Pisces. I'm the typical slightly-schizo blend of what's left over from everything else.

On first sniff, I got a light fruity/sweet note, probably from the mandarin, lime and grasses. However, after application, I get a great underlying spicyness, without overdamping the initial crispness. However, the scent remains subtle enough to wear to work. Bourbon, leather, grasses, smoke -- all there, and nicely set off by the lighter citrus notes. I think this is going to be a great "Men's" scent. Well, at least chalk up one man who's going to be wearing it a lot.

I tried this based on a recommendation from Lycanthrope in the "Fragrant Fellow" thread. My first impression in the bottle was of moss and grasses. However, after applying and letting it mellow on me for a while, the woody notes and more of the thyme came out. My final impression, based on the one application is that it's a fairly "clean" scent on me, but with enough darker notes of wood and moss to make me feel like I'm wearing a "manly" scent, and not a perfume. Hopefully, this will become available in bottle form. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Hello, BPAL. This is my first review of any oil, so I hope that you'll be kind. My lovely wife LunaSea obtained a few imps of this oil for me, and I like it a lot. To me, this oil recalls one of the "rites of passage" every boy goes through -- breaking in a new ball glove. I'm reminded of summer afternoons spent watching a ball game with my dad, rubbing neatsfoot oil into my new Wilson, pounding the leather with my fist, and wanting so badly to make that stiff new ball glove fold up around the ball. I used to bury my face in that glove, smelling the leather, oil, and dust of the ballfield. It's the scent of summer, and of my father. As a guy, it doesn't scream sex at me, but it's more of a comforting scent. LunaSea likes it on me too, so I save it for at home or when we go out.
