This is so gorgeous. It's Lemon Verbena and faint osmanthus. Very refreshing and bright! Later on, the olive leaf appears rendering an oily texture.

So basically, what i get is the famous fougere base, present in Dorian and Villain, plus apple musk (i think). This dries down to an unsweetened fuzzy comforting fougere base; like imagine the released Mad Hatter stripped off the pennyroyal or Dorian stripped of the sugared lemon or Villain stripped of the lime; that's what i get

This is such a happy mood uplifting scent. It's all about the vanilla cream. It's bright and fluffy.

In the decant, i can smell rosemary . Once it hits my skin i can smell the wormwood, but after half an hour all turns into air fresher. was not expecting that.

Based on the reviews above i was waiting for a biiter shampoo scent, but honestly, i got nothing like that. All i got was some muted green musk with a faint citrus shadow. Pretty disappointing as i was expecting bitter grapefruit pith and herbs

This is such an unusual scent. I get on my skin gunpowder and a distant whiff of ocean air. It's truly beautiful and incensy, but not quite. It's one of those unique BPAL oil from the GC line.

In the bottle: Hot Tamale candy, not the burning kind. Skin: the oil doesn't sting a bit, but as it fades, it turns powdery and plastic. No sign of SO yet. I think this oil needs some serious aging.

I grabbed a bottle when it was restocked for a very short period of time. When it settles on my skin, i get a whiff of a snugly coca-cola fuzzy musk, WHICH i remember vividly smelling already in Satyr. As the oil dries, the myrh comes out and smooths out everything. Really pleasant and comforting.

Rose always goes foul on my skin. In this blend, i get a powdery rose. No sight of pomegranate.

This reminds me A LOT of Bon Vivant, only instead of strawberry you get minty citrus champagne.
-
Wet on my skin it smells like pickle juice. Then gradually it turns into something clean and soapy. This falls in the category of expensive floral soap scents.

Smells like a mix of Pink bubblegum and eucalyptus with the latter taking over and asserting its presence. Can't wrap my head around this unusual combo.
-
Kumquat creamy popsicle/ bubblegum. Very girly and carefree

The drydown reminds me the way sea shells smells, namely the texture of its outer layer. Windward Passge reminds me of another aquatic, The Deep Ones, only that WP is bit dryer.
-
Anubis reminds me so much of Eastern Comma from the Metamorphosis 2014 line. Although there's no hay listed in notes, i smell it so clearly. This a standout oil in the BPAL fragrance family. Very unusual and a head turner for sure!

2016 version: Freshly applied, i can pick up the Snake oil and then everything disappears on my skin. After 30 minutes i detect creamy vanilla and later on the bergamot comes out and surprisingly it reminds me vaguely of a Lemon Scented Sticky Bat. Very summery and light.

I smell tea leaf, which to my nose smells like white tea note. Then something airy and sweet comes into the picture. The drydown reminds me of an airy white tea-peach musk.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?

No worries, the Labbies fulfill all the orders even after ltd ed oils are pulled down. -
This is my first BPAL order since the increase in the shipping rates and suprisingly it was shipped via DHL (which is ) instead of USPS. This justifies the 34 USD shipping charge and at least i know DHL will deliver it to me unlike USPS shipments that get lost half of the time.

Apple 2 from the Halloween 2015. It's the most summery scent of the all 2015 Halloween Apples

I swear there is a champaca resin in this blend, but turns out it's the orange blossom that renders a soapy vibe. All i get on my skin is incense, no honey, no vegetal musk, nothing.

This is not full on snow note scent. It's lifespan is pretty short and i get a faint fir/camphor traces on a bed of minty elemi.

The opening greets me with a burst of juicy oranges, the same ones as in Eastern Comma. Then the lavender peeks out and the whole things dissipates to a comforting fruity sweetness. I was expecting more zest and zing and punch. This is to mellow for my taste.
