On me, this was a definite earthy, leafy scent. It's pretty light & faded pretty quickly so I won't be getting a bottle of this. I'm a little disappointed because I wanted to love this one.

Well goodness, this one had me very intrigued. I do believe I smell typewriter ribbon. Is that even possible? I don't get any of the other components. On me, it's a very light scent. It's pretty pleasant but I think the decant I have will last me a long while.

I really had high hopes for this one because lily scents usually work on me( except Black lily *shudders*). I do get a nice lily in the background, overshadowed by soap. I'm really glad I bought a decant of this & not a bottle. The soapy smell is very strong & not in a good way. Call me disappointed.

I had the opportunity to catch Gris Grimly in Baltimore for his book signing this past weekend so I snatched up Soothing System while there. I think this may be my favorite of the blends. I've never been a fan of grape scents but this is the most amazing juicy fresh grape, right off the vine scent I have ever smelled. It's amazing on me. I love it so much!

Ugh! I'm really annoyed. Gothic Horror is utter baby powder on me. I hate the smell of baby powder. I must keep a track of the components in this blend to avoid in the future. Rats & Bats!! I was hoping this would work on me.

Woohoo! A blend that doesn't amp rose on me! Usually all rose scents turn to soap on me. This is a lovely blend. I do believe it's the plumeria combined with the white pear. ETA: Darn it! I spoke too soon. For some reason I am now smelling soapy rose on me. Why rose, why do you hate me so??? This is a pretty feminine floral if rose works for you.

I wanted to love this one but sadly I think it's the oakmoss making a mess on my skin. It also fades pretty quickly. Any type of wood component is ify on me. I think it would smell really nice on my boyfriend.

There are some scents that make you go YUM! The boysenberry in this blend is amazing on my skin. I had my wrist up to my nose practically the whole day, it smelled that great. Mixed with the boysenberry I got a bit of the buttery-ness that just worked. Love this scent!!

As soon as I tried on Pomona I immediately smelled pomegranate with apple in the way distance. It's been a few hours now & the apple took over although it's pretty faint. I like this one as light as it is. Nice one.

:@&*$!: What the hell??? I should have listened to my uh... spidey sense & passed on this one but because people were raving about it, I ordered a bottle. Well, I smell like a darn Lesser which means I smell like baby powder. I HATE the smell of baby powder!!

Marshmallow? Reading some of the reviews, I would have loved marshmallow in this but I definitely did NOT get marshmallow. The cream went really wonky on my skin. Almost like it's rancid. Maybe I was having a bad skin day or something. Setting aside for another day to test. =

Let's see.... No apple blossom, what peppermint? no allspice or sandalwood. All I get is grave dirt. I normally love love love dirt scents but I have quite a few dirt scents in my collection already & I was hoping I would get the apple blossom mixed with dirt in this one. It was really strong too. I don't dislike it but I think I would reach for Graveyard Dirt or Worm Moon first.

Did anyone mention Hemlock? This smells soooooo good on my boyfriend. OMG! amazing!! ETA: Oh & I forget Blade of Grass. I initially got it for my boyfriend as a joke since he's a landscaper hehe but I think it definitely could be a masculine scent.

Sadly, this is a very light scent. I can barely tell I have anything on. What I can smell, not sure. Maybe cupcakes, a slight hint of chocolate? So disappointed but I'm going to hang onto it because maybe over time it will morph into something I will love.

On me, Cake Smash smells exactly like Eat Me but much lighter. I really have to slather myself so I can smell it. I may need to order another bottle because the scent is so light, I'll use it up really quickly. I love love love Eat Me, so anything that smells like it, I have to buy.

The Last Squished Jellybean... On first sniff I got licorice & anise right away with a little bit of cinnamon. Dabbing it on my wrist, it's all cinnamon & it hasn't changed in hours. I keep smelling my wrist. Yum!!!! OMG! This smells divine. I really wish this came in a 5ml bottle because my frimp won't last.

Right away I got Red Hots & thought,"Crap, this isn't going to work on me!" It slowly turned into a creamy cherry scent on my skin which smells freaking fantastic. Thank Goddess!!! Need to order another bottle asap!

Detestable Putrescence is amazing! I knew I was going to love this one. My skin chemistry is odd most times & for some reason DP slightly reminds me of Beaver Moon 05 even though there isn't cheesecake or cupcakes in the description. I'm guessing it's the vanilla component. Either way, I love it!!!

So many reviews saying lemon but Thank Goddess I don't get lemon at all!! I hate lemon scents with a passion. I got a frimp of Hemlock with one of my orders & I gave it to my boyfriend to try. Holy Yum!! Does it smell freaking fantastic on him. It's a masculine scent through & through. A pine forest-y scent but not too much pine with herbs & a bit of spice. I'm not a fan of pine scents either but it works it this one. I do believe I found my boyfriend's signature scent. Such a manly scent! I love it so much!

Yum! Blackberry Jam & Scones. I was so excited to get this scent. A dear friend was able to pick me up a bottle at Comic Con. I'm a foody lover & I had to try this because I've been going nuts for blackberry scents lately. On my skin, it's exactly that, blackberry jam & scone. More blackberry jam than anything with a touch of scone. I love it!!!! Oh & I wanted to add, it's a pretty strong scent & for some reason Bpal lingers on my skin all day, usually. This one is no different!

A dear friend picked up AF1 for me. I was so excited to try this & I do get that white cake type of note BUT *cries* with baby powder. AND I would rather not smell like a Lesser, Thank you very much - J.R. Ward fans will get the reference. The cake smell is so light I can barely detect it. The baby powder note takes over right away. I can't stand the smell of baby powder so I avoid all scents that mention it when I read reviews. This was such a disappointment. This will probably go in my swap pile. Sad.

A dear friend picked this up for me. Let's take a look back at the notes in the released Hellion: black plum, champaca flower, dark musk, patchouli, narcissus and scorched sandalwood. On my skin it was a gorgeous patchouli headshop type of smell. Patchouli was the dominant note on me. I love love love this scent to death. Now, Hellion V2 is in-your-face PLUM. Plum is very much the dominant note in this blend. All the other notes are in the far far background. I still smell that headshop type of smell but definitely not as strong. I love this one too. Maybe a little too much! Want more!!

When I sniffed this out of the bottle I knew I should have bought two bottles instead of one, darn it!!! On my skin, I'm getting all types of berries, not just blueberry. I'm not getting any type of musk or honey other reviews have mentioned. Just berries. I've been smelling my wrist all day. It's a keeper!!

This is a strange one. I do believe I'm only getting the musk & the frankincense. Heavy on the frankincense. I'm on the fence about this one. It's an interesting scent.

I had to try Pumpkin Smash for two reasons. One, for the pumpkin of course. Two, for the asphalt *snickers*. I work in the asphalt industry so this was a must have. Fortunately, I don't get anything but pumpkin but slightly waxy? It's not quite pie or cookies. I'm not sure what it is exactly, the pulp? Makes sense. I just love it.
