Tiger Lily. I've not even gotten mine. But I want a Tiger Lily Soap *nods* Pele Kali Scarecrow Queen of Sheba Again, not tried them really yet, but I can imagine these would be divine as soaps.

This was a very generous swap from Shollin, and I have to send big hugs to her for this, as it's one I'd been coveting for a while. And while it was nothing like I expected .. it remains something I will forever covet. In the bottle: I smell cloves and maybe almond? Could be cherry, but I'm sticking with my gut and saying almond. It's reminiscent of March Hare in some ways, but there's something sharper about it. Wet: I get a whole lot of minty-clove, and the almondy smell dies down. But it doesn't vanish completely .. it's there, in the background. This is definitely a powerful scent, very fitting of the Tarot is it meant to portray. Wearing: I like this. It's minty and very green, and it seems to have good staying power. This is definitely a keeper. And I'm very glad I have a bottle of it now.

This was an extra thrown in to a swap, and I'm delighted that I received it. It was on my list to try anyway .. and now .. I know why. In the bottle: Honeysuckle just leaps out at me when I open the imp, and then I catch a whiff of the sweet-pea .. which I have to say is one of my favorite scents. I have soaps with sweet-pea .. even deoderant, i love it so much. So I'm very pleased that it seems so strong in Juliet. Wet: Oooh .. flowers! The lilies I think peek through after a short time on, though for a moment, the honeysuckle is incredibly strong. It's nice though, like being in a maiden's garden, just into the spring, when everything is fresh still, and the flowers aren't over-ripe. Wearing: This is most certainly a floral scent. It can't help but be. I haven't even goten a bit of the musk, as I was expecting since musks tend to glom onto me and overpower a lot of things. No, this makes me picture a woman on a swing, with flower petals shaking loose in a breeze and fluttering around her like butterflies. This is the scent I imagine hummingbirds are after when they flit about. It's delicate and airy with just enough of the musk to sort-of ground it.

Oh heck .. this is a good idea. I've got a few coming my way, and I'll need a way to store them too. *counts* My-oh-my .. 2 5ml and 2 10ml that I recall.

Now .. that is just damned cool. I've favorited that site, in fact, not that I ever call anyone overseas. The only person I really know overseasis in England, somewhere, and I'm already used to that time difference. Amen, sister. Preach it! *winks*

Ack! Another Limited Edition! Beth, you're sheer evil! And while I'm tempted to go ahead and order a 5ml of Tiger Lily now that I knwo the description. I think I need to hold off. I am ordering Hvisham though. Yesyes. Yum. I am assuming that it's the same pricing as June Gloom?

Swapped for this one too, because I had to try it after hearing everyone rave about it. In the bottle: Kind of a wine-y, grape-y smell. I can't quite place what I'm smelling in this though. It's reminiscent of Eclipse, I think. Wet: This warms instantly on my skin, and I like that it does. This was another one that I desperately wanted to work on me, and this one does, thank the gods. It's spicy-warm, and sweet-foody at the same time. Wearing: Love it. I'm -so- glad. This is an amazing scent. It's spicy and warm, like sitting in front of a fire, with a steaming cup of mulled cider. And a plate of fresh cookies, freshly baked. This is likely best suited for Autumn and winter, rather than Spring/Summer, but .. it's lovely and wonderful and a definite keeper.

A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond. Wow. Sweet! Sweet and warm, in fact. I was surprised by the smell of this, but then, I'm learning not to expect anything from these scents and just let them surprise me. In the bottle: VERY sweet. I can almost taste the Anisette in this, because the almondy smell is that strong. I can almost get the buttercream-y smell too, once I get past the almond. It's very sweet .. very foody, and nice, though not what I expected. Wet: This goes on very strong for me .. -very- strong, and I was afraid I'd have to wash it off. But it mellows quickly to something kind of cherry-honey sweet. Wearing: Curious. I think I smell the meade-rum now, over the nuttiness. It's fading quite a bit though, and honestly, I don't think this one's going to stay very long on me. While it's nice, it's also a bit too sugar-sweet for me. ADDED July 1: In the bottle: Sweet, like spiced cream and soemthing I can't detect. Might be the hazelnut, as this is definitely a nutty, foody scent. Wet: This smells like a rich, milky alcoholic concoction I might like. But it'd definitely be a sipping drink. Wearing: Too much for me. The boozy smell just isn't appealing to me, and that's a disappointment truly. I wanted to like the Hellcat, but it's just not in me.

Wait wait wait .. what? Lab .. moving? Wahoo! Though, I can't manage to find this post yet. As for add-ons, I can certainly understand how doing this constantly would definitely hold of progress. I agree with jj_j, instating a 48-hour rule would make perfect sense. (as would me actually asking Jason before I place an order, so I don't have to place an immediate second one!)

Well, I've tried Burial, Zombi and Old Venice. All to rosey to be Autumn to me. Djinn and the Hesperides are on order .. as is Ulalume. I'll have to add Belladonna to my list though .. if it's not already there. Thanks hun!

Well ... sad to say, Samhain wasn't near what my brain thought it was going to be. So. I'm in search of other Autumnal scents. I'd -love- to get my paws on an imp of Spooky, if any kind soul would like to be so kind. I have Jack on order .. but are there any others out there that cry 'Autumn' or better yet 'Halloween/October' to anyone? I likely won't be ordering these until like ... August .. or whenever the next update is .. probably more likely the beginning of August, regardless of the next update. But I'd like to get an idea what else I can look for.

Hmm. You know, this one wasn't nearly what I expected, adn I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. In fact, I'm kind-of dissappointed. In the Bottle: Crisp, adn rather bitter. A very sharp scent .. I had to sniff some coffee to clear my nose after just sniffing the bottle. I have high hopes for it still, and can't bear the thought that this may not work on me. Wet: Wow. this is strong. Sharp, and still awfully bitter. I'm afraid this one is becoming almost sour on me now, and while I really want to be able to wear it, it's not what I expected. Looking at the ingredients, I should have known. With Allspice and nutmeg, it's not a spiciness that's going to be overly appealing. Wearing: *frowns* This is almost making my eyes burn, it's so strong and sharp. And this makes me exceedingly sad, because I was really hoping this might be a good scent for me. Samhain being my favorite holiday and all. I suppose I need to stop following my heart, and realize that certain scents just aren't meant for me. On further observation, I -can- smell the apple in this, but blended with a pumpkin-y smell that just doesn't appeal to my nose. *cries*

I -love- this scent, and I have to thank jj_j for decanting a bit for me to be able to try it. I'm now even more convinced that Beth is an absolute genious. In the bottle: This one is a warm scent. Something like clove and spice, but it's kind of a warm amber as well. I can already tell I'm going to like this one. Wet: vaniclion said it's smoky, and that's an apt description. I wore this for the first time tonight, and I'm loving it. It's warm .. odd for a water sign, but I think we're attracted to our opposites in many ways, and that certainly applies here. Wearing: Definitely incense. A smoky, spicy scent that might be clove or cinnamon, but if it's either, both are very light. I think I catch amber in this one, and possibly vanilla. This is dead-on though for a 'Scorpio' feel. Very sensual and agressive, without being annoying or overpowering. This is the kind of scent that draws you in, makes you always want more. I'll buy more of this. Probably at least a 10ml. Anytime I need to radiate the aura of a scorpio's sensual fire, the self assuredness of my sun sign, this will be my pick.
