    Autumn Dusk Bath Oil

I got a generous decant of this bath oil through a forum swap. On my skin i get a hypnotic base of copal and myrh with whiffs of powdery rose floating around. It's very evocative of an autumn dusk, but i could do without rose addition.

    El Dia de los Reyes

Hot cocoa with cinnamon, coffee, and brown sugar. I got a decant from the 2007 release. Freshly applied on my skin, i get whiffs of delicious sweet cocoa and hints of marshmallow and later the brown sugar tries to emerge, but backs down. The dry down reminds A LOT of Sue's Great Ol' Puppet Show, only that it's slightly less heady and sprinkled with cinnamon. Ultimately, it's too foody for me.

Black Pomegranate and Blackcurrant Atmosphere Spray

It's indeed a tart and hypnotic scent. I get right away the pomegranate smell plus the tartness of the black currant , but it fades oh so fast, like in 15 minutes

    Goblin Market

This is such a cheery and bright scent. It reminded me instantly of Punkie Night. I get mostly quince and apples out of it. This is very summer-appropriate and i'm happy i took a chance and purchased a full bottle

    Oakmoss Accord

Salty, mineral, herbal, green scent. This blend will shine on my skin in the summer heat. It reminds me very much of Eau de Paco Rabanne Pour Homme.

    Sin in the Pumpkin Patch

As i sniffed the oil in the bottle, i caught a familiar whiff and that is the cinnamon note, which is very similar to the one in Satyr. I dabbed some of the oil on my skin and i got prominently pumpkin spice with Sin echoing somewhere in the distant background. On the drydown, the original Sin can discerned but it gets drowned by the pumpkin. I truly believe this oil blend needs some serious aging.

    Nosferatu

This oil did a 360 turn on me, literally. It started out as sweet soil and herbs, but upon drydown the dirt/ earth accord vanishes and i'm left with what i call a poor man's Lemon Scented Sticky Bat I must say that i like it and in total awe and i might wear this in summer. I sampled this again after 3 weeks and i'm registering mellow lemony dusty/bony dirt. Ugh, and i thought i'd like this

    Blood Rose

In the imp i smell Dragon's blood resin and something flowery. Drying: Dragon blood resin is backing away and i'm left with a powdery wine rose. It's not something i enjoy, so it's a pass for me.

    Twenty-One

I get the Martini reference, but the oil has this chemical vibe about; perhaps it's fresh and hadn't settled down. Overall, it's fizzy and bright and i'm trying hard to ignore the funky "nail polish remover" smell.

    Baron Samedi

In the imp i smell strong bay leaf - oh boy, i'm afraid we won't get along. Drying: dry bay leaf, a hint of vetiver + crushed white pepper. A faint sweetness tries to emerge, but the heavy spices just crush it. It's a scent in the vein of Port-au-Prince.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

Try Perversion. When i sampled it for the 1st time, i thought it's Hypnotic Poison reincatnated.
  12. Can somebody confirm whether Autumn Fancies smells similar to Titus Andronicus?

    The Inn Atmosphere Spray

got it as a free sample. This atmo spray smells so divine. Banana flambe cake.

    The Phoenix in Autumn

Disappointment ! All i get is ivy and bitter leaves. Off to swaps!

    The Decrepit House

This is a dusty woody scent. I get the sweet black musk dustiness, the tobacco sweetness and the mahogany base. To me it reads as a dryer and dustier version of The Black Rider.

    Goblin Cider

A dark, earthy ginger cider. Oh Gosh! Where do i start? Upon application, the visual memory and smell of grapes pomace hits me in the nose along with the fizzy ginger! As the oil slowly evaporates, a vanilla creme custard note develops joining the sparkly ginger, which looses its potency. It's an unexpected combo, but i can't say it's bad. Still unsual, but long-lasting!

    Phoenix Steamworks

LOVE! It's fragrant honey and incense and some spices i can't discern. I never paid much attention to Phoenix Steamworks oils, but this one is just WOW!

    A Countenance Forboding Evil

Freshly applied, i get the vetiver with hints of orange peeking out aggresively in a swirl of smoke. Fortunately, it dies down slowly and leaves way for the patchouli to shine. It all settles down into powdery mishmash. Pass!

    Oberon

Orchid, white musk, and bergamot wafting over juniper berries, with a gentle touch of soft, earthy patchouli. Clean floral musky scent. Borders on baby-wipes type of smell. I find it unisex, to be honest. Perfect for office wear.

    Masquerade

A festive, dazzling blend, layered in mystery and intrigue. Patchouli, ambergris, carnation and orange blossom. A base of dark and charred patchouli with hints of spicy carnation and traces of orange blossom. More of a night scent and better worn in late fall.

    Mata Hari

Mata Hari blooms into a fragrant rose with jasmine around the edges and a biiiiiiiiiit of spice. One of the few scents where rose behaves on my skin, actually!

She Crushes for Dead Men Deadly Wine

I admit that i've never smelled something like this before. Posters above me claim that it smells like wine, but i don't agree with them. When wet it smells like crushed grape that is about to start fermenting with a good dose of incense and balm of Gilead. The end result is strangely hypnotic and has a fruity/ distnat bubblegum note and it reminds me of melted candle wax over pomegranate infused wine.

    September Midnight

Testing September Midnight was a journey! Upon application a very familiar smell greeted me, but for the love of GOD, i couldn't remember where i've smelled it before. Turns out it's Omen from GC. Yep, juniper-piney -musky smell and i though Oh, no! I was already at peace with the fact that the oil is a miss for me, but sniffing my wrist half an hour later, i got this fragrantic ozoney fresh tart whiff! It was to die for !!!!! I took a chance and ordered a bottle and it all worked out! Happy as a bee!!!

    Punkie Night

Having retested it, i have to say i like it a LOT more aged and it might dethrone Autumn Cider as my top apple scent. The sharpness/ tartness of the cranberry is less noticeable and gives way to crisp juicy apples.
