Cathode, to me, was a really refreshing minty sensation. But I don't know if it's that crisp late October night when you're outside and filled with autumn chill... I haven't found anything that involks that to me, yet. Then again, I've got probably 20 imps that I haven't tried yet sitting on my nightstand!!!

The bottles could be purple with green and orange polkadots... the vessel in which the precious is contained is not what's important... it's the precious inside that matters.

That's how I've been applying my one lonely 5ml too, Andra. I tried the "finger over the top" method and ended up with a hand that was way too June Gloomy

In the vial: Cinnamon red hots. That's what this smells like. I don't smell an ounce of the other scents. Wet: There's still that overwhelming cinnamon, but there's something else fighting to get to the surface. Dry: The cinnamon mellows out and allows the clove to come through. There's just enough of a hint of pepper to make the whole thing spicy. The "wafting" factor is mostly cinnamon, but the clove and pepper show up from time to time. I smell like a most wonderful witch's brew. It sort of smells like the altar oil my coven uses. I was afraid that this one would burn me, as I've not got the best track record with oils that contain cinnamon. I end up with red welty things all over where I applied the oil. This one doesn't burn at all. Though, it's been making my upper lip and nose tingly from time to time.

Yowzah, both myself and The Old Man thought this smelled just like chocolate and apples in the bottle. Wet: Still very appley -- tart apples. Like granny smith. And it still smells like chocolate, but now some warmer smell, like caramel. Sort of like those Harry & David chocolate and caramel covered apples? Nummy Dry down: The apples are still there, but less pronounced. The chocolate scent has faded and now it's got a nice mellow vanilla and woody scent, too. I'm sooooooooo loving this. I have to agree, the apple does play hide-and-seek with my nose. I'll get the warm woody scents for a bit, and then *poof* a breeze of apples. It's just often enough that I'm really liking it. Hopefully it won't turn sour during my workout later. Though, it seems to fade really quickly on my skin. I brought along my imp just in case Might have to get me a bigger bottle of this one. Huzzah for apples

I'm second?!?!? In the bottle: First whiff - Lemon Pledge. Second Whiff - something sweeter. More like Lemonhead candies. I'm not usually into lemons, so we'll se how this goes. Wet: Still VERY lemony, but there's something lurking back behind it. Maybe it'll mellow out at dry-down. But sniffing my wrists is making me happy. Dry: The lemon's faded a little to the background and other notes are coming up. It's much lighter than when it was wet. Goodness, I wish I could pluck out individual scents and identify them for you guys, but I'm so horrible at that! One whiff and it's you in the house on a rainy, rainy summer afternoon after you've spent the morning cleaning, but are now settling down for a comfy day with the family. The next, it's that scent that lingers in the air right after it rains, and it's getting warmer again, and the flowers are moist and warm and sending their scents into the air, but there's a hint to the sky that it's about to rain again. I love it!!! I'm going to have to ration out my 5ml

Reinaluna: I just received a response from Brian regarding my e-mail. Did you put all the information in your e-mail (name, shipping address, order date, what you ordered, CCNow Order number or Paypal transaction#, etc?)? If not, you might want to give them as much info as possible. I know when I do support e-mails, I do all the ones with all the info first before tackling the ones that don't have as much information, as I'll have to go digging to find them. Just a thought I'm sure your order's fine. This order is the first one I received the notice on. The other came to me with no problems!

I got mine, too. This is the first one I received (didn't get one for my first order, but that got here with no problemos). Now to go stalk the postman

Important info regarding shipping and emails
enozgirl replied to Doc Constantine's topic in Announcements
Just an FYI -- I received a Click-n-Ship notice for my (assumed) order on the 21st (which contained Persephone + other back-logged scents). I feel bad, too, cause I sent off an email to answers-at-bpal and now got the shipment notice. One more day of patience and I wouldn't have made more work for Brian & Beth -

*patpatpat Reinaluna* I'm sure between real work, making oils, filling bottles, labeling bottles and mailing them out, Beth and Brian are getting through e-mails just as fast as their internet connection will let them! -
Jolly Roger was very beachy for me. It brought me back to the lovely holiday I spent in the Keys with a good friend of mine. Lots of fun, rum, and ocean breezes. I didn't try it as a room scent, though, just on my skin, which didn't really like the rum

My first order was through CCNow and my card wasn't charged until the order status was "Shipped". Hope that helps!

Thanks for moving, QS! I didn't realize you'd asked the same thing a few months ago. The search didn't turn up your post, or the answers! Thanks for the info Blackrayne! I didn't receive one for my first order, so I wasn't sure what to be watching for. My oldest order seems to be date-wise in the batch that just went out ('cause it had Persephone in it, it went out after the others from the 21st), so I just didn't want to miss it.

Two quick questions on the USPS shipment announcement e-mails that are sent out: 1.) Do they go to the e-mail addres from which the Lab received your paypal payment -- meaning, the e-mail that's linked to your paypal account? I'm assuming yes. 2.) Do they have a specific Subject or From line? My paypal account is linked to my work email, which receives a TON of crap spam each day. I'd hate to miss the notification because I thought it was one of those fake tracking spams I've been getting of late. Thanks!!!! -Stacy [merged with existing thread ~qs]

How I use Blue Moon is really going to depend on how it smells on me. I'll definiately be using some during my blue moon rituals, but if it smells wonderful on me and makes me feel all "special" (like a blue moon is!), I'll wear it out

In the bottle: I can definitely smell the sandalwood. There's also sort of a myrrh smell to it? It's spicy and sweet and wonderful. It's like you're out in the desert and stumbled across a spice caravan that's near a bakery making fresh bread. Wet: There's a lot of sandalwood coming through, along with musky and a little foody. Not really foody, but it makes me want to eat my arm. Dry: Oh, this smooths down to something so delicious I can't stand it. I didn't think I'd like it at first, as I'm not usually really good with sandalwood (what? Libra not good with sandalwood??). It's spicy-sweet. It goes all warm and exotic. The scents blend together into something mysterious and warm. I'm seriously thinking that I'm getting a bottle of this. I can't stop smelling my wrists with this one on. This isn't one that I'd have picked for myself, as I'm not usually good with Sandalwood but... oh goddess, this is damned good stuff!

Rose Recommendations - which blend is for me?
enozgirl replied to Nadirah's topic in Recommendations
Gotta agree with MissA -- Spellbound and Black Rose go very rosey on me. As did Tarot: The Empress. The Empress is VERY rosey. If you like sweet roses, I'd say give Delirium a go. It's all apples and roses to me -
Sorry sorry! I promise to sign my full name on each e-mail from now on. I thought that the whole address (with my name) was in the e-mail -- I'll make sure to include it from now on. *goes off and flogs self*

First sniff in the bottle: I must be crazy...I'm getting a sort of lily-ish smell, not very rosey to me at all. Light florals don't always do well on me, so I was hesitant to put it on. On me wet: Still floral, but there's a juiciness to it. Not the usual rose that I'm used to smelling. The apple's starting to come out. Again, not too sure about the floral, but something's making me not wash it off. It's making me feel girlie and happy Dry Down: Oooh... nummy nummy apples! Sitting on a table next to a bouquet of roses. I'm not getting lemony at all (thank goodness!). Just lovely apples and fragrant roses. No, better... walking through a fragrant rose garden enjoying a freshly picked apple. That smell of the apple when you bite into it is what I've got here, mingling with the smell of the roses on a warm day. This is divine... I'll be ordering a bigger bottle of this one for those days that I want to be really girlie smelling, or just need a smile.

Oh wow oh my goodness.... I've just been doing research on the moons, too, to make up incense for class for each one. Now I'll have to order to see how close I came to good blends Your oils are so amazing Beth - this is an amazing idea!
