Rating: 3/5; I love rosemary but the mint at first doesn't like me and I don't like it Overall: I would have loved this scent immensely if it wasn't for the mint. Menthol cigs aren't exactly a nice smelling thing to me. I LOVE rosemary and rose mixed together so I may be able to ignore the mint but I'm not sure. I think Catherine + Moon Rose would smell better than this blend for my rosemary and rose fix. It could be lovely, though so I think I'll give it at least one more try.

Bottle: Creamy buttercream frosting, no joke, with a liquor undertone. Wet: Fruity? Strawberries over pancakes. Dry: It's creamy and dreamy. Very delicious. Category: Food! Rating:4/5; Beautiful Overall: I don't really love food scents, but this one is nice. This was the monster I wasn't expecting to like too much, but I think it's yummier than Underbed. May keep wearing this or make something with it, not sure yet, but it's delicious!

Bottle: Sweet and gingerbread cake-y Wet: Same as in the bottle, but quickly turns sour. Dry: Sadly, I think this has gone bad on me. Chocolatey, yes. Coconuty, no. I have no clue what cassia smells like, either. Something harsh about it. Category: Food! Rating: 3/5; I like the smell but it gets harsh at the end Overall: This is a wierd cake smell, it's spicy but it's not. The cocao is almost inexistant and the coconut IS inexistant. It's nice, but I didn't like it quite as much as I thought I would.

In the bottle: super-sweet greenery with a floral. Not CLEARLY peony but suggests it. Wet: Oh wow is that sweet! Peony, for sure. Nice, strong Peony. Dry: It's a nice, sweet peony. It gets a little too sweet towards the end of it's stay. Category: Floral Rating: 5/5; It is peony, so peony moon can be nothing less Overall: This is the scent of a peony bloom covered in ants, it's the PERFECT peony perfume. It may not be for me every day, but it is lovely.

Until I use this in ritual form or with any kind of intent I'm going to post what I get from this scentwise. In the vial, it smelled sweet like a cinnamon roll with icing on top. It seemed like a cozy and inviting sweetness. Then on the skin it burst into this warm and firey cinnamon bark scent with citrus (sweet lemon zest and/or neroli.) I immediately felt a warmth go down my arm and I could picture it in a rotating sunburst shape. It was very nice. I'm not sure of the effects it gave me at work, but I liked the way it made me feel. ETA: Intent review I used this blend to help strengthen a bond between myself and my SO, to cut the random bs and protect our relationship from interference from ourselves or others. I annointed a necklace I made with a ring he had bought me (along with Temple of the Horned God for passion) and every time I wear that necklace when we're together, there's not much fighting or negative emotions. Scent: 3.5/5; nice, warm, cinnamon buns Usage: 4/5; so far, so good Imagery: 3.5/5; there wasn't much imagery but I felt warmed up the second I put it on

Scentwise In the imp: Smelled like something fresh, then the typical dbr plasticy scent. Pleasantly fresh dbr. Wet: Still dbr. It's soft and uplifting and cheery. Dry: Much of the same. Didn't smell very different from normal dbr blends. Category: DBR Rating: 2/5; not much to it Overall: My sniffer and/or hormones may be a bit odd today so I will have to sniff this again. I did like it, more fresh than anything. Effectwise I didn't feel much of it. For the most part, I felt worse today. Then again, I didn't use it as a ritual oil so I didn't utilize it as fully as I could have. When I got to work today I found that my managers scheduled me to work almost a week straight, 7.5 hour shifts every weekday and 5.5 hour shifts on the weekends. Not happy about that. I feel comfortable enough normally to say "No, I will not do this, it is not fair to bully me into working all those shifts when we have more people that can work." but I still did say it without swallowing my tongue. I also felt strong enough to confront my assistant manager, even though he denied ever touching or looking at the schedule which I know is complete bs. So long story summarized; I said things to stand up for myself today but I'm not 100% sure I wouldn't have done it anyways.

In the imp: I smell grass and earth like you smell when you're really close to the ground. It's green and alive. Wet: VERY soft scent! I got no rose from it at all really. Still the grass scent but a very damp grass. Something somewhat fruity or juicy floral underneath. Dry: Sweet and bright floral. Still green but a very light green. Overall: Grass/Sweet floral Rating: 2/5; nothing really special Overall: I think there may be something wrong with my sniffer and/or my hormones today because I didn't get much of anything out of this blend. So far, I think the blend is soft and sweet and maybe romantic. I should really try it again.

Come from: Shollin as raffle prize, Thanks Hollie! In the Bottle: Sweetness and musk. Reminds me of Gingerbread Poppet in a way, but musky, a slight musk in the bottle. Wet: Mmm musk! Sunsual musk. There is some sweet boozey scent but not as strong as the bottle. Dry: Foody/Gourmand but in a better way than the others I've tried. This is more what I expected Gluttony to be. There's a definately vanilla feel to the oil but no vanilla listed as a note, not plasticy like vanilla tends to be. Powdery drydown. Category: Musk/Gourmand Rating: 2.5/5; Nicely done sweet musk but not exactly for me. Overall: I like that the drydown leaves a powdered and sugary musk scent. It's very lovely and warm. Smut is a nice name for it, makes me feel drunk and full of dirty innuendo. Smells quite a bit like Dragon's Milk after a few hours.

Dublin, although it made me sick, smelled like a dewy forest. Ulalume smelled EXACTLY like fall leaves and damp ground. It's BEAUTIFUL in autumn. Hamadryad was like apples and moss.

Sexy, Smutty, Seductive, Provocative... It's All in Here

My boyfriend just a few weeks ago told me that Dragon's Heart smelled like dirty, kinky sex and grinned. Smug little bastard. I really like R'lyeh on him and I'm going to be trying some more oils on him as soon as I get my next order, but I'm not sure if he's going to bite on his own. I'll have to mix BPAL in his leave-in conditioner and everything else for him to wear it. I do think he will be properly enabled soon
